“We LOVE Gracie! This was our first time ever having a house sitter for our dogs and she did amazing! She kept us updated with pictures of our babies and constantly let me knew how they were doing! Will be rebooking in the future!”

“Jayda D sent daily pics and took wonderful care of our fur baby and our home. Walking through the front door after vacation in to a clean house with a happy, healthy pup was such a relief. Thank you Jayda.”

“I feel complete trust in placing my pup, Callie, in Marina’s care. She is caring, responsible, and makes sure that the time spent with Callie is filled with play, walks, and cuddles. Her gentle greeting endeared her to Callie immediately. I plan to use her whenever needed in the future.”

About: I grew up on a farm with experience taking care of all kinds of animals and have had more dogs than I can count (mostly chocolate labs). I’ve been pet sitting/house sitting since middle school for family and friends, so I am very comfortable with the responsibilities it requires. I’m a student at Clemson and will be in the area this summer working a remote job. I am willing to stay with your pets throughout the day while I work to play with them and take them on walks, so they aren’t cooped up in a kennel all day! I try to make sure that the pets feel comfortable by keeping the routines they usually have as far as feeding and outside time goes. I know that when owners are gone, it can be confusing for pets, so maintaining a routine is a great way to help them feel safe.
“Olivia is a wonderful pet/house sitter. She goes above and beyond when she is with my 1 dog and 2 cats. My dog was recently sick, and she has helped by cooking his food and being on top of his new diet. She always sends pictures and stays in touch when she is sitting. I trust her completely and I am grateful to have found her here on Rover.”

“Michael was absolutely great with Leo. We got loads of photos while we were away. Michael was very accommodating to our last minute request and our home was spotless when we returned. We were able to relax completely knowing Leo was safe and happy and getting loads of cuddles. Thanks Michael!”

“Brianna was prompt and consistent on caring for my various critters, including my Pyrenees dogs, ancient cats, chickens, and a pigeon. And good about communicating / asking any questions. I’ll be giving her a call the next time I go out of town. :)”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities and needs! I’ve helped raise and train puppies, so I’m comfortable reinforcing routines and handling high-energy dogs. I also adopted an anxious rescue dog from a shelter and fostered 3 shelter dogs, which taught me a lot about patience, reading behavior, and helping dogs feel safe and comfortable in new environments. I’m dependable, attentive, and flexible with scheduling, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog. I know every dog is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each one happy, whether that’s long walks, playtime, or just having someone calm and comforting around! I’ll care for your dog like they’re my own and make sure you feel updated and reassured while you’re away with plenty of photos and communication. My schedule is currently very flexible as a Clemson graduate and nursing assistant, which allows me to accommodate weekday and weekend bookings. I’m able to adjust my routine around pet care needs, including morning, midday, and evening visits or walks. I’m reliable with timing and will make sure your dog’s routine is followed consistently so they feel comfortable and cared for. I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and trusting environment for every dog I care for. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walk preferences, and any special instructions. I’m attentive to behavior and comfort levels, especially for anxious dogs or pets adjusting to a new person. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space and make sure everything is left clean and secure. My goal is always to make your dog feel safe, understood, and cared for like they’re my own.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and caring for them has always been a big part of my life that I’m so lucky to have. I’ve had four cats over the years and currently have two at home when I’m not at college, so I’m very used to different personalities, responsibilities, and giving them the attention they need. Last fall, my roommates and I fostered two puppies for two months, which was such a great experience. It taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and working with puppies with lots of energy, which I wasn’t used to before. I’ve also been dog walking for my neighbors since middle school, so I have a lot of experience walking different types of dogs. Caring for other people’s pets means a lot to me, and I take the responsibility seriously as I would want someone to do the same for me. I’m a full time nursing student, but I’d love to spend the free time that I have with your pets! Monday, Thursday and Friday I am gone from 5:30 am-5:30 pm, but can help out before or after those times. Tuesday I’m gone from 7 am-5:15 pm. Wednesdays I’m done early and am home by 12:30! Weekends I have full availability! Some weeks the hours are slightly different depending on my lab and clinical times so please reach out! I live in an apartment so I don’t plan to take the pets back to my home. For dog walking, I will make sure they get an adequate distance in and plenty of exercise. I love being outside and getting fresh air so this is a win win for me! I can try to stick to their usual walking schedule as best as I can. I am able to walk in your neighborhood or go to a place you typically walk with them! For drop ins, I will make sure they have a clean area to be in, and get some energy out playing and being able to go to the bathroom. They will get plenty of attention! For house sitting, I will try to keep them on their usual schedule per your instructions and be able to spend quality time with them to keep them relaxed and happy while you’re away. For any of the services, I prioritize making sure the pet is cared for thoroughly.
“Unfortunately our trip got cut short, but Austyn was very attentive and quick to respond to messages. She even made time to come meet our dog at our home before booking, which was a relief! I could tell that Austyn was very comfortable around our larger (and sometimes rambunctious) dog and had plenty of experience caring for dogs.”

