I understand how nerve-racking leaving your pet with someone else can be. I will do everything possible to help ease your mind while they stay with me. About: I've grown up caring for family pets like dogs, fish, turtles, hamsters, and frogs. I've always enjoyed taking care of family and friends pet's while their away, including: cats, geckos, and horses. There's never been a time in my life where I didn't have at least two pets. I started at a general practice veterinary clinic assisting with general veterinary procedures as well as caring for pets who were boarding at the facility. I have a very flexible schedule and can do full time and part time depending on what your needs are including multiple drops in visits or walks! About: Excited to be on Rover, brand new to this app, although my family has been pet sitting for years. We moved to this area a year ago. I grew up on a farm in Western Massachusetts and my dad was a vet, so we had plenty of animals around! It was a blast and gave me a strong passion of caring for animals at a young age. I helped my dad out with his veterinary office in high school, until moving to Florida. I’ve also been a shelter worker and veterinary technician and my family and I have fostered and rescued countless dogs and cats! I am kind of crazy animal dude. My teenage daughter shares my love for animals as well and loves helping out. I don’t board more than two dogs a night because I have my own, unless they are from the same family. Then we will board up to four. Please only dog friendly dogs. Because my home has a dog door, I ask for no escape artists and/or dogs with severe separation anxiety. The privacy fence is 8”, but dogs will have access to both indoors and outdoors having the doggy door, as long as they aren’t too chubby to fit, which sometimes happens! I used to be a tree climber. Unfortunately, I fell off a roof a few years ago and broke both of my feet. Thankfully I’m able to walk and be active again so I still do tree jobs part time, but I’m home more often than not, so decided to turn my love for animals into something. My daughter turns 15 next month and shares our passion for animals. Between myself, my wife, and our daughter, someone is almost always home. We are total animal people and all educated in animal behavior. I have a fully fenced yard and a playful pup who is still respectful to lower energy/smaller/senior dogs. I have a dog door, dogs are allowed on the furniture. They are very spoiled here!

About: I work from home full-time and spend most weekends at home too, aside from stepping out for a few hours here and there to run errands/be social. Your dog will have PLENTY of company and attention throughout the day...no long lonely hours here! 🐾 My home is quiet, pet-friendly, and has a fully fenced patio for fresh air and outside time. I also like to know your dog's normal routine and anything that will help them feel comfortable while they're here. The standard I am happy to watch 2 dogs at time, BUT please know if I'm watching dogs from different families, I'll ALWAYS check with you before accepting another dog so there are no surprises and everyone is comfortable. I'm happy to watch up to 3 dogs at a time....IF they already know each other. I've grown up with dogs, absolutely love them, and have pretty much become the go-to person for my family and friends when they need a pet sitter. :) Communication is BIG with me, so expect photos and updates while you're away. I knew I liked knowing what my dog was up to when I was gone, so I completely get it! I also prefer a meet & greet before the first stay whenever possible. Nothing formal, just a chance for everyone to meet and make sure it's a good fit. For overnight stays, crate-trained dogs are ideal but definitely not required. I can set up a comfortable gated sleeping area instead. I just prefer no free roaming around the house overnight. Before booking, please make sure your dog's profile is updated and includes a photo. About: We only accept ONE dog family at a time, so your pup will get our undivided attention & love. We also currently don’t have any dogs of our own. I grew up volunteering at hospitals and humane societies. We’ve worked with rescues and have fostered many animals. We know how to handle the pups that need extra patience, love & space. All our family pets have been adopted or have found us. We’re very patient & loving and have a knack at working with animals from horses, dogs, cats & birds. London has honors classes and lots of school work, so this is her way of earning $$ for a car 🚗 & college 👩‍🏫. With my supervision, of course. We’d prefer a meet and greet, even if it’s just video, to get to know each other, especially if there are any social or anxiety issues with your pup. I work as a court reporter full-time & thanks to technology, most of my work is now done from home. Most of my jobs that do take me out of the house, I’m only gone for about 4 hours total. London is in high school so gone during the day, but does do some online classes also. Between the two of us, the most your pup would be alone is 4 hours, if at all. When my daughter is home, she will be the main caretaker as this is her way to make money. Our yard is fenced with a 5 foot tall fence, but we do live on the Tomoka River. There is the option to walk your pup in the front of the house also. We will try, to the best of her ability, to follow the rules you’ve setout for your pup at your house. We want them to feel at home and make sure they don’t go home with any new habits that you may not enjoy.
