“Jes is a really great pet sitter. We’ve been using him whenever we go away. He is extremely reliable, responsive and great with our cat. He sends updates and pictures at each visit.”

“Yena did a wonderful job caring for my kitties. She gave the friendlier one lots of play time and observed the spicy one lovingly, giving him the leeway to come near her on his own instead of keeping to his usual post guarding the bedroom. She sent many sweet updates as well. I would be happy to have her tend to my cats again for sure.”

“Simone was great with visiting my cats while I was away for a long weekend. She was easy to communicate with, took good care of my fur babies and was responsible with instructions. I will definitely work with her again when I have future needs! Thanks Simone!!”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience and calm, confident approach to pet care. I grew up caring for a German Shepherd and, starting at 16, three bulldogs—so I’m comfortable with big personalities, strong breeds, and all the drool that comes with them! I’ve also dog-sat for friends and taken their pups on regular walks, including those with anxiety or special routines. I’m patient, observant, and always make sure pets feel safe and loved while their humans are away. Whether your dog needs a running buddy, your senior cat needs a quiet companion, or your anxious pup just needs someone who understands—I’m here. I’m a morning person with a flexible schedule. Avid runner so can work with high energy dogs. I’m also available for evening walks and check-ins—perfect for pets with routines or extra energy. I’m able to provide more schedule details. I prioritize comfort, safety, and trust. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine—whether that’s quiet companionship for cats or daily walks and play for dogs. On walks, I stay alert and avoid unfamiliar dogs unless I have permission to interact, always keeping your pet’s safety first. For cats, I create a calm, low-stress environment, keep their space tidy, and respect their boundaries.

“Jiayi was wonderful - I came home to a very happy cat after a week of drop in visits! She was very communicative and went above and beyond to send pictures of my kitten and the home space/food set up daily too. After such a long trip I was worried about coming home to an unhappy little buddy, but with Jiayi playing with him and taking care of food daily my Arthur was a very happy boy! Thank you Jiayi!!”

About: I am a dog walker and trainer based in Emeryville. I am currently working towards my CTC to improve my training skills. I have experience training dogs big and small in single and multi dog homes. I use positive reinforcement (usually food) in my training and do not use aversive tools for training. I love teaching all sorts of behaviors, but especially love training good manners and leash walking skills. I offer regular dog walking for enrichment and exercise as well as training walks that work on walking and public behaviors. For pet sitting: I have owned large and small dogs, cats, insects, rats, fish, and other birds. I have owned a diabetic dog who requires insulin twice a day and a cat who received pills every day for her thyroid. I have experience giving medicine both orally and via shot using positive reinforcement. I’m am currently taking classes learning to be a dog trainer, I am looking for walking clients to get more experience with all types of dogs. I have an amazing friendly dog who is a Guide Dogs for the Blind career change. He is a working service dog, so he may come to sits or on walks if it’s appropriate.

About: Hello! I am a recent graduate of George Mason University (M.A.) and I recently moved to the Oakland/Berkeley area. I have an approximately 14 year old rescue dog named Daisy who has kidney disease and other chronic conditions. So I have quite a bit of experience caring for older pets, administering medication, and taking slow careful walks. I regularly hire dog walkers off Rover for her while I'm at work, and it inspired me to join as well! I also have experience caring for my family dogs, a young Shih Tsu and an elderly Bichon. I love dogs of all sizes, and one of my favorite breeds is pitbulls/Staffordshire terriers. I also have experience caring for two pet rats. I am always on time, detail oriented, and will send you lots of pictures of your fur baby. I currently have availability all day Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and availability before 12pm Tuesday, Thursday. I have availability on Saturdays if given a week notice. I cannot board dogs in my home, but I promise to be respectful and mindful in your home and of your wishes regarding the care of your pet.

About: I’ve had animals all of my life and have taken care of many friends and families pets along the way. I’m reliable, attentive and communicative and happy to work with your animals needs. Excited to spend time with your pups and get those paws a steppin! I have mornings and early afternoons available most days and sometimes evenings as well. I can take your dog(s) for neighborhood walks or hikes nearby if needed. I have 2 cats at home who are so spoiled and well loved. I’m a dog lover and would be so excited to have more time with some dogs! I’m happy to let them out, take them for walks, feed them and give them water, play with them around the house etc. I cannot take dogs to my home but will spend time with them at yours!

“Shirley is great! Our cat liked her immediately. She was easy to work with and accommodated multiple last-minute changes due to unforeseen circumstances. I highly recommend her.”

About: Hi y'all, I'm Jaz! I've been around dogs since my dad got a pitt bull puppy while I was in highschool. I'm my friends' first call when they're leaving town to watch their fuzzy babies. When my parents' Frenchie had 8 puppies I flew into town to be the overnight puppy nanny. I have my own street rescue at home who is good with small dogs, big dogs, old dogs, and puppies. I like to take long walks and let dogs do all the sniffing they want. There's nothing like having a calm dog at home. My home is great for boarding. It's centrally located in River Park. We've got a fenced backyard and a pool for all those doggos looking for a swim! And I'm home all the time to give all the attention. I'm home all the time so I can take care of the little ones all day long! If I do leave it's for an hour or 2 at most. I have a fenced yard with a pool (with a child gate installed by the previous tenants). And I live in a very quiet neighborhood for walks. My dog Ruby is very friendly with all dogs, big, small, old, and young. Food and walk times are very structured.

“Yvonne has great energy and is an excellent communicator. She took care of my two cats for four days and it was obvious when I returned that they were well taken care of. She even helped me out with some packages that arrived while we were away which brought me a lot of peace of mind. She’s a true animal whisperer.”

“David has cared for my elderly dog, Remus, multiple times in the past. Remus needs some extra attention with his special diet and medication schedule. I couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful and reliable sitter. He was incredibly communicative, keeping me updated and reassured throughout each stay, which eased my anxiety and I was able to enjoy my time away. It’s clear that David genuinely loves animals and treats them with the same care and respect as their owners would. His calm, kind demeanor and attention to detail make him not only a great pet sitter but a truly awesome human being. I can't recommend David enough!”
