“This was our first time leaving our dog Max with a sitter for a trip. It could not have gone better. Hollie kept us updated with texts and photos and it was obvious that our dog was getting loved and spoiled just as much as he does at home. We could not be more grateful that Max was in such good hands while we were away. I highly recommend Hollie to anyway looking for a safe happy to place to leave their puppers, and we will definitely use her again in the future! Thanks again to you and your family!”

“Chantal and her family were so sweet to our old man. Her puppy played well with him and he felt so comfortable! Chantal was kind, professional, and gave our furbaby lots of love! She is now our go-to dog sitter!”

“Sheila was awesome. She gave me great tips on potty training our 5 month old maltipoo puppy. She kept in touch and sent daily photos of Presley. I feel very comfortable with Sheila and will use her again and highly recommend her”

“Thank you so much for keeping Dakota you were great and made sure I was updated on how Dakota was doing during his stay I can tell he had a great time will book again with you in the future”

“Alex and Hana were awesome, penny had a great time! They sent lots of pics of her while I was gone, it’s clear that penny felt right at home with them. Thanks again guys, penny can’t wait to stay with you again!”

“I cannot recommend her enough!! Leaving my 9-week-old puppy with someone for the first time made me so nervous, but she completely exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment I dropped my puppy off, I felt 100% at ease. She provided constant updates, and photos which meant so much to me and really showed how much she genuinely cares. My puppy had the absolute best time playing with her resident dogs and was so happy, stimulated, and loved the entire stay. Honestly, I don’t even think my puppy wanted to leave! That alone says everything. It’s clear she creates such a safe, fun, and loving environment for the dogs in her care. It is such a relief to have found someone I fully trust, and I will absolutely be booking with her again. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, she is the one!”

“Ladeana took care of my baby. She gave him his medicine when due and he was well looked after. I knew he would be a handful, but she handled it! Would definitely use her services again.”

“Chloe was amazing! I was worried about leaving our puppy for the first time, but Chloe made the process so much easier. She is attentive, responsible, and caring and we will most definitely use her in the future. Champ loved his time at Chloe’s!!”

“Madison was an absolute rockstar with my 8 month old pup. She was kind, and extremely caring with Cali. She kept me updated on Cali daily - my little girl was BEAMING in every picture from ear-to-ear. Cali misses having a buddy like Roma to run around with for sure. In the future we will ABSOLUTELY be electing Madison’s services.”

About: I have had a deep passion for dogs since I was a young girl. My experience in dog care began in high school when I cared for a sick loved one’s dog. Over the course of that year, I not only gained a best friend but also developed a strong sense of responsibility and an appreciation for the joy and companionship that comes with caring for animals. Over the past 3–4 years, I have continued building my experience through dog sitting, and for the past two years, I have worked in a dog daycare and boarding facility. These experiences have strengthened my dedication to providing attentive, compassionate care while maintaining a safe and structured environment. I am committed to supporting both pets and their owners with reliability and professionalism. I’m available anytime after dropping my son off to school @8:30am. Or before/after picking him up from aftercare, by 5:30pm. I box on weekdays but can go around what ever is needed. At my home I have a fenced backyard, enough space to crate 1-3 dogs if need be. I want the dog to be as comfortable as possible, a home away from home. As for clients homes , they are to be treated with respect & cleanliness it is their safe space, same as my home.
“Jeanette and her husband were great with my two doggies! I got an update almost daily and pictures were sent as well. The two are super knowledgeable about k-9s and took perfect care of mine. I would recommend and plan to use again since my pup lab-pit is now the best of friends with hers!”

“Jordan was fantastic and took great care of my fur baby. My pup can be high maintenance, but Jordan was very good at attention to detail and great with interacting with her and sending photos.”

“Nicole was absolutely amazing! We booked her on short notice, and she was incredibly flexible and accommodating. Her home setup is perfect for pets, and she went above and beyond to make our boy feel comfortable, even letting him sleep in her bed like he does at home. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such great hands. We will definitely be using her again!”

“What a sweet family! The home is clean, Alison and the family are some of the sweetest, caring and most genuine people I’ve meet in a long time. We never once worried about our baby especially since Alison sent a few pictures throughout the stay. The kids loved our dog and played with him often. I bet our dog can’t wait for us to leave on another trip so he can return!”

About: I’m dependable, flexible, and understand that schedules can change unexpectedly. I have been a groomer the last 4 years and worked at a Vet clinic a year before that. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so I prioritize communication and frequent photo updates. I am new to the area so this is my full time job right now. I am available almost anytime i need to be, and am open to working around or changing schedules if it works better. I have a fenced in back yard, and can easily crate your pup if preferred. I do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible to keep them stress free.
“Luke and Signe treated my boy amazing! Sent daily updates with multiple pictures. It was so nice not having to worry about my dog. He was in such great hands! Would love to book again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Navarre
Jessica was great with our pup, Lucchese! She was very communicative, sent daily pictures, and even gave her a bath before we picked her up (a huge help for a doodle mom!). She was also understanding when I had to change our drop-off plans last minute. She's a great sitter to have on your roster!

She was fantastic! I received daily pictures of Neptune. It was our first trip without him so we were worried. About three days in, I knew he was in the best fancy he could be. Here yard and other dogs to play with. Bonus that he came home bathed and brushed. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I had an incredible experience with Stephen. From the very first contact, he was professional and quick to respond to my messages. While caring for my dog, he sent me daily updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. My dog was clean, well-fed, and very happy when I returned. I highly recommend his services—Stephen is trustworthy and truly treats pets as if they were his own.

What a beautiful family! I wanted my sweet deaf Ears to have a joyful time filled with stimulation, and oh he hardly wanted to come home! I couldn’t be more grateful to have found Elizabeth and Mickey and their adorable kids to love on Ears. He misses you already! Thank you!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
