“William has taken care of our Bianca several times, most recently in December 2025 and also this past beginning of January 2026. And several times prior. He is wonderful with Bianca and she looooves going to his place. We trust him IMPLICITLY with her care and he always sends photos and messages, telling us how much is enjoying her company. I know if Bianca could talk, she would say the same about spending time with William!! Highly, highly recommend! We NEVER EVER worry about being away when Bianca is with William!!”

“Would definitely recommend Kelly! We are so glad we found Kelly and Kyle! They looked after our dog for an extended stay and we were so grateful for all the help and amazing care they gave. Kelly sent lots of updates including fun photos and videos which we loved! The stay included lots of walks and playtime in their yard with their amazing dog Eggie. Would absolutely trust Kelly to look after our dog again.”

“Outstanding! Our little Brody had a great time at Debi’s for the week. He came back home so happy! She was responsive and sent daily pictures and updates. Brody is looking forward to his next visit to Debi.”

“Cynthia was wonderfull. She sent pictures everyday. Walked Lola frequently and pet her a lot! Lola is very playfull and Cynthia's children kept her busy. 5 star and defetnely we will book another stay soon. 100% recommended.”

“Roxana the best! Reliable, caring, and professional. She treated my baby like family and kept me updated the entire time. 💕I felt completely at ease knowing my fur baby was in good hands! Highly recommend❣️”

“Amy was amazingly accomodating from the moment we met her initially, all the way to picking Clark up after our 2 day getaway. She provided pictures and updates throughout his stay and even went above and beyond when Clark had some anxiety issues when we first dropped him off. She definitely wore Clark out with walks and playing at the park, which was awesome. Amy is an awesome person, in general, and clearly loves what she does. If you need someone to watch your furry loved one, look no further than Amy!”

“Maria was amazing from our very first communication. She suggested we do a meet and greet so Miles could meet her and her dogs as well. This was my first time using Rover and she was amazing with Miles. She sent pictures, videos and updated me on how he was behaving. Her family treated my baby like he was theirs and I definitely recommend her to anyone who wants their dog to have the proper TLC they deserve.”

“Natasha is the best! Maybel, who is a very scared and anxious rescue dog, is very comfortable with her. Natasha always goes above and beyond, responding to my last minute requests, keeping in touch, and treating Maybel with gentleness. I would never leave her with anyone but Natasha!”

“An overall great experience. Our puppy had a home away from home to stay for a few days. Silvia was great from start to finish. She asked the right questions, sent us pictures to keep us updated, and gave great attention to our puppy. I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience, and will be back for sure. Thank you!”

“Carla was amazing, she would regularly fill us in how our Dulce was through out the day and evening (voluntarily without asking her to) which was great and gave us a sense of comfort that our dog was in great hands. We would definitely recommend her!”

“Cyn was AMAZING taking care of our Luna for 10 days. She kept us informed at all times and we were at ease during our vacation knowing our fur baby was happy. Our flight was delayed and Cyn was gracious enough to keep Luna an extra night. We can't thank her enough❤️🙏🏽”

“Our loved staying with Penelope. Penelope is super responsive, responsible, and sends frequent photos/videos so you know your dog is doing well. We will definitely board with her again.”

“Quinn took great care of our dogs, they had lots of fun at her house. She has a great fenced yard and they got lots of exercise. She sent daily photos and updates, I highly recommend her!”

“We had a great experience. We recieved many pictures and videos of our boys. They seemed to enjoy their time with Yubi & Alex's dogs and had a nice yard to play in. Thank you for taking such good care of Donnie & Merle!”

“Very friendly. Every thing went well and I felt confident my baby was going to be okay once the meet and greet was done. Lots of freedom for our pup to run around like at home. Secure and fenced in. Thanks for your quick response.”

“Brought my Pit Bull mix to Lee Ann’ home, I’m always nervous leaving him with a stranger as he has a past history of being abused. Lee Ann and her family welcomed Buster into their home and promptly made him feel loved and made him feel part of their family. Lee Ann sent many photos and videos daily. Buster can’t wait to return and play with Molly and the rest of the family.”

