About: I have been around dogs since I was 3 years old. I have always had family dogs and recently lost my German Shepherd. I have pet sat for friends and family since I was in middle school. I work from home so I will be able to drop in multiple times throughout the day. I currently do not have kids so am very flexible with my time. I can stay overnight in your house with your animals and drop in multiple times a day. I have a lot of experience with strong dogs and enjoy taking dogs on adventures or just walks around the neighborhood.

“Shelby was fantastic and took good care of our two kitties! She made sure they had some playtime and was fed well. She also sent many photos and was a great communicator!”

About: This is our first time sitting for other pets but we would love to treat everyone’s pet with respect and spoil them with love and affection We both work full time but we are available to do boarding and drop in visits and any other service during work days. As in before and after work. While we both work full time we have different days off and different times we work so we can always be one of us available I stay at a apartment complex but we have a dog park and my dog is getting crate trained at the moment but she loves other animals and would love a friend for the day!
About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. Through this, I have developed a great love for animals. In addition to caring for my own family's pets, I started caring for our friends’ and neighbors’ pets from a young age. I am here to help out in any way that I can so that your pets always feel loved! I am currently residing in Pensacola but I work full time Monday through Friday in Gulf Breeze/Navarre. I do work full time two days in Navarre and three days in Gulf Breeze. I work in the school system and can be available anytime after 3:30 most days or early mornings. On the weekends I am much more open. I currently have a cat in my home so I only do housesitting, drop-ins, and walks at this time. I have recently moved to the Pensacola area. I mainly watch people’s pets in their home where I believe animals are most comfortable. I take notes and advice from owners seriously when it comes to their pets routines and behaviors.
“After my sitter cancelled on me the night before we left on our vacation that we already paid for Natalie came to the rescue! I was so thankful on such short notice. My pup was well cared for and I would definitely book with her again.”

“Heather was truly the best! She went well over and beyond for our dogs. She gave us detailed information each visit, and even cleaned up our floors because it had been raining and the dogs brought mud in. She showed true care and concern for our dogs, and we couldn’t be more thankful! Highly recommend her!”

About: Growing up I always had big dogs, and I currently have a pit mix and a chihuahua/dachshund mix. That being said, I am more than capable of wrangling your big dogs on a walk and handling any reactivity they might display. I’m also extremely comfortable with the little pups and their possible sass! I’m happy to take a nice, meandering walk with your senior dog or a run with your energetic puppy, and I will of course give them all the love and affectionate they could possibly want :) I also love cats and have experience watching both kittens and adult cats. I do work full time during the week, but I am available in the weekday evenings (around 4:30) and all day Saturday, Sunday, and some Fridays. Let me know your pet’s love language! Do they like long walks around the neighborhood? Snuggling on the couch? Perhaps a nice Kong full of peanut butter to wind down after a long day? Whatever your pet’s ideal day is, I will make it happen!
About: Taken care of dogs my whole life. Have played games from fetch to tug of war, as well as just one on one affection as each individual dog needed. Also have experience with many different types of brushes, harnesses and other equipment. Have dogs of my own so only available for dog walking and sitting in the dogs home. I am active duty on shore duty so I have more time than normal! I do work weekdays generally and am at work for up to 8 hours, so weekends are my prime but if those hours are ok weekdays may be considered as well. My home is currently unsuitable for services, however in the pets home I will play with the pet daily as the pet wishes, as well as offer daily walks, fresh water and feeding as directed. Very attentive to individual directions!
“Lilian took great care of Millie while we were gone for the day. She gave a detailed summary of her visit, included photos of their time together, and it was obvious Millie loved her visit. Our house was just as we left it. We will be using Lilian again.”

“Brittany is AMAZING! She went above and beyond to take care of my kitties and even my bonus outdoor kitty that had started showing up right before I left on my trip. Highly recommend!”

“Felicia was amazing!! God she did me such a tremendous request, looking after my cat last minute for a week, was so kind and patient with me as a new customer (and as someone who was a mess and under a lot of stress lmao); she is fantastic!! I would recommend her to anybody!! And my cat is in perfect health, happy, and taken care of!! If you want somebody professional while also courteous and thorough, Felicia is the gal!! Thanks again girl ;^D”

“Matt was fantastic. The dogs loved him right off the bat. He kept to the schedule I laid out and sent me progress reports and photos of the animals. He is the best dog sitter I have ever seen!”

“This was my 1st time with Rover. I was so impressed with Leticia’’s professionalism and care about my 2 kitties. I felt very reassured by the messages when she dropped by and short text conversations with we had then.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Ferry Pass
Loarann came for 2 drop in visits to get my dogs familiar with her before her house sitting for us. It went very well. Loarann is very punctual and took great notes to familiarize herself with our girls routine. She will b housesitting for us and I am already booking another stay.
Jeily worked with me ,Honey my heart had to be muzzled for the first couple visits. Jeily was informing me the whole week how my girl did. She consistency made it easier to know when she'd be there, made turning off alarms/unlock doors and breeze. Definitely will be contacting her next time.

10/10, great dog sitter. Had zero issues and received all the updates and pictures we wanted. Kelcie took the time to meet our dogs beforehand, handled our dogs’ medications, and was very easy to communicate with. I can’t recommend her enough other than to selfishly keep her open to provide for our own requested dates of service!!!

Jazlynn has looked after my cats for multiple trips and I have no reservations about leaving them in her care while I’m away! She is very communicative and reliable! The one time our schedules didn’t align, I was upset that I had to find someone else. 😂 She will continue to be my first choice whenever I travel.

I always had a great experience with Sami. She went above and beyond—cleaning up after my cat got sick and making sure everything was taken care of. It was clear she genuinely cares about cats and their well-being. I’d definitely trust her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and reliable sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
