“Steve provided many pictures of Luke throughout the day and answered all my questions very quickly. Luke is one tired boy now, so I’m sure he had tons of fun playing with his new friends. Luke is most definitely coming back and can’t wait to hear all about his upcoming daycare days. Thank you, Steve!!”

“Daymee took very good care of our two small dogs. They could play with Daymee's dog Roxy and stare at her cat Nina. Daymee sent a good amount of updates. Her schedule is flexible and could accommodate ours. The dogs had a lot of fun. She even brushed them, so their fur was all soft and shiny when we got them back.”

“Victoria is wonderful. I have a very high anxiety dog that isn’t good in new situations and Victoria was so patient and understanding. She spend time trying to settle her in and gave her lots of attention ..and was so responsive to text messages. I am very happy I found her and plan to Victoria when I am down here.”

About: I grew up with & have a love for animals. I have over 10 years experience taking care of clients pets, which includes: birds, bunnies, cats, dogs, fish, & guinea pigs. I am a mother of 2 and work from home part-time. With the occasional errand (i.e. going grocery shopping, to Dr's appointments, etc), we are always home. My Home has a large, fenced in yard to exercise in. There are a variety of toys - bones, plushies, squeaky, etc - to play with. Plenty of space & beds to relax. Crates to accommodate furbabies of all sizes. They also have their own personal space to eat.
“We left Saylor, our 10-year-old mixed breed terrier, twice with Brittany during our 4-month stay in the Daytona Beach area. We were super satisfied with the care and affection Brittany provided, and it was obvious that Saylor enjoyed both stays. Brittany is kind, compassionate, caring, responsive, and responsible. We’ll seek her out for pet sitting the next time we’re in herb area.”

About: In my opinion, pets are part of the family. I have always been around and cared for dogs since I was a child. I had my own dog for 12 years and after she passed away we have adopted 2 more dogs, a senior Spanador and a Pekingese puppy. Any furbaby that is under my care I make sure they’re fed and walked regularly and of course loved a lot. I work from home so I’m always available for snuggles and snacks. I’m available weekday afternoon/evenings and weekends. I’m also available early morning (before 9 am). We tend to be a home bodies so boarding for multiple days is not a problem. We have a nice backyard and quiet neighborhood for walks. I work from home so am available 24/7 for snuggles, potty breaks and snacks. We are home bodies and will be home with your pupper majority if not all of the time. We have a fenced in yard and nice quiet neighborhood perfect for walks and our house is open floor plan for puppers who need extra space.
“Deborah did a great job with our doggies Zoie and Lexi. Our dogs had fun times playing with her dog Marigold and running around the yard a lot. She sent pictures each day and we could see our dogs were having a ball. We highly recommend Deborah and will certainly be using her again.”

“My second time using Allyne and she was once again a great dog sitter! She took care of my fur pack and kept me updated throughout their stay with wonderful photos. Already planning to use her a third time!”

About: I have been pet sitting for friends and family for 7 years. I lives with a golden retriever for 6 months and took him on daily walks. I get along well with everyone and put safety first! I also worked for a company the last year that sells dog park equipment, there were about 5 dogs on the office daily and I would make sure they went out when they notified me they had to go, keeping their water bowl full. I run my own health and wellness business from my home and online. We are relocating soon so I am looking for any and all extra work where I can continue to work my business. Right now I’m flexible the whole day as I am working from my phone with a few in person visits. I like to give lots of love to the pets, I make sure they have water at all times in their bowl. I like to treat them with ice cubes as a treat on a hot summer day (if they are big enough!) I also like to make sure I know what their signs are that they need to go out. Reading their energy and needs is a quality trait I have.
About: I have had multiple dogs and pets throughout the years, i'm at home dad, happy to help other families that are going on vacations, or for any other reason. I am currently a stay at home dad. So I have time available to be here to take care of your pets. My children are 10 and 12 years old. I have a fenced in yard and crates where I can easily put the dog. Have a pool in my back yard. Kids love dogs.
“We appreciated that Bonnie was very flexible with the pick up & drop off times, and was quick with responding to our texts. Thanks for taking good care of our pup.”

