About: I have grown up with pets my whole life. I started petsitting at 13 and have experience with puppies, seniors, and administering medications. I have experience working as a veterinary assistant as well! I am a sophomore at Clemson University, and I’m majoring in Animal and Veterinary Science! About: I have always grown up with pets: 3 dogs, 1 cat, and a beared dragon. I have helped train a puppy, cared for a dying senior dog, and everything in between. “Lauren has been an absolute blessing to me and my golden retriever Cassidy. Lauren stepped in on short notice when one of my regular walkers had a schedule change so I needed someone quickly. Lauren had sat for one of my walkers and came highly recommended and she has met and exceeded all expectations with my doggie. Cassidy is 3 and has always been a thinker and takes time to do anything new especially with people who are not her daddy! Obviously I know my dog and Lauren wanted to know as much as I was willing to share about Cassidy to make her experience as fun as she could. She truly wanted to know all about her and when her first day came it showed in her getting Cassidy out on day one and taking a walk! By day two she had Cassidy sitting so pretty and rewarding her for making it around the whole neighborhood! I’ve had at least 5 other walkers who simply would say day after day she just doesn’t like to walk. She loves her walks, it just takes a person willing to gain her trust gradually and once you do you have a friend for life and Lauren has made one and I’m very grateful to her for the dedication she puts into being a dog Walker. About: I've run a dog rescue that placed 1000+ dogs in new homes in 3 years, worked as a live-in animal care taker at a dog and cat boarding facility, and trained several service dogs for a national service dog organization. I've had dogs and cats of my own for over 20 years, and am often the person's friends and family call when they have a dog/cat question instead of google. I've seen and done it all, which means I know how to manage a wide variety of dogs and cats (and more) with all their personalities and quirks. I work full time, but with pretty flexible hours with enough heads-up. I have dogs and cats of my own, so I already have an easy routine of caring for them and it's quite easy to add another. I move my work schedule around to maximize the best times for hikes/outside time for the dogs depending on the weather. I try to take at least one of my dogs for hikes at the Clemson Experimental Forest 2-3x a week. I have a fenced yard with a small (fully enclosed and secure) chicken run. Any visiting dogs would have supervised time to play in the yard or the fenced back deck several times a day. I have 3 friendly dogs who would love to play or just hang out, or can be kept fully separate from any visitor if the visitor needs their space. They are used to mixing or staying separate from any visiting dogs/cats. I also have two cats who are dog friendly, or remain completely upstairs to themselves if any visitors aren't cat friendly. Visiting pets are setup in my home office with a crate of their own (if needed), plenty of windows, and room to play or bed to nap on.

About: I personally have had pets my whole life and love interacting and learning their behaviors. I love the company of a pet and will definitely adjust to what ever needs are needed for your specific pet! I currently go to Clemson University, studying biology. With that my weekdays are pretty packed, but Friday, Saturday, and Sundays are free for me! On Mondays and Wednesday, I end class at 2 PM so definitely have time from 2 PM to the next day until 10 AM. I will adjust myself based on your pets needs! About: I have a Bachelor's degree in Zoology, and Associates degree in Science and have cared for other peoples pets since I was 17 (August, 3 2026 I'll be 22) besides caring for my parents dogs and cats. I will give my undivided attention to make sure your animal is happy and well cared for. I can take your dog to the dog park, and if you want I can bring my dog over for them to play. Dog/cat's needs and feed schedules can be precise. When I was caring for my aunts Diabetic cat I had to feed half of a 1/4 cup give him his insulin shot then feed the other half, this had to happen at 6am and 6pm exactly. The shot had to go into his opposite hip every time (left morning, right afternoon). I hope to offer your pet similarly the best care imaginable.
