About: I have always had dogs and can't imagine my life without them. I have a special love for large dogs and currently have a 6 month old Great Dane. I have raised and loved several other dogs throughout my life including Great Danes, German Shepherds, and a Rottweiler. I would be grateful for the opportunity to share my love with your fur baby, large or small. I currently work from home and I am available Monday through Saturday from 7:00am to 7:00pm. I have a Great Dane puppy so pet care in my home is around the clock. I have a large fenced backyard and climate controlled basement along with an active Great Dane puppy to keep your fur baby company. Every day will include outdoor play, weather permitting, and indoor activities catered to your pet.
“Another paw-tastic 5 overnight stay with Miss Lauren. I love that Cole (Lauren’s husband) is there for my pup too, as my sweet boy loves humans! Thank you both again for all that you do to make me feel comfortable leaving my fur baby with y’all.”

“Summer was great -- so reliable and responsive! We were visiting relatives for a football game at Clemson and we had our dog in tow. Summer watched our dog for the whole afternoon and was very understanding about the late evening pick up, given how long night football games can go. Summer sent photos and took great care of our guy, and he seemed really comfortable with her. Definitely would recommend her!”

“The best! She comes and picks up the pooches in her doggie bus and send us pictures of them having the best time! She even made sure our doggy got his medicine. We are so grateful for Sara!”

“Fabienne was fantastic with my Ginny girl! She sent lots of updates and pictures so I could follow along. Very good communication and she is very sweet and caring. Will definitely use again!!”

“Rebecca is absolutely AMAZING! She took such great care of my sweet Etta and sent tons of adorable photos of her playing with the other dogs—Etta looked like she was having the time of her life. She even ate really well, which is rare when she’s away from home. Honestly, I’m a little embarrassed to admit that Etta seemed sad to leave all her new friends and come home to just me, haha! Rebecca is incredibly communicative, her home is spotless, and Etta smelled so good when she came back—I genuinely thought she had been given a bath, but it turns out that was just the lovely scent of Rebecca’s home. Also, her partner is just as kind and welcoming, which made me feel even more at ease. I truly can’t recommend Rebecca enough. She’s the best!”

“Our first time using Rover and Lauren made it seamless and easy. Loved the meet and greet to ensure everyone was compatible. Very fast communication and I felt very safe and confident in our puppy staying with Lauren and her family. Highly recommend.”

“Shayne was an amazing hostess to my boy Kai. Lord of pictures and Shayne was super friendly! I had no worries leaving him and I know he enjoyed his time with them!”

“My two boys loved staying at Amber‘s!! We had to find someone to watch our boys for two weeks while we were in Europe at the last minute because their regular sitter had a medical emergency. So glad to have found Amber. They had the best time there!!”

“This was my first time using Rover and Jennifer’s service was awesome! She agreed to watch him at last minute’s notice. I love her backyard playground for the fur babies. The pics she sent helped me feel comfortable and secure leaving JB in her care. I would definitely use her services again!”

Our schedule is pretty flexible. One of us is typically home allowing for consistent supervision, outdoor breaks, feeding schedule and lots of interaction and care. We have a fenced yard and a female boxer who loves all dogs. Our dog is always supervised outside. We create a stress- free environment with regular potty breaks and lots of love to help your dog feel right at home.
“Very pleased with her services. My dog was able to get daily play sessions in the yard, and she frequently sent photos and videos showing how my dog was doing. Getting those updates really set my mind at ease about how my dog was doing.”

“Everyday Kelly made our trip that much better with pictures and updates for our little guy. It almost seemed like he had a better vacation than we did! Kelly was amazing throughout the whole week and would recommend her over and over.”

“Mary took great care of my dog while we went on a weekend trip. She sent pictures and updates about how my dog, Sunny, was doing. Sunny enjoyed being in their beautiful back yard, going on walks, and playing with Mary's other guest dog. While we were out of town, Mary made sure that Sunny got her medicine, was exercised, and spoiled with attention. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an dog sitter in the Greenville area.”

“Margery (and her pup Chica) are the absolute best!! My dog stayed with them for 8 days, the longest I had ever been away from her. I felt no mom guilt, I knew she was having the best time while I was gone! Margery sent pictures and updates every day, which I absolutely loved. And I could tell she treated my little lady as one of her own. I highly recommend her for any dog sitting needs!”

“Ann and Thomas are awesome! They took care of my baby so well! He had never been away from me not one night in his life. They kept in contact. I got pictures and videos everyday. They would call or FaceTime me. I was very anxious they put me at ease. When he wouldn’t eat Mrs. Ann went as far as to hand feed him ??. It worked. So he did fine after that. I enjoyed my trip knowing he was good. Thank you so much for your wonderful care of my baby!! Cotton loves them as well!!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pendleton
She was absolutely wonderful with my 2 fur babies. Patient, professional and so understanding. Especially our weenie baby Muffin is so iffy with strangers. I felt at ease leaving my dogs with Stephanie. And will be using her again for sure! Sent plenty of update texts and photos which I truly appreciate it to make sure they are well taken care of. Thank you again!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