About: I have had 2 dogs and a cat for the past 13 years and they are an extension of my family. Since college I’ve cared for my friend’s animals while they’ve gone on vacation or out of town. I’ve dropped into their home every few hours and have hosted them at my place. While caring for your animals, their physical safety is a top priority. Whether it be while they’re interacting with other animals at the dog park, or we bump into another pup while on a walk, I will always make sure they are well and no harm comes their way. I’m currently working part time so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your furry babies. Taking a long walk outdoors is a part of my daily routine. I love to care for animal’s needs from walking them, feeding them, petting them, or giving animals time to interact with other animals at a local park.
“We were so thankful to find Brian for a last minute daycare request. He worked with our schedule and we were completely comfortable leaving the dogs. His fenced yard was enjoyed by the pups and he sent pics for us to see our four leggeds thru the day. I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.”

About: All my life i've had dogs big and small and love to take care of them, i've taken care of other family members pets as well and friends. I don't have any other jobs currently I am just in college so I only will be gone monday, wednesday, and friday 10am-12pm. Other then that my schedule is open. I live in a big apartment that is pet friendly and has a big yard for pets to play and go to the bathroom, there is also many walking paths for dogs. I have experience with dogs with injures like a broken leg and surgery.
About: I come from a lifelong animal-loving household and have shared my life with cats, dogs, and many other animals my entire life. I’ve also been caring for animals professionally for over 20 years. While living in South Florida, I built a large pet-sitting clientele while working as a veterinary technician in a general practice. After relocating to Volusia County, I spent 16 years working in emergency veterinary medicine as both a technician and a manager. I’m now based in Palm Coast, new to Rover, and working toward making pet sitting my full-time career. I have a strong understanding of medical conditions and the specialized care some pets require. I know how stressful it can be to trust a stranger with your pet—especially one with medical or special needs. I’m experienced in administering medications, giving insulin injections, performing blood glucose checks for unregulated diabetics, and managing feeding tubes. I’m trained to safely handle pets with medical needs, behavioral quirks, anxiety, and specific routines. I’ve also had my own pets with conditions including heart disease, kidney failure, diabetes, urinary blockages, and seizures, so I truly understand the worry that can come with leaving a medically fragile pet in someone else’s care. My goal is for you to rest easy knowing your pet is in experienced, compassionate hands. When entering and exiting your home, I take extra precautions by ensuring your pet is safely away from doors to reduce any risk of accidental escapes. I also remove pet waste and dispose of empty food cans off-site, so you return home to a clean, odor-free space. I’m committed to providing safe and loving care while you’re away. If you need services on a day I currently have blocked off, please feel free to message me. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your needs as I continue growing my clientele. Because I’ve spent 20 years in veterinary medicine, caring for animals is second nature. I’m used to structured routines, time-sensitive tasks, and being fully attentive to each pet’s needs. I schedule my days to ensure I can provide dependable, high-quality care—whether it’s once-a-day check-ins, multiple walks, or pets that need extra support or monitoring. Pets in my home get treated like part of the family. I create a relaxed environment where they can settle in quickly, get lots of love, and feel comfortable. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, and quiet time. Whether they want snuggles on the couch or their own cozy spot to relax, I make sure they feel safe and cared for throughout their stay.

About: I am a Registered Nurse and Biomedical Engineer. To pay my studies on me of my professor come to me to take care of his dogs while he was on vacation. Since then I work with different clients from the university and start volunteering in a animal shelter. Is there when I realize that I take care of the animals as send as humans. God send them to heal and make us company. Dogs therapy have been proved to help patients to heal. Why not treat them as they deserve. They make part of our family. After volunteering in the animal shelter I start receiving a lot of volume of clients because the way I take care of my patients is the same way sometimes even higher, the care I provide to animals.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
