“Christine came to the rescue on short notice to walk our foster dog while we were on vacation. She was patient, understanding and offered great care. Love the rover.com app and the report card feature! Christine clearly followed the protocol, gave informative daily feedback and put our concerns about leaving new foster pet at ease. Thanks Christine!”

“Thank you so much Jennifer! 5 stars! I am an anxious dog mom to a very anxious doodle, and it’s very hard for me to find people that I feel comfortable leaving my little fur baby with. But from the moment I started communicating with Jennifer through Rover, my anxieties were eased! Jennifer is kind, warm, and a very clear communicator! She was very gracious and non-judgmental too as I over explained and neurotically walked through Ruffles’ preferences and routines! I felt so at ease at work knowing she was taking care of my baby and didn’t even think twice! And her updates and pictures were always great and informative. It’s funny too how you just know when your dog likes someone, and I could tell he really felt comfortable with her! Can’t wait to book again for dog walking.”

“Stephanie has been so great with my dog Maya. After starting a new job and moving to a new city, I didn’t have any support to help with my dog. Stephanie has been so helpful with all these changes. Maya can be a bit nervous around new people but she warmed up to Stephanie really fast and gets so excited to see her! Stephanie is so great- she is a very reliable person, trustworthy, a great communicator and great with dogs. I’m so happy I found her and that Maya really enjoys her company!”

“Esteban is awesome! He takes good care of Sunny, my terrier puppy. And sends me lots of detailed updates and wonderful photos. Sunny seems very relaxed and happy after walks/hangs with Esteban. Thank you so very much for all that you do!”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life (plus horses, goats, cows, chickens, guinea pigs and hamsters). The last 20 years I have had Frenchies and English bulldogs. Along the way I have also had chihuahua's, Rottweilers, pits, cattle dogs, American bulldogs as well as a number of rescue cats. I've adopted many from shelters, however, several showed up on my porch and adopted me. I am currently available 24/7. I can watch dogs in your home or mine. I am available to walk them on a set schedule, which I do with my dog regularly. I currently have a French bulldog, our day consists of reward based training/walks, endless love, healthy treats, enrichment toys, and hikes. I would like to offer this to other pets as well. I am understanding of any dogs special needs or diets. We run a routine program as far as food, feeding time and exercise. I will only board your dog(s)/cat(s) along with mine. I do not double book as I want to keep everyone safe and comfortable.

About: Hi Paw-rents! Thanks so much for stopping by! I know how personal it is to choose someone to care for your beloved pet—and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is simple: to make sure your furry family member feels safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away, and that you feel completely at ease knowing they’re in great hands. I bring a calm, grounded presence to pet care, shaped by my background in social work and trauma-informed support. I understand how to meet each pet exactly where they are—whether they’re shy, high-energy, older, or need a little extra patience. I move at their pace, tune into their cues, and make sure they feel secure every step of the way. In my free time you’ll find me outdoors hiking, exploring national parks, or walking my sweet dog Zuri and exploring dog heaven at Fort Funston Beach. Zuri is incredibly gentle, and we love hosting dog friends at our peaceful, pet-friendly home. You can count on me for: Thoughtful, loving, and responsible care Clear, consistent communication A calm, structured environment your pet can settle into If you're looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in your pet’s well-being—I’d love to connect. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! I'm currently working part-time, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pet the attention they deserve. I’m available for boarding, daycare, and drop-ins—mornings and afternoons or evenings Wednesday through Sunday. Whether your pup needs a playful day or a cozy overnight stay, I’ve got you covered! A Typical Day with Me I love spending time outdoors, so your pup and I will enjoy walks exploring the neighborhood and sniffing new scents. With your approval, I’ll offer healthy treats to keep things fun. We might visit the dog park for some social time, then relax with sunbathing or quiet rest. At home, your dog can play with my gentle pup Zuri—or I’m happy to keep them separate if needed. Since I work part-time, I have plenty of time to be fully present and give your pet all the love and attention they deserve. I truly enjoy building bonds with every dog I care for—it’s one of my favorite parts of this work!

