About: I grew up owning and training dogs, mostly German Sherpards, which made me comfortable around all types of dogs. I am trained to teach your dog commands such as sit, stay, wait and heel. Due to my experience with bigger & sick dogs I am able to effectively calm an excited dog down during a walk and I know how to get creative when it comes to giving your doggo their medication. I believe a dog is an extension of their own and should be treated with the upmost respect, care and love. My schedule is flexible, I am available in the mornings, afternoons and mid evenings. I am currently in between jobs and have a lot of time during the week to care for your doggie. I have a fenced yard which is perfect for your dog to play in, I do not have carpeted floors which is beneficial in case there is an accident. I am also able to crate tracing your dog.

About: I have been pet sitting and taking care of animals since I was a teenager. I started out helping family and friends when they went out of town and then began volunteering at the local spay and neuter clinic. My job there was to help the animals in recovery who had just gotten out of surgery. I have always loved animals, especially cats and dogs. I am unavailable in the evenings but mornings and afternoons any day of the week work great for me. My most convenient days would be Tuesday’s and Fridays but I am open to weekends and other days as well I like to go over to the clients house and start by just getting to know the pet. If they are shy I try to hang out around the house for a little while until they get used to my presence and feel more comfortable around me. Once I have been established as a friend and not a threat I will take them on a walk to the park or play with any toys they have around. I enjoy walking so dogs that like long walks are a good fit for me.

About: My family always had dogs growing up as a kid and around the age of 10 I started working with family members to train dogs. After the Marine Corps I have had two working service animals. I feel a special bond with dogs and they know I put their well being first. Taking care of dogs and reinforcing positive training / habits, and exercise is my full-time job. I love seeing them happy and it makes me happy. I have a fenced in backyard as well as several comfortable lounge furniture pieces. I can also crate your Animal if they are trained for that. What sets me apart is not just boarding your Animal, but taking them out in nature, exercising and socializing with positive reinforcement.

About: My husband and I love dogs and look forward to hosting yours! I am a UX Designer and my husband works in clean energy development. We will care for your dog as if s/he were our own, and pay close attention to any special instructions. We have a 5 year old Pekingese who loves to play with other dogs. We only host one dog at a time, so your dog will get special attention. We enjoy playing and cuddling, in addition to the necessary essentials (walking, feeding, etc). We have a lot of space both indoors and out in our backyard, and we live a few blocks from the park. We have a toddler, and we don’t smoke. We keep our home clean and tidy. We are available for weekend care. We have 10 years of experience caring for dogs. We work mostly from home so we are flexible in terms of schedule. We walk our dog a few times a day and would walk yours with him. Your dog will hang with us and our dog, who is a friendly little guy. If for some reason they don’t get along (unlikely) we will keep them separated.

I also love cats and am excellent at making friends with them, even when they are suspicious. I live with my partner; they also love all sorts of critters and have cared for cats and dogs for years, both at home and with me. They sometimes come with me when their schedule allows, although I will be responsible for your pet. For house sits, we prefer to stay together. I work remotely in San Francisco and can do drop ins or walks throughout the day. I can also stay in your house and work if needed. I am a runner and am happy to take more energetic dogs for a run after I’ve met them a few times. I have cared for a wide range of pets with equally varied temperaments and focus on understanding the needs of each pet. About: I had two poodles for 10 years and I visit the dog park regularly and help train the dogs of some of the regulars. Dogs are like children - they just want love and attention - and I’m happy to give them! They’ll be walked on my breaks throughout the day, which is around 3 hours. Just think - they’ll be nice and tired! The way you like it! I am super good at calming dogs, playing with them, and identifying what they need, since I had two dogs myself for 10+ years. About: I have had a deep love of animals my whole life. During my upbringing I was taking care of dogs and cats of many sizes and ages at home. Since leaving home I have not yet been able to adopt my own pet, so I’ve settled for looking after the animals of my friends and family.
