“I used Elan to walk our girl Neffie for a few days for the 1st. I’m always reserved when allowing new dog walkers into my home. However, Elan came a few days before and met with Neffie and me to get special instructions and the lay of the land. Neffie warmed up to her instantly. Elan, was a pleasure, on time with her walks, sent me photos, and updated me how my baby was doing. I will definitely use her again. Thanks again Elan for giving me a piece of mind. :)”

About: Hi there! I was a professional behavioral team member for a local Humane Society and a certified animal-assisted therapist with a deep passion for helping dogs (and their people!) thrive. I’m also a proud rescue momma to three amazing pups of my own, so I truly understand how much your dog means to you—they’re family. My specialty is working with reactive and fearful dogs, and I have extensive experience with large and strong breeds like German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Mastiffs, and of course, the lovable pitties and bully breeds. Whether your pup needs extra patience, structure, or just someone who understands their unique personality, I’ve got the skills and heart to help. When your dog is in my care, you can count on a calm, experienced handler who uses positive reinforcement, clear communication, and lots of love. I tailor every interaction to your dog’s needs, whether that means slow introductions, confidence-building walks, or just a quiet cuddle with a trusted friend. Let’s work together to make sure your dog feels safe, seen, and happy while you’re away. 🐾 My schedule is currently very flexible. This means I’m available for daytime, evening, and even short-notice care—including walks, drop-ins, or extended stays. Let me know what works best for you, and I’ll do my best to accommodate! I cook for my dogs, study nutrition, and provide daily physical & mental enrichment. I follow your instructions and read behavior to keep your pup happy and comfortable.

About: I have had dogs (usually multiple) and cats my entire life, and spent 5-6 years working as a volunteer at Animal Rescue training and socializing dogs to prepare them for adoptions. I have a natural kinship with all animals but especially dogs. I have never met a dog who I didn't get along with. I take pride in my patience, my intuition, and my emotional intelligence which I utilize not just with human interactions, but furry friend interactions as well. I am currently working part-time so have plenty of time to take care of multiple animals, and have the time and energy to take them on walks, to the park, and make sure they have the most fun vacation, even if they don't get to enjoy it with their favorite people. I live in a luxury apartment building, with three courtyards and TWO dog parks (one in the front of the building, one in the back), as well as a 5-year old Husky Retriever mix named Luther who loves new friends and will keep your pets company and make them feel as welcome as possible.

Louisa C.
“We’ve known Louisa since she was a teenager and began dog sitting for us when we went on vacations in the summer. She took great care of our very spunky Labrador and was very responsible. We could not have asked for a better sitter. Louisa grew up with dogs and loves them. We are very sorry she has moved so far away!”
