About: I’ve always felt drawn to animals, even as a toddler, and I’m grateful they have always been in my life one way or another. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, parrots, bunnies and I’m 200% comfortable around all types of animals, including yours! I adopted my own five-year old rescue, Pippin, who LOVES other pups and is happy to keep them company with me when boarding a dog in our home. I’m an active individual…exercise is very important to me—both for myself and Pippin, and I am a great match for high-energy dogs. At a bare minimum (unless otherwise specified by the owner), I make sure we walk for at least an hour and if your pup needs more exercise, I am more than capable of exercising for multiple hours! I go above and beyond with communication by sending regular photo, video and text updates in real time so you know your pup is healthy, happy and secure when in my care. I also make sure I understand your pup’s usual schedule and then do my best to stick to their regular feeding times, activity times (and level) and play their favorite games. Does your pup like hiking? Great, because I do too! In short, I get to know my clients’ dogs’ favorite things to do and then make sure our time together is a healthy mix of the activities they enjoy. It can be difficult for a pup to trust a new person right off the bat so I take the time to earn their trust through belly rubs, ear scratches, cuddles and healthy treats. I have over two decades of experience caring for all types of breeds, temperaments and sizes, and I do whatever it takes to understand their quirks and then tailor my care to their specific needs. “Don was great with both my dog, Neko, and my Cat, Teri. He sent videos regularly and keep me informed about Neko and especially how Teri were doing. Also, Don went out of his way to care for Teri, my cat. Teri has kidney disease and requires hydration with a saline solution every day. Don was wonderful with Teri by injecting the solution under his skin. This was accomplished by placing a needle under Teri's loose skin and slowly allowing the saline solution to flow under his skin. Don is very personable and I recommend him very highly for caring for your pet.”

She took Bridgit for walks, played with all of them, and kept us updated throughout our trip with lots of photos and videos. Bonnie is sweet and conscientious. She took copious notes and came over to meet the dogs before she even started pet sitting.
