She went above and beyond expectation in that she not only stuck to their everyday walking schedules, feeding schedules, medication schedules, and various special instructions for a couple of the pets…but she she also helped me out with watering a plant I was concerned about and even offering to stay longer if I needed her to. About: I have taken care of pets since I was 7 years old, including cats, dogs (large and small), rabbits, and hamsters. I have worked with senior dogs and puppies and all kinds of breeds. I worked 8 am-5 pm, however, I am up as early as 6 am for morning walks or available anytime after 5 pm for evening walks. My lunch break is also very flexible and I can stop by mid-day when needed. I have a huge fenced-in backyard with a lot of room to run around. I also have two airedales and one outside cat of my own.

About: I've grown up around animals. I was raised on a ranch around horses, cows, and dogs. I've had a cat as long as I can remember, too. My lifelong passion has been animal care. Recently, for the last 2 years, I've been a professional animal trainer, working with marine mammals and birds, with a foundation in operant conditioning and positive reinforcement. I work part-time as a marine mammal trainer, but my shifts are typically daytime on the weekends. My weekdays are typically free, as are my nights/evenings. My availability is fairly open. For house visits, I am more than willing to adapt to whatever is needed. I have animal training experience and can adapt to the individual needs of the animals and their owners. Outdoors, indoors, crating, etc. I am open and friendly, but know how to be firm.

“Shawn was such a fabulous pet sitter for Allie and Flash (and you can thank him for the updated "fun pictures" of Allie!). He communicated with me extremely well throughout the sit, and went above and beyond when it came to dealing with a couple unexpected things during the time he was there. He was so calm and confident, it really helped me know that everything was going well, Allie was safe and received lots of attention... and even Flash seemed very happy (knocking on the glass to let him know! LOL). Shawn also made sure my place was cleaned up again, and ready for the next pet sitter that was coming in before I am finished traveling. My Cooper wasn't feeling well, so he would hide but she made sure to check on him & see him before she left for the day and let me know how he was feeling & eating. She sent me lots of pictures and updates everyday which made me feel at ease, we were gone a week for a cruise. I would recommend her for any of your fur-babies needs.
