About: I’ve had experience with a handful of different cats and dogs, from walking to house sitting, I also offer pet photography alongside your service. I am a quick learner, motivated, and would love to take care of your pet. I am in the process of preparing to start animal behavioral college, where I’ll be majoring in animal training. I’m currently on a break from work until the end of August/ early September so I can accommodate to your needs and have lots of time to play with your critters. I have a fenced large open patio and yard, the perfect spot with plenty of space for your fur baby/ies. I can also stay overnight at your house, I’m open, I will always leave your home better than I found it.

About: My family back home has rescued two amazing cocker spaniels and I am hoping to give your dog the same love! I have experience with young and old dogs of all sizes. I have also pet sit for my neighbors in LA and in Berkeley. Going into my senior year at UC Berkeley, I am hoping to have a lot more dogs around! I am a big outside person and I have no issue with going on long walks or taking your dog to the park. I'm an undergrad student and working part time so let me know what times are best and I can work around your schedule. Tuesdays during the day I am not available. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats personally for my whole life and professionally for almost ten years now. Friends and family rely on me to walk, feed, and sit their animal children when they are unavailable and I am happy to do so! I am currently between full time jobs since moving from LA, so I have lots of time to work with your pets at the moment :) I am not able to care for pets at my home, but I am happy to sit at your home and follow all directions while giving your animals my full attention.

About: I’ve done neighborhood dog care in high school for 2 years and in college occasionally take care of my friends cats while they are away. About: Hi! My name is Kirsten and I’m an aspiring dog trainer with the hopes to eventually become a certified professional after I’m done with my undergraduate studies. I have cared for cats and dogs of all ages since I was very young, but within the last two years, I have learned more than ever about animal behavior through training my reactive Malinois rescue and seeking professional help. I have adopted the R+ approach to training my pup and treat most of our interactions with each other as training and enriching moments. As a result, I naturally begin training any dog I meet with lots of praise and owner-permitted treats. It is crucial to me that your animals trust me and feel as comfortable as they can. As such, I take great care to ensure that any animal I’m around is comfortable with our interactions by respecting boundaries and building trust at the animal’s pace. As your fur baby’s caretaker, I will provide all of the necessary physical and mental stimulation they need to keep them happy while you’re away! I am currently a student at UCB and will be caring for your pets between classes, so my ability to get to you depends on if there’s a bus stop nearby. My general availability is from 1 pm- 4:30 pm Monday - Thursday, and flexible on Fridays and weekends. This may change a bit as more class info comes out in the coming 2-3 weeks. I will care for your animals in your home and be respectful of your space, happy to follow all house rules that apply. I may play with your animals if they want to, but rest assured that the place will be spotless before you get home!

About: Hi, I’m Sophia! I made Oakland my home almost four years ago! Since my apartment does not allow pets, the time I get to spend with pets is extra special to me. I’ve been around animals my whole life and feel passionate about pet care and wellbeing. Walking and interacting with the dogs I’ve had has always been incredibly rewarding for me, and I want to bring my enthusiasm for dog care to others! I provide dog walking and drop-in services, with an emphasis on exploration and adventure. I love finding new walking routes and love exploring the city and trails in the Berkeley and Oakland hills. For drop-in’s I offer a personalized experience for each pet, and aim to ensure that by the time I leave they’re as happy as can be. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, from cats to big hunting dogs. My aunt has always had large dogs that weren’t always fully trained, so I’m used to handling strong and sometimes stubborn dogs (size anywhere from 15lbs (smallest) to roughly 100lbs). My girlfriend has a rescue pit bull (95 lbs.) who got comfortable with me really fast, and her dad has a German shepherd-husky mix (-75lbs) who’s very nervous and hesitant around people. I managed to earn his trust in a short time span as well. I’m especially good with big dogs and dogs that might be a bit protective or shy. I don’t mind if they need time to warm up; I actually enjoy figuring out how to make them feel safe and relaxed. What makes me different is that I’m really patient and I don’t force anything. I pay attention to how each dog feels and let them come to me at their own pace. People always tell me I have a natural way with animals, and I think that’s true because I really enjoy being around them and I respect their space. I love spending time with dogs, whether it’s going on a long walk, playing, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I try to make sure they feel happy and comfortable the whole time. I am prompt and communicative With drop ins, i can also do small extras like water your plants and bring in the mail. I'm fairly flexible on same day bookings and can be extra active for energetic dogs I am also happy to discuss longer hikes or extra exercise for an additional fee I’m a student-athlete on the men's rowing team studying biology. I'm 6'7 and very active and love being outside, so going on long walks or playing with dogs fits perfectly into my routine. I’m free most afternoons and will be available all summer. I’ve been around everything from big labs and hunting dogs to pit bulls and nervous rescues. Some of these dogs were very cautious or protective at first, but they usually warm up to me quickly. usually, within the same day. About: I am the go to for pet care, wether it’s friends/family/coworkers. My dog and cat are my priority and I treat every animal I welcome in my home as a priority. Leaving your pet with someone is terrifying (at least for me) and I ease that for everyone that I have watched pets for. I have a dog, and a cat so adding a couple more animals is not difficult. I work my schedule around my dog currently, he likes to have two walks full walks a day, sniff time throughout the day, and a feeding schedule. I am walking distance from my work, and only physically have to be there 4 hours a day 5 days a week. I live in a house with a secure back deck, that leads to a private beach. My dog is monitored while outside, and is only allowed on the deck alone while I am home. Every animal has different needs and I adjust to their schedule/needs. Basics are walks, play, and feeding. I work part time but and able to change my schedule to accommodate the needs of your pet. Their schedule is a priority when I am watching them, and I make sure I am able to meet their needs. I never let an animal off leash unless they are in a secure yard. I avoid places that have dogs off leash. I am comfortable with any safety measures you have for your animal. I work with reactive dogs, and comfortable with putting on a muzzle, I also will advocate for your dogs space and comfort.