About: I dog sit frequently and therefore have been exposed to a variety of different ages, breeds, and temperaments. I feel very comfortable around dogs and am competent at reading their behavior. I also have previous experience volunteering at a shelter and grew up with 2 family dogs. I currently am in graduate school for Physical Therapy at MUSC, so I have a consistent weekly class schedule, but have evenings and weekends available for your pups! I care for pets by prioritizing consistency, safety, and clear communication with the owner. In both my home and a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible—this includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any specific instructions the owner provides. In a client’s home, I make sure the pet stays comfortable in their familiar environment while also keeping the space clean and secure. I provide regular updates with photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away.
About: I have a Bachelor's degree in Zoology, and Associates degree in Science and have cared for other peoples pets since I was 17 (August, 3 2026 I'll be 22) besides caring for my parents dogs and cats. I have expireance with special care needs like diabetic pets who need to be given insulin shots, elderly dogs with oral pills they would rather not take, and bouncing puppies who need to let out alot of energy. I also have owned many animals since I was little with minimal parental help. These animals include dogs, cats, snakes, mice, rats, fish, birds, spiders, and frogs. I have experience in highschool vet care and college lab and field experience in herpetology, ornithology, and ictheology. Your fur babies will love spending their time with me when you can't be there. I just graduated college and would love to make money doing somthing I'm good at; careing for animals. Since I just graduated and don't have another job currently I'm free at most times and would love to be of service to you. I will give my undivided attention to make sure your animal is happy and well cared for. I can take your dog to the dog park, and if you want I can bring my dog over for them to play. Dog/cat's needs and feed schedules can be precise. When I was caring for my aunts Diabetic cat I had to feed half of a 1/4 cup give him his insulin shot then feed the other half, this had to happen at 6am and 6pm exactly. The shot had to go into his opposite hip every time (left morning, right afternoon). I hope to offer your pet similarly the best care imaginable.

Clemson pet parents share their Rover experiences
My wife and I have 5 rescue dogs ranging from large to tiny, senior to puppies. Needless to say we were anxious about going out of town for five days. That was until we met Stacie S. All of our pups took to her immediately, as did we. She is very comfortable around dogs since she has two of her own. Stacy didn't hesitate at all about caring for our pack and their individual needs, from dispensing specific medications, to paying special attention to the puppies as they navigated our fenced yard. She stayed in close contact with us including daily updates and sent terrific photos of our dogs often sitting in her lap or going about their daily routines. She went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations, allowing us to focus on our family gathering rather than wondering if the dogs we're being properly attended to. We look forward to having Stacy care for our pups again. We would highly recommend her.

Super sweet and such a pleasure to work with! She kept me updated on when she was heading over and even arrived 10 minutes early, which I really appreciated. Communication was excellent the entire time, and she sent me a video of my pups while I was away, which gave me so much peace of mind. She was responsible, thoughtful, and even brought her own food (even though I told her to make herself at home). I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring. 🐾💛

Superb! After having a good experience with Samantha for drop-ins during a previous trip, I booked her for house and cat sitting over Christmas. Judging by her photos, the cats had a wonderful time. She left my house in tip-top shape, so nice to come home to after a long travel day. Absolutely will book again!

What can I say? Gabriella is a great pet sitter. Our dogs were very comfortable with her on the first meet and greet. She was very communicative during our whole time she sat our pets. We have 3 large dogs and a bird. All were well taken care of. Gabriella sent daily updates, pics , and some videos. Would definitely rebook and recommend to anyone.