Michelle was absolutely wonderful with my dog Dukie! She took such care of him while I was away and every day she sent me photos and updates to let me know he was doing well. Knowing Dukie was happy, safe, and well cared for gave me so much peace of mind while I was gone. I truly appreciate how caring, attentive, and communicative Michelle was. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter!

Our dog Eggie loves staying with Jeffrey! He is wagging his tail as soon as he realizes we are pulling up to Jeffrey’s home. Jeffrey provides us with regular updates and photos and we are so glad to have found a place for Eggie to stay where he is comfortable while we travel. Highly recommend :-)

My dog spent 10 days boarding with Andy and his family and their dog Luna. I know he was well cared for and was happy and comfortable with them by the daily photos I received. It was a great experience, much better than leaving him at a kennel. We'll definitely book Andy again for our next trip. Thank you!

Had the best experience leaving my dog Moses with Gaby and her family for 12 days while I was traveling. I was nervous at first as this was Moses’s first time staying long term with them but she quickly eased my worry by being very intentional on sending me updates. She also paid such close attention to Moses and his health that she noticed his allergies were flaring up pretty bad and causing some issues so she informed me right away and took preventative measures to help make sure things didn’t get worse. She also gave me some suggestions that were helpful. She cared for him so well. I’m so grateful to Gaby and her family. I couldn’t have asked for a better family to take care of my dog while I was away. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again in the future.

Maria watched my dog again for 6 nights. I see has watched my dog several times now. She was able to watch him for an additional night after our flight was delayed until the next day. She checked in to make sure our flight would be back as planned. This gave me great piece of mind that my boy wouldn't be left while we tried to make it back home! Thanks again for watching my old man!

Mikayla was absolutely amazing with Jay! She went above and beyond from the very beginning by taking him a day earlier than originally planned, which was a huge help. She kept me updated throughout his entire stay with pictures and videos, giving me complete peace of mind while I was on my cruise. It was obvious that Jay was loved, happy, and very well taken care of. I was originally supposed to pick Jay up at 2:30 PM, but due to unexpected delays, I didn’t arrive until 6:49 PM. Mikayla was so understanding, patient, and accommodating, and never made me feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing her. Her communication was excellent, and she truly treated Jay like he was her own. Her care and kindness were so exceptional that I happily gave her an extra $100 tip because she genuinely earned it. I would trust her with Jay again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and professional dog sitter. Thank you again, Mikayla, for taking such wonderful care of my baby! ❤️🐾

Julie was amazing from the moment I met her I knew my puppy would be in good hands. Julie made every step painless from the meeting of my puppy to having him for 2 days while I traveled, I was at peace knowing how cared for my puppy was. Julie is an amazing communicator, updated pictures to me very frequently and just was an all around amazing sitter. I will use her next time for sure and I highly recommend her to anyone!

Magda took really good care of my puppy. I knew she was in good hands the moment I dropped her off. My puppy Melody fell in love with her and her daughters instantly, and I am grateful for that. She sent photos everyday to be sure that I was comfortable. Thank you again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a last minute trip, and Xavier G took amazing care of our three dogs; Sherlock, Benny, and Teddy. He made the whole experience stress-free, kept us updated, and treated our dogs like his own. They came home happy, healthy, and well cared for. We couldn’t have asked for better care and will definitely book with him again. Highly recommend!

Penelope was amazing with our Nala and we cant thank her enough! She was always very fast to respond with photos, videos and messages, putting us at ease and making it a bit easier to leave our pup with a sitter. It seemed like Nala loved every minute of being with Penelope and the pup crew that was there for the week. We would highly recommend Penelope and look forward to being able to use her services again.

Veronica was a fantastic sitter for our dog during our 2 weeks out. She was very accommodating and kept us updated during the entire time with a very timely and fluid communication. During the stay our dog got sick and she promptly let us know and asked for permission to bring in a vet to check him up. We will definitely be using her again soon.

Amanda was wonderful with Nitro! She was very welcoming from the start and took great care of him while we were away. We really appreciated all of the updates and photos she sent, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that Nitro was well cared for and happy. We would absolutely recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter. Thank you again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
