About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies who need training reinforcement to senior pets who require patience and gentle handling. As a veteran, I bring reliability, attention to detail, and calm leadership that animals naturally respond to. I’m comfortable administering basic medications, supporting senior dogs with mobility challenges, and keeping up with energetic pups who need exercise and structure. What sets me apart is consistency—you can count on me to be on time, communicate clearly, and treat every pet like family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I structure my days so I’m available for morning walks, midday drop-ins, and evening care. I'm home constantly, which allows me to focus on the needs of each pet. Whether it’s regular daily walks, weekend sitting, or last-minute bookings, I ensure pets receive consistent attention and care when their families are unable to be there. Safety and trust come first in every home I step into. In a client’s home, I respect their space and routines while making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I follow all instructions closely, from feeding schedules to walk routes, and I keep a close eye on doors, gates, and leashes to ensure pets stay safe. I provide plenty of positive attention, consistent communication with updates and photos, and a calm presence that helps pets feel secure. My goal is to give every family peace of mind knowing their pets are safe, happy, and treated like my own.

Kyle and Laura were great with my puppy! This was the first time I’ve been away from her since I brought her home and I felt at ease the whole time. Lots of picture updates, they are both very sweet & you can tell they have a love for animals. I will definitely use them when I need a sitter in the future.

About: I'm new to Rover but have spent my whole life as an animal lover. I am a conscientious and gentle person. I know how hard it can be when you're on vacation and your only choice is a kennel. I will make sure your pet has a great time and is comfortable with me. I've owned dogs since I was a kid and as soon as I turned 18 got one of my own and have cared for my dogs for the last 20 years. I currently have a schnoodle who's very sweet if you decide to board with me. I would separate him from your pet when I leave the house. I also have a two year old child and a six year old child but they are very gentle and love dogs. I am a stay at home mom so can take great care of your baby, giving frequent potty breaks and attention. I'm a stay at home mom so am home for a lot of the day. I can watch your dog every day of the week If I'm pet sitting at my home, I have a fenced in yard and can let your dog out every 2-4 hours. I could bring your dog on a walk every day around my neighborhood

Regina watched 2 of our boys. One of my poor boys had an upset stomach while with Regina (not of any fault of her’s, it was just sporadic), but she handled it like a champ. She made sure I stayed updated and that my boy stayed hydrated and well. They didn’t treat my other boy any less though, because he made sure he was also receiving enough love. She was great and I’d highly recommend her!

About: I have had pets my whole life and have always been the one to call to babysit my friends, family and neighborhood dogs and cats. I currently have a chocolate lab named Daisy and a Rescue lab mix named Buddy! I’ve been trusted to take care of all types of dogs and their needs. I’ve had the opportunity to care for an elderly blind boxer for a few years which required around the clock care. Making sure she was able to navigate through her home safely . I’m very comfortable with giving my undivided attention to any dog and their specific needs. I’m comfortable with taking dogs on long walks, playing with them to get their energy out, and giving any required medications I have just recently moved to Florida due to my husband’s job. In the meantime while I’m on the job hunt I’d love to care for your dog! I just moved to the area due to my husband being in the military and am currently looking for my full time job. So in the meantime when not searching for a job, I have plenty of time to take your dog(s) on walks and give them all the attention they need. I am free anytime of the day to take your dog on walks and or go visit and love on them while you are away. If your dog is staying overnight with me I have a 4 year old chocolate lab named Daisy, who is very playful and friendly. Daisy loves to play with other dogs. So your dog will not only get walk time, but have plenty of play time. Our yard is fenced in but I am always outside watching the dogs play.

Stephanie was absolutely fantastic with our sweet Bleuy! We were in town for the USSSA Baseball World Series and ended up needing a last minute sitter for our Bleuy. She spent a fun day relaxing and had the best time with Stephanie. Would highly recommend Stephanie and would definitely utilize her again should we find ourselves back in the Pensacola area.

I have never left my small dogs with anyone or a doggie day care before. I am so thankful I found Sherry and Ray. They totally made my dogs feel at home and was very communicative from the start. It was a pleasure to do a meet and greet before the big day and to see their lovely dog friendly home and fenced in backyard. My dogs had a blast and enjoyed playing and hanging out with the other dogs. I felt very calm leaving them for the day and was so excited to go pick them up. I would highly recommend to board your small dogs and they would be safe and in very good care.

About: Animals truly make my day! I’ve had dogs, cats, pigs, horses, cows — basically the whole farm — since I was little, so caring for animals is second nature to me. I’m currently a proud pup mom to a Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix, so I understand high energy, smart breeds, and the importance of structure and love. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet like my own — with lots of affection, playtime, and safe, dependable care. Whether your baby needs long walks, belly rubs, or just a calm, reassuring presence, I’m your girl! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m able to plan my day around walks, drop-ins, feeding schedules, and playtime without feeling rushed. Being home also means pets in my care get plenty of attention, supervision, and consistency throughout the day. Whether it’s a quick potty break, a midday walk, or overnight care, I can easily adjust my schedule to make sure each pet gets the time and love they deserve. I care for pets the same way I care for my own — with structure, attentiveness, and lots of love. In my home, pets receive a safe, clean, and calm environment with supervised playtime, regular potty breaks, walks, feeding on their normal schedule, and plenty of affection. I’m mindful of energy levels and personalities, whether they need extra exercise or a cozy, quiet space. In a client’s home, I prioritize keeping your pet’s routine consistent to reduce stress. I follow feeding instructions carefully, refresh water bowls, provide walks and enrichment, clean up after them, and give updates with photos so you feel connected and confident while you’re away. My goal is for your pet to feel secure, cared for, and completely at ease.

About: I have a variety of experience with different dogs and different animals from both owning and caring for others animals. I’m fairly active so I can both walk and run a dog. I just moved here with my husband who is in the military. Found myself stuck in the “don’t know what to do” phase of being a military wife. I have lots of time and looking forward to being helpful for others. I live in a large apartment and have two private dog parks in my complex. I have a large vehicle which allows for transportation of animals and kennels. I will walk/run dogs, go on adventures with them, cuddle, feed, brush, and just engage with them in whatever way is asked! I have great flexibility and can care for your animal with as much or as little instruction as you have.

Chandler was great with communication from first contact to schedule until I picked Clyde up. The pictures he sent Clyde looked happy and seemed to be having a good time(especially when he got to go for a ride!). When I picked Clyde up he seemed like he had a good time. I will be booking with Chandler again and would recommend him to anyone.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Pace commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 323 sitters in Pace, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
