About: I love all animals and have taken care of pets since I was in elementary school. I have fostered abused and abandoned dogs, and have had 4 in the past. I am extremely comfortable with all dogs (any age, any breed) and am gentle with the more timid ones, who have often gone through unfortunate life experiences. I am also comfortable taking care of kittens and cats. I have a medical degree will be sure to take exceptional care of your dog’s or cat's health needs. I am comfortable giving oral medication or injections. I don't have any pets of my own at this time, and would love to be a caretaker for yours! :) I only make myself available on rover when I have the full day off of work. This ensures 100% of my time is dedicated to caring for your pet and making them comfortable when their favorite people/ pet parents are away. I always ask pet parents what furniture (if any) the pet is allowed on before going into their home. If I am administering food or medication, I will confirm the amount before the visit. If the dogs have joint issues, I typically stay away from parks where dogs might be tempted to jump on hills/rocks. All in all, I ask the pet parents what special needs their pet has (or wants) so I can make sure the pet is comfortable and without any worry.
“Anna did so well with my nervous and reactive dog. She was patient and took the time needed to get to know my dog so their visit went smoothly when she went alone to drop in! She also took the cutest photos!”

“Hannah did an amazing job taking care of my two kitty's when I needed to take a last minute trip out of town. Both cats instantly loved her, and she did a great job keeping me in the loop about what time she would be seeing them each day. Her Rover card updates always made me smile! I’m so thankful to have found Hannah and have already started talking to her about the next time we can work together!”

About: Excited to be trying rover out! Brand new on this app. I’m a life long dog lover and grew up with Golden Retrievers. As a child and teenager, I would envision living near the beach in Florida with a healthy and active lifestyle surrounded by dogs, so made it happen. My first job in high school was at a Veterinary Clinic in Hopewell, NJ. After high school I attended West Virginia University for two years. Being away at college made me miss my dogs too much, and I found class too boring to sit still through. In 2012 I came home from school and got a job at St.Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in North Branch, NJ. That was a life changing experience and gave me a soft spot for shelter dogs but most of all Pit Bulls and senior dogs. I also gained experience with training and behavior modification. During that time I adopted my soul dog Binx , an American Staffordshire Terrier, and my 20lb black cat, Mr.Ruger. After moving to Florida in 2013 I worked at Love My Dog Resort in St.Petersburg while fostering and volunteering for Passion4Pits rescue. In 2019 I began calling Volusia County home. I worked as a personal trainer and physical therapy aide while living in a condo. After moving into a house beachside in Ormond with a fully fenced yard in 2026, I am fulfilling my top passion- caring for animals! The best part about being a pet sitter is getting to borrow and experience all of the different breeds and personality quirks. From Chihuahuas to Rottweilers, to Pits and Poodles, I loves ‘em all! I also loves cats and coincidentally moved into a cat colony she cares for outside. I know pets are family (often better), and should be treated accordingly. I will treat your fur babies as if they’re her own, and probably give them a new nickname or make up a song about them during their stay. I am experienced with all demographics of dogs (even Hurricane Katrina survivors) and comfortable with all breeds and personalities. I boards dogs in my home, offers in home pet sitting, drop in’s for walks (or runs!) and companionship. I care for an elderly woman part time 3 days a week and the rest of the time I’m home with the dogs! My life revolves around the dogs. I try to keep their schedule and routine as close to what it is at home. I keep them as comfy as possible to help them feel loved and secure!

Really appreciate your help with my fur babies. This time included 2 trips to the vet. To be able to be far from home and know that my pets are well taken care of,with a full report and pictures after each visit gave me a great sense of peace. Thank you so much!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
