About: I’ve been around both large and small dogs my whole life. I fostered Dog’s when I live in Ohio and I had 3 acres. My sister has 5 dogs and 4 cats and a lizard. I used to take care of them all the time while she worked. I used to have a special needs dog that I took care of before cancer took him from me in 2019. I have 2 dogs right now. One was a foster fail, lol. I am a mother with another job so my schedule is all over the place, but I make it work. I can watch over night occasionally. When caring for pets in the client’s home, I will do what is needed to keep the pet safe and happy. Walks, play time, I can administer meds if needed, crate if needed, cuddles, etc. whatever you need.

About: Lexie, my own dog, has taught me a lot about patience, routine, and understanding a dog’s needs. Through caring for her and other family dogs and my previous dogs back in the Philippines, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily pet care, playtime, and feeding schedules. I’m very attentive and make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I enjoy keeping dogs active with playtime, especially games like fetch, providing plenty of cuddle time, and sticking to their routines for feeding, potty breaks, and naps, and making sure they get plenty of attention and affection. Every dog deserves a fun, safe, and caring environment, and I’m dedicated to giving them just that. I’m available to care for pets on weekends, which is when I’m off work and can give full attention to your furry friends. About: For as long as I can remember, there have always been pets in my life! Whether that was in my own home growing up, in a family member's home, at friends' houses, etc. I have often been the go-to person when it comes to caring for them when their owners are out of town. From walking, feeding, playing, administering medication, and more, I have absolutely loved getting to care for pets of all sizes and ages. As for my own pet experience, after moving to Birmingham in 2018 I applied to become a foster through Two by Two Rescue and began fostering (and quickly failed) with my sweet 13-year-old Pekingese, Max. He was truly the light of my life and we were the best of friends! He taught me a ton about how to care for senior dogs. Before his passing in 2021, I rescued my cat, Mews, and although she's a little hesitant around other pets she stays in her own space! At my own home, I do have stairs but have no issue helping any senior pups or dogs afraid of going upstairs feel comfortable. I used to have to carry Max all the time, haha. I'm also comfortable with pee pads as they used to be a staple in my apartment. I'm not particular about whether or not your pet is create trained and have no issue if they're not! As long as they'd be okay around my cat, I'm more than happy to let them roam around as they please. There are plenty of sidewalks around my apartment for walkies and we're close to a community park as well! Discussing my work schedule is something I do before my meet and greets just so we both have an understanding of expectations. However, my full-time job is a hybrid environment so I'm able to work remotely usually 2 days out of the week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to care for your pet. On days I am in the office, I'm happy to run by your home during my lunch break if you're close to my office in Hoover. At my home, there is plenty of walking space to take your pup out and get some exercise. We can visit a local park near my house if that's something they'd enjoy. I'm also happy to crate your fur baby if needed.
About: I have cared for a variety of animals and am comfortable caring for any pet (including exotic or uncommon), any age, any size, any level of care, and any personality! I have past experience caring for senior animals (including dogs, cats, and horses) as well as animals under age 1 (including dogs and cats). I often volunteer at the Birmingham Humane Society! Although I am not offering training services, I have experience training and am willing to uphold any training regimen. I have experience shadowing a household pet veterinarian as well as an equine veterinarian. I also have farm animal care experience. I love playtime and am very attentive! I am very excited to care for your pet! I am available for boarding weekends and weekdays after 7 pm. My apartment is the perfect environment for boarding! I am available for boarding some weekdays all day, but I will need notice 5 days and to coordinate in advance for boarding on a weekday before 7 pm due to shifting schedule days. I am available to sit weekends and after 7 pm on weekdays. Can do daytime feedings or walks 2 or 3 times a day. I’m currently working full-time at UAB Hospital (3 12 hr shifts/week). For boarding, I am in a one bedroom apartment with no other pets and decent play space. I have no toys, litter boxes, or cat trees so will need to provide their own. I live next to a large unfenced park. The apartment is clean and tidy and safe for pets. The apartment building also has a pet bathing station available if your pet needs cleaning. If you are concerned with a public bathing station, I am perfectly comfortable bathing your pet in the bath in my apartment. Please, let me know of any health or hygiene issues beforehand. Medications/allergies/health concerns are extremely important to me. For sitting, I will clean any pet messes if needed. Require a decently clean home and closer distance if overnight sitting is needed. Please, let me know of any concerns ahead of time. For walks, please let me know an estimated average walk time for your pet so that they are comfortable and happy!

Me and you pets would go on walks play and just hang out together I don’t work on weekends and pet can stay with me when your not home or I can stop by feed,pet,and walk I will follow by your request. About: Having grown up with animals most my life…I pride myself in the ability to comfort and love your furry friend… Even from a distance. My special skills, are soft skills… Meaning that I work best with slow warm-ups for any anxious pets. But also, I’m ready for any high energy animals as well. I go to school, and work during the weekdays… But have a giant break in the middle of the day, for any pet care. Weekends work best for me. Making sure to adapt to whatever the pet owner, and pet need. Whether that means space, or extra attention… I can be that in-between person you request. I travel a good bit for work and fun. So naturally I want to ensure that my little buddy Duke is well taken care of in my absence. But hands down Kayla B. was by far THEE best sitter we have ever experienced in 12 years of being a dog mom. Her genuine care, love, and concern for animals is exceptional. Her communication was wonderful and quick. Thanks to Kayla, I even have a picture collage of Duke for keepsake. She went above and beyond to check his tongue when I thought I saw a rash in a picture. This was the first time my dog was torn when it was time to come home. I could tell he missed Kayla and her family instantly. She is our forever sitter as long as she’s doing this.
