“Avery has been our pet sitting and walking of our lhasa apso/cavalier king charles spaniel mix, Sammy, since April, 2023. Our boy is allergic to the world and wears a shirt and botties outside and shirt and socks inside. He also requires medications, special food, and frequent baths. Some pet sitters might be put off by Sammy's care requirements. Avery, however, never flinched and conscientiously cares for Sammy. Avery is very reliable, punctual, respectful, and personable. If you are flexable about the time for your drop in or walk, I may be the one for you! My overnight is generally 7pm-3am and provide a drop in midday (around 1pm-2pm) included in house sitting price. I treat them just like my own. Animals will be fed/given water daily to the owners specifications for sits. Doors will be checked twice to make sure they are locked. About: Dogs have been apart of my family since the day I was born. My family has a thing for Pit Bulls, and I’ve never known a day where there isn’t at least one living with us. We adopted our current dog when I was in first grade, and at 11 years old, she’ll get to see me bring home my diploma soon. I wasn’t her primary caregiver in the earlier years of course, but as time passed my parents grew busier with work and I was able to assume the responsibility. I have been able to work her schedule into mine including feeding, bathing, and exercise. She loves to be outside just as much as I do. Always by my side, she truly is my furry best friend…I can’t wait to meet yours! At the moment I am working a part time job two-three times a week. I have plenty of availability aside from this responsibility. This includes weekends! I’m available to feed, bathe, walk, and play with your pet. I understand pets aren’t always as cleanly as we’d want them to be, so I will be there to tidy up as well. Kristy did a wonderful job looking after my dog, Romeo. I felt comfortable going out of town for a few days knowing she would make sure he had his walks, food/water, play time, and love while I was away. Romeo was safe in her care and he was able to follow his normal routine in his own home which was a much better experience than boarding him. Kristy is kind, patient, and trustworthy. My home was kept tidy and she even vacuumed dog hair a couple of times. She was timely and thorough in everything I asked her to do. It was a pleasant surprise and so nice of her to send pictures and videos of Romeo, too! I will definitely be counting on her again in the future the next time I need someone to walk Romeo or look after him for a few days. He loved her and now they have made a new friendship. This was my first time using Rover, so I really didn't know what to expect. It was nice to work out the details with Kristy in a way that was comfortable for us all.
