“Hallie dropped in to check on Layla while I was away for a long afternoon. She sent pics of Layla and encouraged her to go outside for a little break.....however, in the 97* heat Layla didn't want to go.:-). Hallie was given some directions on how to access the house and she found everything easily. She has a kind personality and I will definitely use her the next time I need pet help.”

“Cathy went above and beyond taking care of one very social and one a hesitantly social cat. Daily pics were reassuring that Pinto and TT were being taken care of. Our family appreciates Cathy and her professionalism. Will use her again and again.”

“Jayda did a wonderful job following the instructions given and getting our baby to warm up to her! Xion is a little skittish at first with strangers in the home but Jayda's calm and gentle nature helped a lot :) She did a great job!”

“Such an amazing sitter! She went above and beyond for my boys. Took extra special care with them and kept me updated every step of the way! The boys loved her! Thank you so much, you’ll be hearing from me again soon!”

“Kenna did an outstanding job taking care of my dog Ellie! Because of Ellie's past, she is extremely fearful of people, and this makes caring for her quite challenging. Kenna understood her special needs and did everything exactly as I asked. She promptly communicated any questions/issues and sent detailed reports with photos for every visit. Kenna is reliable, trustworthy, conscientious, loving, and patient, and she went above and beyond my expectations. I didn't have to worry at all, I knew Ellie was well taken care of. I highly recommend Kenna and plan on using her services in the future as well.”

“Madison helped us out with only a couple of hours notice. She was responsive, polite, and our dogs were well cared for and appropriately tired when we got home. I highly recommend Madison.”

“Reagan did a fantastic job providing in-home care for my dog and cat while I was away for the week. She made sure they were fed and took my dog for a walk each time she visited. She played with them as well. I would definitely ask Reagan to care for my pets again.”

“My cat, Lily loved Kaitlin!! She was punctual, thorough & really played with Lily. Really enjoyed the pictures she sent every day. We will be using her again in July for our next vacation.”

“Lauren is, by far, the best person we have ever found on Rover! She leaves incredibly detailed reports of what's going on with our critters, giving us a lot of comfort as we're travelling. If you are thinking about using Rover, you absolutely have to use Lauren. You will NOT regret it!:)”

“Nicole was wonderful! She responded at the last minute (great communication) and took great care of our boy Teddy! We will definitely use her again when we are back at Clemson! Thank you so much!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover since I’d first discovered them as a young child, it never mattered the type or size, I’ve always been drawn to them. I grew up in the PNW where I spent many years in 4-H, showing horses and participating in our local county fair. Last year we took the leap and moved to South Carolina with our 2 senior dogs, 4 cats, and bearded dragon, and have been loving how beautiful it is. Since our move, we have acquired 3 more cats that were picked up as strays, bringing our total to a whopping 7 cats! I truly wouldn’t have it any other way. I have experience with all sizes, breeds, and energy levels of dogs, as well as behavioral issues. One of senior dogs struggles with reactivity while on leash, and I make it a point to make sure he is always comfortable and safe while out. I also specialize in pets with special needs who may require a little extra attention and care. One of the kittens we took in is completely blind, amongst other things, and had required daily medication at times. She also suffers from behavioral issues which is why I’m so adamant on being patient with animals. They are learning every day, just as we are. If given the opportunity, I promise to treat your animals as I do my own, with love and grace. I’ve been blessed enough to have a very open schedule and can pretty much fit any time a pet may need into my day. Whether it be weekdays or weekends, I’m flexible and have reliable transportation. The safety and comfort of your pets are my top priority and I plan to treat them the way I treat my own. I’m very mindful of securing doors and fences to insure your babies are safe and secure where they are supposed to be. I speak to all animals the way I would speak to a friend because I believe, while they may not be able to understand all the words, they can understand tone and intention.
“Graham has done stop-in visits for our sometimes ill-tempered Havanese this summer and she does a wonderful job. He is old and often cranky and she took on the challenge to bond with him. Lots of effort there. She is very flexible and reliable. Great communicator. Really love and appreciate having her.”

About: I have a Bachelor's degree in Zoology, and Associates degree in Science and have cared for other peoples pets since I was 17 (August, 3 2026 I'll be 22) besides caring for my parents dogs and cats. I have expireance with special care needs like diabetic pets who need to be given insulin shots, elderly dogs with oral pills they would rather not take, and bouncing puppies who need to let out alot of energy. I also have owned many animals since I was little with minimal parental help. These animals include dogs, cats, snakes, mice, rats, fish, birds, spiders, and frogs. I have experience in highschool vet care and college lab and field experience in herpetology, ornithology, and ictheology. Your fur babies will love spending their time with me when you can't be there. I just graduated college and would love to make money doing somthing I'm good at; careing for animals. Since I just graduated and don't have another job currently I'm free at most times and would love to be of service to you. I will give my undivided attention to make sure your animal is happy and well cared for. I can take your dog to the dog park, and if you want I can bring my dog over for them to play. Dog/cat's needs and feed schedules can be precise. When I was caring for my aunts Diabetic cat I had to feed half of a 1/4 cup give him his insulin shot then feed the other half, this had to happen at 6am and 6pm exactly. The shot had to go into his opposite hip every time (left morning, right afternoon). I hope to offer your pet similarly the best care imaginable.
About: With years of experience caring for pets, I’ve developed a deep understanding and love for animals. I currently have a dog and a cat of my own. My dog, adopted at 2 months old, is now 1 year old and I’ve trained her through all of puppyhood, and my cat is 4 years old, who I’ve cared for since she was 3 months old. Friends, family, and neighbors trust me to care for their pets while they’re away, and I walk and care for a dog for an elderly lady in my town multiple times a week. I also have experience with training dogs and providing attentive care for elderly pets, ensuring each one receives the special attention they need. My dedication and hands-on experience set me apart as a compassionate and reliable pet sitter. I currently work part-time and remotely with a very flexible work schedule. I am available almost every day to care for pets, and am very flexible with my hours. In my home or yours, your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I maintain a pet-friendly, secure environment with constant supervision and plenty of affection. I follow all safety protocols, including secure leashes and harnesses for walks, and I ensure a clean, hazard-free space for your pet to explore and relax. Your pet will always receive personalized care tailored to their unique needs, ensuring a happy and stress-free experience. Trust that your furry friend is in capable and loving hands with me.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