About: I’ve always loved animals- growing up I had both cats and dogs, and currently have a senior cat of my own. I also foster dogs of all breeds, personalities, and needs through a local shelter. I’ve pet-sat both in my home, and in others’ homes, throughout my life, and have experience caring for animals post-op, with semi-complex medical needs, and basic training techniques, using positive reinforcement and praise. With your pets in my care, I can assure you that they will get all the love and attention that they deserve, everything that they need, and from day 1 they will be cared for as if they were my own. I am available for overnight care in your home, drop-in walks/ play-time/ potty breaks, and daycare in your home. Unfortunately, am not available for boarding or daycare in my home. However, I’m more than happy to take your pet on a day-long outing out in nature, or around the city. I am available for recurring walks, drop-ins, house sits, and one-off bookings on an as-needed basis, with a minimum of 48 hours notice ahead of time. My goal is to always fit seamlessly into your and your pet’s life, but due to pre-existing commitments, I can’t accommodate on-demand services. Every pet I take on, I care for as if they are my own. I strive to provide consistent communication about how they’re doing, what activities we engaged in during our time together, and am mindful to tailor my communication to your needs, so frequency of communication that meets your specific needs will be discussed at our meet and greet. Any concerns that I may have about your pet will be communicated promptly.

“Jacqueline was so fantastic with Rufus! She was comfortable with my giant puppy, was helpful in reinforcing training with him, and was very easy to communicate with. She was a wonderful dog walker. I would ABSOLUTELY hire her over and over!”

About: Dog has always been a big part of my life. I have experiences in potty training, dog walking (small and big), and I love teaching them to do tricks! I'm currently free most of my weekdays as I'm still looking for full-time job. I would like to spend time with some furry friends in between my job search schedule. I would mostly do the same routine as the owner would do when they're home. I will feed them based on their schedule, teaching some tricks, and give them some nap time.

“Tea has been an amazing dog sitter for us! She’s always punctual, sends great photos and detailed updates, and truly cares for our pups. Today, she went above and beyond by accommodating a last-minute request.”

“Jay is the best with my two pups! super accommodating with my odd schedule, communicative and gets the best photos of them having a good time. Having jay has been a life saver for when I have to be in the office!”

About: Friends and family say I have a sixth sense with dogs—able to understand their needs just by looking at them! Whether they crave outdoor adventures or a peaceful, cozy environment, I easily adapt to each pup’s unique personality. My own little nugget crossed the rainbow bridge in January 2025, after a life filled with snuggles, treats, and epic adventures. I now channel that same devotion into caring for your pet, aiming to become their second-favorite human while you're away. I currently work from home as a freelancer. My schedule is extremely flexible so I am able to go for walks during the day and provide boarding during the weekdays. At one time, I've cared for four dogs and a cat, of which included two large dogs. However, now that I am in a smaller space, I want to ensure that every pet feels safe and loved and plan to keep the group small. I have an enclosed back patio with lots of sunlight and also live right next to a park so your furry friend can enjoy outside adventures if they like to!

About: You can count on me for your pet's timely feeds, enriching play, attentive snuggles, and mess clean-up. Pets are like family, and it's important they receive the care they deserve. I am currently enrolled in school to study for my degree, your business will help pay for my future! I make sure to keep your pets needs centered during my time with them, and will balance coursework with pet sitting. If my living space isn't organized, my mind isn't. Cleanliness is that important to me. I will keep your place tidy and make sure to leave it the same way you left it. If you have specific care instructions for your pet and home, please over-communicate to me and I will work with you to uphold those standards.

“Lilly did a great job walking my jumpy, nervous, skidding dog. It took a while to warm up to her, but by the end, she was eating treats off her hand. So proud of my dog! And Lilly too for being so patient. Looking forward to using Lilly again!”

About: Since 2022 I’ve had 2 dogs and 3 cats. Never did I think I’d be an animal mom. My babies have helped me tremendously with my mental health. I’m so grateful to be able to open my home and heart for more furry friends. I’m a stay at home wife. I left my job in April to focus on myself & my health. School starts in August (online courses), so working on my permit so I can continue to teach. My days look the same, lots of snuggles with my babies, walks along the marina, snacking together. I’m very much a homebody, now that I have a dog Im trying to get out more and be “social” lol. My babies have free range in our home. They are allowed anywhere in the apartment. Most of the time we are in bed watching the office or friends. There is an abundance of snacks and toys, dad spoils them the most. For the most part it’s pretty quiet and cozy and we have an abundance of space for more fur babes.

