“Sophia took wonderful care of our 3 fur-babies. We were kept up to date and provided lots of pictures while we traveled. She followed our care instructions perfectly and went above and beyond our expectations!!”

“Alyssa was flexible so she could make our schedule work, took great care of our kitties, and was responsive the whole time. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be requesting her services again in the future. Thanks!”

“Letticia was a wonderful dog and house sitter. She is very kind, a good communicator, a fabulous photographer (for real, got some great pics from her I'll probably frame haha) and went above & beyond to care for Sunny while we were away. I will definitely call her for our next trip.”

“Haley was phenomenal, she was punctual, communication was excellent and was engaged throughout the entire process. 10/10 would absolutely recommend for your fur babies.”

“Loarann was amazing!! This was my first time using in-home boarding so I was nervous but she was so sweet and so communicative. I never once had to worry or wonder what was going on which is huge for when you go on a trip that’s stressful enough! I honestly think she left the place better than she found it and was so kind about my house being kind of a sight these days because of renovations. She seems to truly love animals and I will 100% use her again in the future, no question.”
“Rona is incredible! She is truly an animal whisperer and will put your dog or cat needs above everything else, including her own. I trust her completely and look to her for advice to get to know my own dog better!”

“Claire was wonderful. She sent me great pictures everyday of my little girl Sadie. She paid so much attention to her and gave me updates on a regular basis. I will definitely request her again.”

“Murray was great. He dog sat my 2 big labs. One is elderly and needed special help and care and I almost didn’t go away for the night but Murray took great care of him. The other is a total spaz but he cared for both of them like I do. I would definitely use him again and recommend him for any dog sitting.”

“Matt is an incredibly kind and caring soul. He went above and beyond our expectations for a home/dog sitter. He was extremely communicative and accommodating. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a home or pet sitter. We will definitely book with him again in the future!”

“Renee sent great updates and loved my babies like her own! I was so lucky to have her so last minute on a holiday weekend but I could see from pictures how happy and safe they were with her!”

“Chelsea was phenomenal watching our two dogs while we went away for a weekend trip! From the moment we left, she went above and beyond—sending regular pictures and videos that gave us complete peace of mind and made us feel connected while we were away. She made sure our pups had everything they needed, stuck closely to their routines, and clearly treated them like her own. Her communication, attention to detail, and genuine care exceeded our expectations in every way. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing, reliable pet sitter. 11/10!”

About: I love any dog that crosses my path I have experience with lots of small dogs but also some very large dogs and am able to handle them both. I have experience with older dogs who may need more help with certain things but also the most energetic younger dogs who need to be played with and walked many times a day I am still a student athlete in college so I have classes and practices throughout the week but your pet will never be left alone for longer than about 2 hours at a time which will be a very rare occurrence, my classes end in April so ill have a lot more free time soon as well Making sure they are fed in a timely manner, I love playing with dogs so as long as they have energy ill be there to play with them, making sure they get walks and potty breaks often, and taking care of any special needs they might have that ive been made aware of.

About: Hi! My name is Lianna and caring for dogs is truly something I love. I have over 5 years of experience fostering and working with dogs, and I’m also comfortable with basic training and handling dogs with different personalities. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes—from tiny 5 lb pups to large 100+ lb dogs—and I’m comfortable with all breeds. Because of my fostering experience, I’m used to reading dog body language and helping dogs feel safe, calm, and comfortable in new environments. When your dog is with me they will get: • Lots of love and attention • Safe, attentive care • Plenty of playtime and potty breaks • A calm and comfortable environment I treat every dog like they are my own, and my goal is always to make sure both you and your pup feel happy and stress-free while you’re away. Your baby will be in caring and experienced hands with me! Since we recently moved here for my husband’s military assignment, I’m currently home full-time, which allows me to give dogs my full attention throughout the day. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine, and your pup will never feel like they’re being squeezed in between other commitments. I live in a large, dog-friendly two-bedroom apartment with a dog park right downstairs, as well as a large park and walking trail just up the street. This makes it easy to give dogs plenty of exercise, potty breaks, and fresh air. Throughout the day I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playtime, and (with your permission) trips to the dog park so they can burn off energy and have fun. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m able to provide consistent care, attention, and companionship, making sure your dog feels comfortable and happy while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. With over 5 years of experience fostering and working with dogs of all sizes and breeds, I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and making sure each dog feels calm and secure in a new environment. My home is a clean, calm, and pet-friendly space where dogs can relax and feel at home. I’m attentive about supervision, safe walks, and proper introductions with other dogs if we visit the dog park. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully—whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, training routines, or special needs. I also believe communication is important, so I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident and relaxed knowing your pup is in good hands.
About: I probably get along with dogs more than I do people. I've grown up with many, and have rescued most of the ones I have owned. Dogs are so much more than pets to me, they are family! They are such a big part of my life that I even went to school to become a vet assistant. However, life interfered and I never acquired my certificate (out of time frame, I passed my tests?). In the past two years, I’ve acquired my CCMA, and am studying now to become an RN. I love taking care of people and pets. :) I have experience pet sitting as well as working at a doggy daycare-one of my favorite jobs! Now I have bigger bills to pay, and children to take care of. However, I loved it so much that I would like to get back into doing this on the side. It’s a win-win for the both of us, because I get doggo lovings, and you get your doggo taken care of!
About: Whether you need someone to stop by for a mid-day play date or go for a nice walk, I’m your girl. I love animals. I’ve always connected with animals since a young age. I use to walk dogs on the Air Force base I grew up on during the summer for money to go to the pool. It was something that I truly enjoyed but couldn’t continue once I got into high school and started playing sports. I hope to use this opportunity to use what I enjoyed to my advantage and make some much needed extra income and maybe even turn it in to a lucrative business one day that I do with my family. My schedule is really flexible being a stay at home mom especially during the school year so I’m free during the day and in the evenings. I care for pets in any setting as if they were my own. Pets don’t only need water and food but some need a little attention and engagement.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind ever since I was 10. Family and friends have relied on me to do take care of their pets. I am currently off until July 20th. I go workout for 2 hours everyday, then I am home. I am willing to walk, feed, house sit, and even overnight board any dogs! I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs now. There is also a dog park in my neighborhood as well. I take my 2 dogs to the park almost every day.
Ferry Pass pet parents share their Rover experiences
Felicia was absolutely AMAZING! This was my first time leaving my one dog with a sitter and she was so kind and understanding. She sent pics throughout the day and stayed over a couple of nights to snuggle with my pups a little extra. Her rates are way lower than the work and love she puts in. Thank you, Felicia!

Loarann was so thorough and thoughtful in the care of our pup. She asked questions and took very detailed notes in our initial meeting. We received updates every morning and evening, in addition to multiple pictures. Would recommend Loarann if you're looking for a house sitter to take excellent care of your animals!
Matt was amazing!! Our baby wouldn’t eat when we left (he gets extremely sad when we leave), and he went out of his way to get our guy to eat! He went to the store and picked up different kinds of food, cooked him chicken and eggs, etc. And it worked! Our dog also requires a lot of medication and eyedrops, and Matt did all of it. Matt truly went above and beyond, and we know Porky was in such great, caring hands. We highly recommend Matt and will absolutely rebook him.

Dianne went above and beyond while pet and house sitting. We went out of town while our house just went on market and she was so flexible and accommodating while realtors and interested people came through. She left the house just as clean as when she arrived and sent us daily pictures of our dogs. Highly recommend her for pet and house sitting!
