“Laura is amazing: she was the first person we trusted to stay with our baby puppy and older dog, and I felt 100% comfortable the entire time. Laura is an excellent communicator, kept me fully updated the entire time I was gone from the house, and she came prepared with her own supplies to walk and care for the pups (I was so impressed). Thank you Laura!!”
“Hannah did a great job watching my furbaby Toby and watching my home. She kept me updated on his behavior and sent pictures everyday. I will gladly us Hannah again.”

“Wow ..Makayla is the best. Took pics of my guy to show me how happy he was and could tell her took her so well. And left my house after 7 days pristine ams my boy happy and think he thought it was her coming thru the door vs us lol. My first time using this service and Makayla will be my first choice every time 💯👏”

“Kirk did a super job watching my dogs on Friday and Saturday. He walked them, took them on a golf cart ride and gave them loads of attention. He was flexible with my schedule and came over early both nights. We will definitely use him again for dog care.”

About: My whole life; Ive always been around animals. Ive been helping watch animals for over 2 years. Animals seem to love me for some reason and they really love to take over the bed leaving me with 1/8 of a blanket. They adore the cuddles and get spoiled rotten when Im around. I once dealt with 3 different pittys while also managing their spoiled breakfasts with Blueberries! They loved their carrots as snacks and always responded very well to their Commands. Playing with dogs is always so much fun and getting them out of the house to go on walks is even better. Its perfect for not only the doggys but for the person staying and watching the doggys. Im currently working Full Time as an Inventory Specialist and studying for my Pharmacy Tech Certification; but I also just stayed a week at my Aunts place to watch her beautiful pittys while she went on a Cruise and everything went Perfect! My days vary based on my work schedule but most of the time Im either getting out at 3PM or 7PM being the latest depending on days! She even mentioned the doggys missed me and were very melancholy when she got back which is unusual to say the least. I work during the day but also have additional help when im working just to make sure the doggies get to go out and enjoy outside before I get home. The rest of the night is all me! Between all of that; I also help with any additional assistance that may be needed; laundry, cleaning, etc you name it! I can easily crate your pets if needed to be. If not, Im usually up early feeding dogs and getting them outside at least twice before I leave for work. I also make sure to have additional assistance if needed to be to make sure the doggies are checked on during the day; fed with healthy snacks or getting to enjoy their fenced backyard. (If your pets see another animal; the command I use is "With me" and normally the dogs stay closer to me so they dont "lose their minds" over another dog". If anything else is needed; I can always stay additional days in order to make sure any animals are fed, litter boxes are cleaned, played with, etc.
“Nicole kept us updated and was communicative the entire time we were away, and we came home to an absolutely spotless house and a happy pup! This was our first time leaving our new puppy, but our minds were at ease and she was in such good hands that we were able to enjoy our trip. I would hire Nicole again in a heartbeat and we were so thankful!”

About: Animals have always been a meaningful part of my life, not just a job or responsibility. What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my genuine connection with animals and my ability to understand their individual needs and personalities. I take the time to build trust, especially with pets who may be shy or anxious, and I care for every animal as if they were my own. I am attentive, patient, and reliable, and I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident and at ease while they’re away. My goal is to provide consistent, compassionate care that keeps pets happy and owners reassured. I am a senior in college with a lot of free time, I love to be around and care for animals so this is a good fit for me. When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water at all times, receive plenty of attention and playtime, and get the rest they need. I pay close attention to their behavior and well-being, and I’m comfortable following specific instructions, including medication or special care needs. I also keep the home clean and secure, and I communicate regularly with owners to provide updates and peace of mind.
“Damian and Brittany are great pet lovers! Damian watched our Rhodesian Ridgeback for the first time and we couldn’t be more pleased or comfortable with him watching our boy. He is trustworthy, patient and very communicative! Our pup can be shy and standoffish around new people he meets, but he took to Damian and I’m sure they will become great friends with every subsequent visit. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with choosing Damian!”

“Deb is great. She is very patient and kind. Even though they had not met, our dog was not happy when Deb showed up without us. She just waited him out and they had a great time together. We will be using her again.”

“Monica was absolutely phenomenal! She made sure to do a meet and great, and was very thorough with asking about the details of my dog's care. She was clearly very experienced. My sweet girl wasn't left alone for even a moment! She sent plenty of pictures and made sure to communicate about everything along the way. Lovely person and amazing pet sitter! Highly recommend!!”

“Avery is the absolute best!!!! He is the only one I trust to stay with our senior dog and senior cat. He checks in with updates and pictures on a regular basis - and the animas love him. Highly recommended!!!”

“Cheryl was truly amazing! She was so good with our dogs and took incredible care of our home while we were out of town. I could not recommend her more! We will absolutely be using her again in the future :)”

“I cannot say enough about the level of service I receive when Darian comes to watch my dog. She is attentive, responsible and communicates daily to keep me reassured. This morning was the first morning since my return from a week long work trip away and my dog woke and ran to the guest room look for her. That speaks volumes. Thank you Darian!”

“Erin is phenomenal- She was so on top of everything, kept my dogs busy and calm and put my mind so at ease so I could enjoy some time with my dad! She was warm, kind and super engaged from the initial request to her stay with my pack and could not recommend her enough!”

About: Hi, I am Alexis! I am a life long animal lover and pet sitter for the last decade. Although I specialize in large dogs and heavy pullers I welcome all pets! I have many "regulars" both on the Rover.com app and private clients who trust and depend on me and I am so fortunate to have them. I have reliable transportation and pride myself on dependability. I will care for your pets the way I would want mine to be treated. I am owned by a Pitbull named Athena and an Orange Tabby Cat named Cheeto. I also raise Quail. I have extensive livestock experience. I grew up riding Western Pleasure and working in show barns. I am happiest covered in hair and dirt! I also showed rabbits and hogs as a youth. I have spent the last 15 years employed with Publix Supermarkets where I enjoy my 4am shifts and making bread. I can't wait to meet your babies! I have a full time job and pets of my own. If you are flexable about the time for your drop in or walk, I may be the one for you! My overnight is generally 7pm-3am and provide a drop in midday (around 1pm-2pm) included in house sitting price. I treat them just like my own. Animals will be fed/given water daily to the owners specifications. Doors will be checked twice to make sure they are locked. I am the only one in or out of the clients home during my sits, ever. Clean background check provided by Rover.

Ashlyn stayed with our "girls", Macy (mini doxie) and Ivy "blonde lab" for 7 days 6 nights. She was very responsive to any communication sent and even sent pictures of our pups to show us they were comfortable and happy in her care. Hope to have her care for them again in the future!

Monica went above and beyond with my babies while we were out of town including taking care of plants. She shared pictures and updates often and they took to her immediately. I felt very comfortable the whole time. They might be disappointed we're back home! I have 2 larger rescues, one who pulls on a leash and one with leash aggression and she managed them expertly! I'd definitely recommend her and use her again. It's so nice to return home to happy dogs and a clean house!
Jeileen was very kind and clearly cared about our dog. We loved that she included him in her daily life and even took him along to visit family — he came home happy and well socialized. The only reason for four stars instead of five is communication. There were a few times we had important questions about his medications and didn’t get any response, which was stressful. Overall a good experience, and with more consistent communication it would be great.
