“Mallory was great with our dog. She came over to review everything and took great notes, then showed up on time and provided great care. She also made sure we knew our dog was receiving care and her medications as directed. Will certainly use Mallory again.”

“Truly exceptional in every way! We were pretty nervous about using rover for in-house sitting for the first time but Alexis made us feel so comfortable and made everything seamless. Most importantly, Bucky loved her right away and he is an excellent judge of character ☺️. Alexis sent lots of photos and even video updates so we knew he was doing great and being well cared for every day. It takes a special person to take on a very large dog in a new space and Alexis was everything we could hope for in a sitter. And she left our home looking perfect too! So grateful for her care and would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a kind, considerate, and extremely competent sitter for their fur baby.”

“Jenna was wonderful. She had the very challenging task of watching our 4 month old golden doddle. Jenna was great with keeping Molly busy with walks and play. She is a 5 start sitter, and a wonderful person with a kind and loving heart. Please do not hesitate in using Jenna, as she is a such a professional and caring dog sitter!!”

“Megan house sat our three cats and one dog for four days and did an amazing job! She was great with communication and I got pictures everyday of the fur babies. Also, very professional and respectful of the house.”

“We are very satisfied with the care that Nicole gave our pets! We booked a last minute trip and reached out to Nicole to stay in our home with our cat and dog. She was quick to respond and came for a meet and greet the next day. While we were away she took great care of our animals and home and sent plenty of pictures and updates. We would definitely recommend her and plan to use her services again in the future!”

About: I would love an opportunity to provide care for your pet. I have over 10 years of experience caring for pets, training, etc. so I am more than qualified to take care of your pet! I am planning on providing pet care as my job, so I am pretty available…I am interested in daily walks as well as overnight care.. I provide loving and nurturing care in the comfort of the pets home. I was a nanny so I am always mindful of keeping the home safe and tidy!

About: I grew up with German Shepherds and pugs, and have over 20 years of experience with all breeds, from tiny to huge! I learned the importance of basic training very early, as we always had large dogs for family security. I try to only take one dog at a time (unless they are siblings of course!) so they have my undivided attention and are treated like a member of my family. My Bernese Mountain Dog, Gertie, is almost 10, and is a great help with other dogs. She knows many commands, can walk off-leash, and is friendly and respectful. I currently work from home, so I am home most days. I have a large, fenced yard with two walkways that are also both fenced, and live next door to a big, dog-friendly park. Boarding is my most popular service, and I enjoy really getting to know your pup. Your dog will have constant access to my yard, home, water, sofa, and beds during their stay. I will never be away from the house for more than an hour or two to run errands (and I usually just take them with me!).

“Emma is wonderful! She watched our cat Chip while we were away for thanksgiving. She was responsive and kept us up to date with photos on how Chip was doing. Looking forward to using Emma again!”

“We were visiting Carmel for the week and very glad we found Natalie to dog sit for the day while we enjoyed the beach and went out to dinner. She sent us photos of the dogs too. We came home to happy and relaxed pups.”

“Carly did an absolutely amazing job helping us during the car week in Pebble Beach. We had a customized schedule and specific requirements and Carly met with all our needs and standards. Will def recommend her and use her again!”

“Christina and everyone was great. The dogs loved the care and companionship. I received daily photos, videos, and updates. I have a dog that requires insulin and they were able to give excellent care to him. I highly recommend them.”

About: I have been caring for dogs, both young and old, my entire life. Whether you have a young pup, an old dog with special needs, or anywhere in between - they will be in good hands. I am home full-time in a large spacious apartment near the panhandle/golden gate park, with a large gated back yard. Your dog will have all of the attention and room it needs to play (inside or out), take a nap on the couch, etc. I'm a dog lover through-and through. Your best friend will feel like he/she is at her home away from home when she stays with me. I'm happy to accommodate your dogs needs, whether it's medication, longer walks in the park, etc. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions!

