“Deborah did a great job with our doggies Zoie and Lexi. Our dogs had fun times playing with her dog Marigold and running around the yard a lot. She sent pictures each day and we could see our dogs were having a ball. We highly recommend Deborah and will certainly be using her again.”

“Steve was absolutely amazing! He patiently helped us through the concerns we had as pet parents, so we felt very comfortable leaving our chihuahua Enrique. After picking up Enrique he was whining as we left in the car and as he looked at Steve walking away (he wanted to stay back)! Enrique had a blast, Steve’s house is beautiful and super clean, and Steve was very gracious. 5 Stars and we will be back!”

“This was our first time leaving Wally in daycare, and we had a wonderful experience. Tracy welcomed him into her home and made us feel completely at ease. We really appreciated the frequent photos and videos throughout the day, which gave us great peace of mind. There were other dogs in the home, and it was clear that care was taken to thoughtfully separate dogs when needed. Wally had a great time and came home happy and completely exhausted — he’s been sound asleep ever since. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend.”

“Joshua was amazing! He took my dog to the dog park daily, sent many photos and videos, and I was never worried while she was in his care! His dog Archie is also super sweet and was a great playmate! I highly recommend Joshua!”

“Tamara is the best. This was our first time using Rover and doing doggy day care for Kona. Kona came home happy & well exercised, and slept most of the evening. She clearly had a great time and we’ll definitely book day care again. Thank you Tamara!! 😁”

“Brittany was wonderful with our dog Murphy today! We appreciate your care and courtesy of our dog. We would definitely use Brittany again . We do live in Savannah, GA but we do have family in the area. She’s great, caring and professional. Thank you. Doranne and Stephen.”
“We were so thankful to find Brian for a last minute daycare request. He worked with our schedule and we were completely comfortable leaving the dogs. His fenced yard was enjoyed by the pups and he sent pics for us to see our four leggeds thru the day. I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.”

About: I LOVE ALL DOGS! I live in a community with a couple of private parks, one right across the street! My community also borders with a dog friendly state preserve where I walk every day and would love to take your dog as well. I've been helping family and friends with their dogs for years and had two myself, until recently when my very old dog passed. I now have one senior lab/rescue that is very well trained. It is very quiet where I live and we have no major streets close, if dogs are well behaved they can be unleashed in the park, I always pick up after the dogs. I give good treats and lots of loving! We also have nature trails in our community.
About: I have had pet dogs and cats my entire life. I have cared for many different temperaments and sizes of dogs as well as many cats! I have a calming presence and do great with all ages of animals! I have fostered special needs dogs and senior dogs in the past. I know how to administer medication as I frequently cared for a family members dog who had diabetes. I quickly fall in love with every pup and kitty I’ve ever taken care of! I am a student online at night so my days are very free. I wake up around 6 so perfect for those early walks, and am free the remainder of the day for walks and sitting and even available most nights if you are close by! I keep everything off the floor to avoid pets snacking on unsafe things. I don’t give snacks unless approved by pet parents for those with sensitive bellies. My cat is a dog lover and gets along well with all dogs big and small and other cats.
About: I have been a dog owner the last 28 years and most recently worked 13 months as a dog handler at a large pet resort. I have been around and handled lots of breeds, sizes and temperaments. I work from home as an entrepreneur and am available to care for pets staying in my home as if they are my own. I am also flexible in my schedule. I have turned my children's old play room into a dog room. It has its own entrance from a fenced in patio. I try my best to daily take every dog on 1 walk, one on one play time inside and outside. I also have a second space for a cozy private stay. The 6x9 Little Room is bright and a perfect spot for medium to small dogs to relax and play. I have space for dogs who are crate trained as well in my spare bedroom. While dogs are not allowed in my main living area — every dog room has its own exit outside. I treat every dog who stays with me as if it’s my own.
About: In my opinion, pets are part of the family. I have always been around and cared for dogs since I was a child. I had my own dog for 12 years and after she passed away we have adopted 2 more dogs, a senior Spanador and a Pekingese puppy. Any furbaby that is under my care I make sure they’re fed and walked regularly and of course loved a lot. I work from home so I’m always available for snuggles and snacks. I’m available weekday afternoon/evenings and weekends. I’m also available early morning (before 9 am). We tend to be a home bodies so boarding for multiple days is not a problem. We have a nice backyard and quiet neighborhood for walks. I work from home so am available 24/7 for snuggles, potty breaks and snacks. We are home bodies and will be home with your pupper majority if not all of the time. We have a fenced in yard and nice quiet neighborhood perfect for walks and our house is open floor plan for puppers who need extra space.
“My babes are always excited to go see Katlyn. She’s very easy to communicate with, fairly priced, and I never feel uncomfortable leaving them with her. She’s been wonderful!”
About: I’ve taken in many abandoned animals and have either kept them or found them loving homes. I once had a baby possum and pet goose that I raised. I am retired and would love to take care of your fur baby on a regular basis so that they can get to know me and trust me. I have fenced in yard and I am home throughout the day I will only take 1 fur baby a day unless they are siblings of the same household. I would prefer for them to stay at my home if you need overnight boarding but I can most certainly stay at yours if that is more comfortable for you and your pet family.
About: I have had multiple dogs and pets throughout the years, i'm at home dad, happy to help other families that are going on vacations, or for any other reason. I am currently a stay at home dad. So I have time available to be here to take care of your pets. My children are 10 and 12 years old. I have a fenced in yard and crates where I can easily put the dog. Have a pool in my back yard. Kids love dogs.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
