Calm, happy & loved while you away!

Hi I’m Cheryl! Rover is my full time job and I offer doggy daycare and boarding in my home. As a dog mom myself, I know how hard it can be to find a trustworthy and reliable sitter to leave our pups with when we go on vacation. My main goal as a Rover Sitter is to give you peace of mind knowing that your dog is receiving the best care while you are on vacation or while you are at work! That means daily pictures (and occasionally videos) of your dog playing, relaxing, and having the best time! I am passionate about what I do, and I love keeping you updated with pictures and videos of the fun activities that your dog participates in while they are here. We have a very large, fully fenced back yard with plenty of room to run and play. The dogs are always supervised when playing. We always have fun dogs over here playing so it is extremely important that your dog is friendly and gets along well with other dogs. If you are excited to see your dog running and playing chase with all their new friends, this is the place for them! My goal is to send home a happy and tired pup at the end of their stay🐾 I take safety very seriously. When your dog stays with us, I take several precautions to keep everyone safe:
 - All dogs are fed separately in their crates if they have one or in a separate room. - Dogs are never left together unattended. All dogs are separated if I need to run a quick errand. *** All dogs over 1.5-years old must be fixed*** - We do not accept dogs that howl or cry as we need sleep too. - We are unable to host dogs that have high anxiety. THINGS TO KNOW WHEN BOOKING: - Please have your dog’s Rover bio up to date. - I do not require that we have a meet-and-greet. If your dog gets along well with other dogs, I am comfortable meeting you and your pup at the time of drop-off. - All dogs need to have a collar with an I.D. tag. - The ONLY thing you should bring is enough food/meds for their stay along with your dog on a leash. All food/meds should be pre-portioned in disposable sandwich bags (if portions are different for each meal, please label them). Please put any meds in the same bag with the meal it should be taken with. If your dog eats canned food, don’t worry about dividing the meals out. - When you are headed over, please text me with the time your GPS says you will arrive at my house. For example: “On our way, we will be there at 8:42”. Message me again “here” when you arrive, and I will come out to meet you and your pup. Please do not knock on the door or ring the doorbell as this will excite all the dogs inside. We are so excited to have your dog come stay with us! They are going to have so much fun! What I would like to know about your dog: Does your dog have any exercise or other physical limitations? Are they up to date on vaccinations and shots? Do they have any current injuries I should be aware of (limping, cuts, tumors)? Any former injuries we should be cautious of? Please make sure your dogs profile is up to date . Please include a picture of your dog in their bio. For house visits & for me staying over at your home I do not charge per animal but rather for my time spent at your home which works out far more reasonable for families that have quite a few pets that all need love and taking care of. I look forward to meeting you and your pet soon.

I am so happy to say that my two dogs just came home from spending 3 great days with Cheryl. As soon as they got in the car they were peaceful and passed out before we got home. Cheryl was great with sending daily updates and photos to see how our guys were doing. She has a beautiful home for dogs to play, rest, and feel "at home". Our reservation was last minute and she gladly found time for a meet and greet before we left our dogs with her. I highly recommend her and would feel confident trusting her with my dogs again. Thank you!

Cheryl is the best! We couldn’t travel unless we knew our dogs were in the best hands, and she takes such wonderful care of them. They come home happy and tired!

Cheryl is AMAZING! I have 3 feisty babies who just love to be rambunctious and Cheryl was very patient and loving to them. I can see they trusted her because the boy is very fearful of people and he came back so happy. You can tell they all had so much fun because they were worn out and slept well especially for ME, I was able to have a break and sleep well myself. Thank you Cheryl, we will do this again.

Cheryl watched our dog Myla for two nights while we were staying in Ormond Beach, and she was absolutely great. We chose her because our accommodations didn’t allow dogs, but we still wanted the flexibility to pick Myla up and take her to the beach with us, which worked out perfectly. Cheryl was wonderful with Myla, and she got along great with the other dogs too. It was clear Myla had a really good time. We would highly recommend Cheryl to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

Safety, trust & environment

When your pet stays at my home they are treated like family & will be included in everything that we do. If I stay at your home I will follow your routine that you have set up for your babies.

A typical day

I have a pretty large yard so we will play ball out there if that is what they like to do or if they enjoy a walk we can do that as we have a really quiet neighborhood. Walks are normally in the morning or later in the afternoon when it has cooled down in the hotter months.