About: I had a full grown cat in my crib as a baby, my parent's told me I would feed it my bottle. I moved to SC to live with my grandmother when I was young. She was a nurse and spent a lot of time helping the local animal shelter. At most, 20 kittens or puppies would be at her house. Usually the animals were malnourished or sick, she would try to get them healthy enough to adopt. That's probably why I love cats and dogs as much as I do. I've adopted 2 dogs, 1 cat from the humane society as an adult. The first dog I adopted was a feral puppy, I adopted him bc I wanted to see why my grandmother never would allow feral animals in her home. I had him for 14 wonderful years but it did take a lot of training and patience. The last dog I owned was a 1 year old pit from a kill shelter. I was able to train this dog not to bite and protect it's owner without biting. I love pets, I know more than your regular person on what types of food/treats to give a dog. For example, if your dog eats a couple pecans, that's bad news. I also know people can be very particular of what they want their animals eating, even if it's a treat. I'd never give someone else's pet a treat without their consent. My job revolves around fixing coffee machines and that business isn't as busy as it used to be prior to the pandemic. I have plenty of free time and I understand how important a routine is in young dogs/cats and I'm willing to help out in any way I possibly can. Currently my roommate has a dog that isn't friendly around other dogs, it's a 9 year old Shiba, and I've learned those breeds are some of the most stubborn dogs. I feed this dog, wash her, and trim du claws and nails. When my roommate is out of town, I let the dog sleep in my bed even though I can't stand how much she sheds. I have a clean background, I've never been in trouble for stealing bc my parents brought me up not to do that. Prior to moving out to CA to work on coffee machines, I spent 17 year's working for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage department. I didn't love my job which is why I'm out here now. My roommate I've known since high school, he'll confirm you won't have to worry when you're out of town.

Chelsea E.
“Between Chelsea’s meticulous attention to detail and her love for pups and all things with toe beans and fur, she is the perfect person to trust your beloved four-legged friend with. She has a knack for reading a dog’s body language, understanding the way a dog/dogs process and deal with their surroundings and stimulus, and for making a dog feel extra loved and special. Chelsea will let your dog sniff every single rock and blade of grass on their walk, as well as make sure they stay hydrated and don’t get too hot in the Florida sun. Trust your pups with Chelsea.”

Elizabeth L.
“If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, Elizabeth is the one! Elizabeth cares about dogs as much as she cares for her own loved ones. She’s incredibly attentive to every detail — from nutrition and health to daily exercise routines and emotional well-being. You can tell right away that she genuinely loves what she does. As a guest, I felt completely at ease. Elizabeth was so trustworthy, accommodating, flexible, and truly collaborative in finding the best setup for my pup’s specific needs. Whether it was feeding preferences, exercise routines, or special instructions, she went above and beyond — every single time. 100000% recommend Elizabeth! Your dog will be in the most caring, responsible, and loving hands imaginable.”

Kirstyn T.
“Kirstyn has helped pet sit for me and my partner several times and has been a wonderful caregiver to our partially blind, senior cat, Liam, whenever we have had to be out of town for a few days. She is very attentive to the details of his care that are important to us including his feeding schedule/portions and litter box maintenance as well as play and enrichment. She makes sure to arrive according to schedule to ensure that Liam’s routine is maintained with consistency and without disruption. She also makes sure to spend lots of time playing and snuggling with Liam and giving him lots of love and attention. She is very communicative while pet sitting, sending photos and updates to provide us peace of mind while we are away. Kirstyn is a very reliable and loving pet caregiver and has always proven that we can trust her fully with Liam.”

Brook Lyn M.

“Brook Lyn has been taking great care of our dog!! She is excellent at communicating with us. Our dog seems very happy and is being well taken care of!”

Monica G.
“Monica is a lover of all animals and shows individual attention and care towards your pet. She is attentive to their needs--both young and old--knowing what questions to ask and what to be aware of for your pet. She is also very communicative, keeping you informed with how your pet is doing when you are away which is reassuring that your animal is getting the care it needs! Also, I appreciate Monica's observance in your animal's behavior and if anything seems out of the norm, she will let you know. It is evident that her background in human behavior translates with animals as well, being attentive on how they act and behave in their environment and adjusting accordingly based on their needs. She gives her energy and love when taking care of your babies which is why I recommend her for any animal care services.”
