“Jessica is charming and an outstanding sitter! She takes her job seriously but also shows so much joy in what she does. She sent photos of our dog at least several times daily and our dog took to her like part of the family. This was our first time using rover and our experience with Jessica was exceptional. Thank you.”

“I was nervous to use someone I’ve never met to dog sit while I was out of town because I’ve had a bad experience in the past, but Noah restored my faith! He was so good with my babies and took excellent care of them while I was gone. They just loved him!!! Will definitely rebook when I’m out of town again!”

“Anne did a great job dog sitting our 18 year old yorkie. She seemed happy and cared for when we returned from our vacation. We plan to use her again for future travels!”

“Peyton did an excellent job caring for my crazy huskies while I was gone on vacation. I came home to happy fur babies and an intact house, which if you have huskies, you know as a feet in and of itself. I got lots of pictures and updates which helped my own separation anxiety 😉. I can’t thank her enough for taking such good care of my home and my little fur family and definitely recommend her for any of your pet care needs.”

“Hailey was super nice and helpful as we looked for a puppy sitter at the last moment. She sent updates and kept us informed about how things were going.”

“Michele was absolutely amazing! This was the first time we have left Tank alone with someone other than family members so we were definitely nervous about how he was going to react. Michele exceeded our expectations with numerous pictures and updates throughout the weekend as well as vidoes of our baby! We felt at ease knowing Tank was in great hands and will definitely be using Michele again whenever we need a dog and house sitter! I cannot thank Michele enough for her dedication to animals and making sure everyone was happy!”

About: Hello, I’m Liz! I am a second year veterinary student at Oregon State University! I’ve been pet sitting for many years now, caring for animals including dogs and cats. This summer I will be in Pensacola and would love to pet sit! I have quite a bit of animal experience in and out of the vet clinic. I don’t currently have an animal, so I have lots of time to take care of yours! At home I love hiking with my parent’s dog, Millie! At school, I love fostering dogs. Rick was my most recent foster and is the big black and white spotted dog in the photo! If you are looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter or dog walker, I would love to get to know your furry friends! I am comfortable with animals of all ages and sizes. I also have gone through Fear Free training. I just got off of school and am not currently working, so my schedule is very flexible! I will be working part time at a veterinary clinic in August, but am still very available. I am looking to care for your animals in their own home! I feel that pets usually are most comfortable staying in a familiar environment. I am happy to stay over if needed. I am an early bird and I enjoy taking dogs on walks to get some outdoor time!

“Allison, was great with our pets. She was communicative and send us pictures of our puppies while we were away. We had a great experience with her.”

“Shannon took excellent care of my dog Romeo. He is a highly reactive dog slow to warm up to strangers. Her calm demeanor and willingness to be patient with him worked out. We will have Shannon take care of him again.”

About: I am actively participating in a part time summer internship involving animal care. I have also volunteered at the Pensacola Humane Society in the past. During my time at the shelter, I learned skills such as handling large and/or aggressive dogs so I have no limit to the clients I can accept on Rover. I have been walking + sitting dogs as a job for over a year on WAG and just recently decided to bring my services to Rover as well. Ever since I was young, I have fostered lost/stray cats and dogs in my own home every chance I get. Over the years, I have worked with a wide variety of different animals. Big or small. Old or young. Etc. This combination of experience has allowed me to develop all of the skills necessary to guarantee the best care for your fur baby, including but not limited to: Walking, feeding, training, grooming, enrichment, cleaning kennels, administering medicine + first aid, rehabilitation, etc. I am able to choose my own work hours to accommodate your schedule for walks and sittings. My schedule is very flexible and I am available to provide any care necessary at any hour of the day. I also accept requests on short notice. Going on vacation? Work trip? Family emergency? Whatever the situation, you can trust me to watch your pets while you are away! If you choose the boarding option, I am more than happy to welcome your furry friends into my home! The highlight of this option is my backyard, featuring multiple ponds and a nature trail for extra enrichment during your pet’s stay here. (And for the cat parents, a custom built screened in catio as well!) I also have a few pets of my own, there are currently 4 cats and 1 aquatic turtle living in my home. They are friendly and get along with other people and animals, but for safety purposes will be kept in a separate room during the duration of boarding. If you opt for the sitting option instead, I will make sure to make it as comfortable as possible for your pet. I can check in during the morning, afternoon, and evening every day during the sitting with feedings and playtime at the beginning and end of the day. Please message me if you have any other rules or requests!

About: I grew up with a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and have loved dogs ever since. I currently do not have a dog of my own, so I help my large family out with their pet sitting needs. I really enjoy long walks/runs, especially with doggos! I currently am taking classes part-time and am not working, other than pet sitting, so I have plenty of time to take your pets on long walks, or check in on them however much you would like! I can come to your house and walk your dogs, play with them, and make sure they get some good quality interactions while you are otherwise occupied.

About: I have 10 years of pet care experience from growing up with dogs of different breeds from the time they were puppies until their final days. I work remotely Monday — Friday so this allows me to keep an eye on your pets if they are being boarded here or dropped off for the day. If caring for pets in my home I do not have a fenced-in backyard but can take them on walks in my neighborhood which is very safe.

About: As a pet parent for over 60 years, I have always been in touch with my love for and connection with animals. For the past 12 years, I provided care to dogs, cats, birds and rabbits. Through this time, I learned about caring for animals in different stages of life all with different personalities and needs. My certifications in dog training from the Animal Behavior College has given me the knowledge and skills to further understand how to provide the best personalized care to each pet. When not caring for the pets of clients, I volunteer at a shelter as an advocate for the five freedoms for all animals. Pet care is my passion and is my full time career. My commitment to this line of work and my flexible schedule ensures my ability to meet the care needs of each client and their pets. The primary service I offer is providing care in clients’ homes. Whenever intaking new clients and pets, my first step is to schedule a complimentary meet and greet. During this meet and greet, I have a series of questions that I ask to ensure my understanding of exactly what is needed to care for each pet exactly as they need it. Safety and comfort of the pet is my top priority and pride myself on providing that peace of mind to clients.

From the moment we connected, she was communicative, responsible, and clearly experienced with high-energy pups. She checked in regularly, sent me daily updates with the cutest photos, and made sure my dog got plenty of exercise, love, and attention. It gave me such peace of mind knowing my dog was in such good hands. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup and couldn’t be more grateful. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Claire has been watching Rigby and Ringo for us and we highly recommend her. We use Claire whenever we travel, and she wipes our bulldog's butt! Not many people would do that with a smile but it was no big deal to Claire. She's fantastic and the dogs get excited when she pulls into the driveway! 5 stars for sure. You'll be glad you picked Claire. She's the best!”

20. Rona S.
“Rona has been taking care of my two rescue dogs (lab and pit bull mixes) for several years. My dogs love her so much! When I am away I never have to worry because I know they are receiving the same care and love that they are used to (dare I say more than they are used to)! When she arrives, it is complete bedlam as they don't leave her alone for a second. She takes them on wonderful walks, gives them special treats and genuinely loves spending time with them. She won't leave them alone for more than a few hours, despite my assurance that they would be ok. Whether it's volunteering at the shelter or walking/dogsitting, the dogs, and cats as well, instantly become a part of her family and life. Honestly, you will not find anyone who will take better care of your pets.”