“I can’t recommend Minko enough! He was fantastic with our sensitive pup, taking the time to be patient and win him over. He’s sat for both my dog and my boyfriend’s, and they both adore him! We came back to a tidy home and happy dog, which says it all. Minko is reliable, caring, and truly great with dogs. We feel so comfortable leaving our pups in his care and will absolutely book with him again!”

About: New to this site yet for friends and employers, I've done housesitting and pet sitting for years. I've been vetted, background checked and currently on another popular sitting site. I've just relocated back to the area of Monterey, California where I grew up. I love to be out hiking and walking so if your pet needs exercise and the peace that comes with it, I'm your gal! I usually take myself out walking twice a day. Unless your animal needs special care and can't be active, I believe pets should be active because it makes them feel better, same as us. I'm flexible in my work and don't have the sort of hours that would keep me away from your pet for too long. Regular feeding, bathroom breaks, playing and petting are my top priorities. I do a lot of photography and photos of animals are one of my faves. Your pet could be the next Lassie! Safety is also a top priority. I can either drop in on your pet or do overnight stays, weekly stays, etc. I keep pets safe, doors and windows locked, and the place exactly as you left it. I've traveled for years using Airbnb and have great reviews here for you to peruse – thank you hosts!

About: Hello, My name is Denise and I would love to care for your pets (cats, dogs, rabbits) and walk your dog(s). I have two cats and had the honor of owning two dogs and two rabbits over the last 33 yrs. I've worked as a Veterinary Assistant, have dog-walking, basic training, and dog-sitting/boarding experience. I work with senior dogs and can administer both oral and injected medicine for dogs. Besides cat and dog care, I can care for rabbits; I’ve owned two and rabbit-sat for my parents many times. I have interned with an animal shelter, and am currently volunteering at my local Dog Rescue, working on behavioral enrichment and leash/walking manners. I volunteer at Peace of Mind Dog Rescue, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and at my son’s school. I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own and my schedule is flexible. I can do drop-in visits for your dog(s) in the comfort and safety of your home; bathroom breaks, mealtimes, playtime, routines, specific needs, and walks will feel more familiar and natural. Cat and rabbit care will need to be in your home. I can care for dogs in my home and have both a spacious, fenced in backyard and front yard. I’ll give them snuggles, supervised playtime in the yard, walks, bathroom breaks, and meals, if requested. Pets are allowed on our couch and beds, so please let me know if you’d prefer them off of furniture so I can abide by your house rules.

“Very nice and super accommodating! It was my first time leaving my two working dogs to be watched by someone and she did an amazing job! She was super flexible and was great with the dogs. She sent me photos and updates after every visit/walk. I will definitely look for her to watch my dogs again!”

John T.
“One of my favorite things about John is how much of a dog person he is. Not only because I get tagged in all the best dog memes but also because he takes THE BEST care of my dog Ginger. She's a 5 year old boxer who means the whole world to me. I get anxiety about leaving her but thankfully John has been such a wonderful doggo sitter for me whenever I do. No matter how old he gets you can always find him sprawled out on the floor with his childhood dogs giving them hugs and kisses. A true dog lover right there! When John has Ginger he loves to takes her for walks (he's super outdoorsy), gives her a ton of love, is patient with her, makes sure she is safe and is an overall responsible dog sitter. I really would not trust just anyone with my Ginger girl but John is a definite exception whom I highly recommend!”

Heather P.
“I am thankful to have met Heather because she is my kind of person. She is clean, healthy, organized, energetic, low drama, and delightful to be with. She is trustworthy, responsible, and dependable. What a relief to have someone like her to care for our home and cat while we were on vacation. She also transported us to the airport. On return our house was cleaner that it was when we left. We have become good friends and I would recommend her services to anyone. This world needs more house/pet-sitters like her.”

Denise E.
“Hello Rovers, I volunteer with Denise for Peace of Mind Dog Rescue. We help socialize dogs coming into our program, to give them a better chance of finding foster homes and successful adoptions. Denise is great to work with. She's calm and systematic with the dogs, keeping positive vibes for our charges. I would definitely let Denise watch my dog! So reliable, kind and competent.”
