“Hallie was amazing and so accommodating! I realized last minute I had scheduled for the wrong dates and she was able to take it on no problem. very quick responses and my cats were well taken care of!”

“Bottom line: Kenna is fantastic and I highly recommend her. She very responsive and accommodating throughout the entire process and it was easy to quickly ascertain in our first meeting that she was mature, responsible, and professional. She was especially helpful to me as I needed her to drop in twice in the same day to let my pups out and feed them. She was on-time for both visits and sent photos while she was here. Oh, and they loved her as well. I absolutely will not hesitate to entrust my pups to Kenna in the future.”
“Leigh went above and beyond on managing our in-home kennel. She was everything we needed in a pet sitter and more. Responsive, gracious, generous, and kind— highly recommend.”

“Shirley is an amazing sitter! One of the more thoughtful ones we’ve had based on the questions she asked. My dog did incredibly well under her care and we will certainly book with her again!”

“Alaina was amazing with my cat, Bitty! She was quick to respond and very thorough in making sure she understood all of Bitty’s needs. She sent great pictures and kept me updated on her visits, which gave me so much peace of mind. 10/10 would absolutely recommend her!”

“Jayda did a wonderful job following the instructions given and getting our baby to warm up to her! Xion is a little skittish at first with strangers in the home but Jayda's calm and gentle nature helped a lot :) She did a great job!”

“Lauren went above and beyond what we expected out of a dog sitter. She took photos, played and did tricks with Bruce. He has bad separation anxiety from his dad and Lauren did a great job being patient with him until he warmed up to her. Now Bruce loves her and we will continue to use her in the future!”

About: Before I moved to College of Charleston I pet sat around my neighborhood for around 2 years. I also have 4 dogs at home including a foster dog currently and would love to meet y'all's furry friends because I don’t have an animal in my dorm currently! I can walk your doggies pretty much any time except for Wednesday's and Sunday's! typically on weekdays it’s after 12pm, and on Saturdays it’s all day! I take care of my animals with love. sticking to their schedule while involving the upmost playfulness and kindness. I will clean up after them, and like i would with my own dogs and cats put their safety and health first. If there was ever something to happen, immediately calling their owner and sticking by their 4 legged side!
About: I have a Bachelor's degree in Zoology, and Associates degree in Science and have cared for other peoples pets since I was 17 (August, 3 2026 I'll be 22) besides caring for my parents dogs and cats. I have expireance with special care needs like diabetic pets who need to be given insulin shots, elderly dogs with oral pills they would rather not take, and bouncing puppies who need to let out alot of energy. I also have owned many animals since I was little with minimal parental help. These animals include dogs, cats, snakes, mice, rats, fish, birds, spiders, and frogs. I have experience in highschool vet care and college lab and field experience in herpetology, ornithology, and ictheology. Your fur babies will love spending their time with me when you can't be there. I just graduated college and would love to make money doing somthing I'm good at; careing for animals. Since I just graduated and don't have another job currently I'm free at most times and would love to be of service to you. I will give my undivided attention to make sure your animal is happy and well cared for. I can take your dog to the dog park, and if you want I can bring my dog over for them to play. Dog/cat's needs and feed schedules can be precise. When I was caring for my aunts Diabetic cat I had to feed half of a 1/4 cup give him his insulin shot then feed the other half, this had to happen at 6am and 6pm exactly. The shot had to go into his opposite hip every time (left morning, right afternoon). I hope to offer your pet similarly the best care imaginable.

“This was our family's first time having a dog sitter, Reagan kept us well inform with updates and plenty of pictures that helped keep our mind at ease. She was there in the morning to give them breakfast, played fetch with them on as often as the weather aloud, and was very patient and kind with both the dogs and us.”

“Samantha and Max did an excellent job with our pups. We have two rescue dogs, one of which is afraid of new people. Because of this, we were concerned about leaving him for the first time with someone new. Samantha and Max assured us that they would be able to handle him and they were amazing with him. They were even able to get a leash on him to take him outside, despite his usual timid behavior. They followed our detailed instructions perfectly and were very patient and kind with our dogs. After the visit they sent several pictures so that we had peace of mind that the pups were okay. We will absolutely use them again.”

“Alyssa took such a great care of our cat. She always took pictures and was sending videos! Quick responding and easy to get in touch with. She always left a not with everything that she did. Definitely would’ve picked her again!”

I’m Marina, a Clemson student with a lifelong love for animals and 8 years of professional pet sitting experience. I began caring for pets at a young age when my aunt brought home her dog, and I also grew up with a cockatiel, which helped build my comfort with birds and other unique pets. I am very organized and super accommodating, and I will truly treat each pet like my very own! I am currently a student at Clemson with a part-time job, but I truly value schedule and routine. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pendleton. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
