About: My name is Elle and I have been around many different species of pets since before I can remember. I consider my self to be patient and skilled with being around rescue animals with all different temperaments and behaviors, as my dogs are rescues and I've had experience socializing both dogs and cats in local shelters. I've recently gotten into pet sitting for neighbors and family friends and would love the opportunity to expand my horizons using this site. I work a part time job and can be flexible with pet sitting and regular check ups on the dog or cat during the job. About: Hi! I am new to the desert as well as to Rover. However, I am not new to caring for fur babies, from birth to their senior years. I just recently (in May) lost my sweet, senior Pomeranian, Princess and am unable to have pets in my new home. It will make my heart very happy spending time with and loving on yours! I am a very kind, easy going, patient and responsible woman. I was raised around a number of dogs of all sizes and breeds. As an adult, I have been a fur mom to small breeds (Poodles, Maltese and Pomeranians) as well as to large breeds (Boxers and German Shepherds). Over the course of the past 10 years I have had the pleasure of babysitting several grandpups, all rescues, big and small as well as the pets of friends. A few of the dogs I’ve cared for have had severe health issues and required a lot of special attention. My arms are feeling very empty these days without any fur babies to hold. Hoping to remedy that! I am very good at adapting to the personality of the dog. Whether they are high energy and want to play and need lots of exercise, just want me to hold them on my lap, or something in between. With what you, their parent, share with me about their personalities and what they “tell” me, I am happy to oblige! I promise to take care of and love them as my own. Think of me as a doting grandmother. 😊 I live in Palm Desert and work Thursday through Saturday in Palm Springs 11 to 4. I hope that I can start this new chapter of my life spending a lot of time as a pet sitter with a few very special regular clients. I’m available to walk them morning and evening the days that I’m working and spend the night. Or stay with them full time on my days off. I am able to take care of your home as well as your pet(s) and I will make sure that I keep them on their routine. I will not give them any pet or human food other than what you have approved. I am an early riser, so every morning I go for a 30 minute walk to get coffee and to go for a nice morning potty break. Then it's play time and breakfast when we get back! I make sure to take my furry friend out every 2 hours for a short 15 minute potty break. I promise only the best services. Also, if there are any dietary or medical restrictions, no problem. I have babysat dogs with severe skin allergies, diabetes and certain dietary restrictions. Your pet will always be in the best of hands!
