“Carson took excellent care of my dogs over the weekend. He walked them, fed them, and made sure they were well cared for while I was away. He was responsible, reliable, professional, and attentive to their needs. Communication was great, and I felt comfortable knowing my dogs were in good hands. I was very happy with his work and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter or dog walker.”

About: I grew up with cats and dogs. As I joined the workforce I would volunteer with rescue organizations as a foster and on site care giver. Im currently in between opportunities, but wanting to keep active. Looking to make extra money for the extras in life. Pets bring me so much happiness in my day. We have a large fenced in back yard with doggie door access. We have separate rooms for the cats while we integrate the pets, if that’s what you’re looking for. We offer play time and can help with certain medications as needed. We’re also happy to work with dietary restrictions.

“Miriah is great! She walks my 2 French Bulldogs on a regular basis. She sends messages and even pictures of their adventures. I think my girl even knows her name. I get the cutest head tilt when I say "is Miriah coming?"”

“Pooja was great with Obie! She was always on time and stayed after Obie’s walks to give him pets and attention. She also offered to feed the goldfish which was very nice of her! Would definitely book again 😊”

“Absolutely love having Sara as my dog walker! She is beyond accommodating for my crazy work schedule and is very responsive to my care instructions. I love how she took photos of my puppers and sent to me while at work, and always gave a great synopsis of what he was doing. I highly recommend using Sara and I will use her anytime I’m in town. My doggie loved her!”

Gus absolutely adored Elizabeth. He always knew when it was getting close to walk time and would either sit near the door waiting patiently or watch to see when she would be arriving… and always about 15-20 minutes before she would arrive. She was excellent with Gus. And she will be an excellent Vet when she finishes her studies and graduates. Gus and I will miss Elizabeth. Outstanding!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
