“Reagan was great! We appreciated the detailed updates and pictures each visit with our kitty. She gave us amazing peace of mind while we were traveling during the holidays!”

“Brittany is AMAZING! She went above and beyond to take care of my kitties and even my bonus outdoor kitty that had started showing up right before I left on my trip. Highly recommend!”

About: I've always had pets and I grew up on a dairy farm. I've bottle fed calves and lambs, raised dogs and leash trained them, cared for horses, chickens, almost always had cats, and even kept pet rats! I worked at a dog kennel and groomer at one time briefly, although the environment of a kennel leaves much to be desired as animals kept as pets are best kept in a home environment where possible. My 20 years is just an estimate of collective time with animals really, I am 33 years old. I have commitments to my church every Wednesday and Saturday evening and Sunday mornings. But during the days and even after services I can make time for potty visits or litter care etc. I am courteous of others' belongings and if I am doing a house call I will be diligent to leave things in good order, even in an improved state if possible.
About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. Through this, I have developed a great love for animals. In addition to caring for my own family's pets, I started caring for our friends’ and neighbors’ pets from a young age. I am here to help out in any way that I can so that your pets always feel loved! I am currently residing in Pensacola but I work full time Monday through Friday in Gulf Breeze/Navarre. I do work full time two days in Navarre and three days in Gulf Breeze. I work in the school system and can be available anytime after 3:30 most days or early mornings. On the weekends I am much more open. I currently have a cat in my home so I only do housesitting, drop-ins, and walks at this time. I have recently moved to the Pensacola area. I mainly watch people’s pets in their home where I believe animals are most comfortable. I take notes and advice from owners seriously when it comes to their pets routines and behaviors.
“Savannah took great care of our two cats. She was in contact with us throughout our trip and we always got pictures! We felt so much better leaving our cats at home while we left knowing that they would get the best care possible.”

I am retired and have one furbaby, but I'm looking for ways to give back to the furry friend community and dogsitting is the perfect opportunity! I am excited to meet you and your pets! Let me know if your baby requires medication or a special diet. There is a large fenced-in back yard for your dog to roam and play.

I’m comfortable with basic training reinforcement, leash manners, and giving extra care to puppies or senior pets. Every visit is focused on fun, safety, and making pets feel comfortable. Hi! I’m a retired, high-energy animal lover with over 5 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, plus a lifetime of pet ownership. I currently have 3 dogs and 1 cat, so pets are a big part of my everyday life. I have flexible availability and enjoy staying active with walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I’m comfortable with puppies and kittens, senior pets, and giving medications, and I always follow routines closely. Currently unavailable the mornings of Tuesday and Thursday. I am able to take care of your fur baby the rest of the week, or come to your home. I have a large fenced yard and am close to the Hitzman Optimist Park for walks. The couch is fair game for your fur baby. If you prefer I can take your dog for walks at your house or simply "let them out".
About: Growing up, I was surrounded by animals—dogs, a cat, horses, a donkey, geese, chickens, goats, and more. I’ve always loved connecting with and caring for them! As an adult, I had my soul dog for 11 wonderful years; she was a beloved member of my family. Sadly, in 2024, we had to say goodbye to her. I truly understand the deep bond we share with our pets, and I’m passionate about providing safe, loving care for others' animals. I have experience with bathing, administering medications, and taking pets for walks - it's an honor to be entrusted with their care! I have flexibility with my employment - I am able to quickly swing by my home or yours throughout the day if needed as well as can offer boarding services for evenings or weekends. I tailor my care to the needs of each animal, as they all have their own personality and preferences! Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Brent
Loarann came for 2 drop in visits to get my dogs familiar with her before her house sitting for us. It went very well. Loarann is very punctual and took great notes to familiarize herself with our girls routine. She will b housesitting for us and I am already booking another stay.
Jazlynn has looked after my cats for multiple trips and I have no reservations about leaving them in her care while I’m away! She is very communicative and reliable! The one time our schedules didn’t align, I was upset that I had to find someone else. 😂 She will continue to be my first choice whenever I travel.

Miriah was absolutely AMAZING with our little kitten! She went above and beyond every step of the way, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in such great hands. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did and would recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing pet sitter. We can't wait to book with her again!

Sara is fantastic, she took care of our senior cat and provided us with detailed updates every day for an entire week. Even brought all our mail inside during the thunderstorms which was super sweet. I highly recommend her for taking care of your furry child and I'd definitely book with her in the future. Thanks so much, Sara!

Talia did great with my dogs again. She sent pictures and both dogs looked so happy. She was extremely flexible and allowed me to add another day. I appreciate her willingness to work with me and take the best care of my dogs. I will book her again when I leave in two weeks.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
