About: Hi there — I'm a lifelong dog lover based in Daytona Beach, FL, with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs through rescue, fostering, and my own home. I'd love to be the person your pup looks forward to seeing. Personal Experience I've shared my home with dogs continuously since 2017, so daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and all the little quirks of dog ownership are second nature to me. Rescue and Volunteer Experience • Dog walker at Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge — walking shelter dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. • Dog walker at Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta — comfortable handling large and giant breeds with confidence and calm leash control. • Foster for Bernese Mountain Dog Rescue — providing in-home care, daily exercise, and a safe transition for dogs awaiting adoption. • Foster transport coordinator for Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid-Florida — organizing safe, low-stress transport for dogs on their way to forever homes. What I Bring to Every Walk and Visit • A calm, patient approach with anxious, shy, or high-energy dogs • Strong leash skills and awareness of canine body language • Reliable, on-time arrivals and clear communication with owners • Photo and video updates so you can see your dog enjoying their day • Comfort handling puppies, seniors, and dogs with medical or behavioral needs I am available seven days a week — mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Flexible scheduling for one-time walks, regular routines, or last-minute requests. I treat every dog like my own — whether that means a brisk adventure walk, a sniff-filled stroll, or simply quiet company and a belly rub. Your dog's safety, happiness, and routine are my top priorities.
“Where do I start? By saying thank you, honestly. I'm not a fan if leaving my home and basically my kids to someone new, it's an ordeal. But having found Angela here had changed that. I can now go a travel without having to worry about my little ones, she went above and beyond with her care and services. Tremendous care, on time, true to her word, and above all she's super cool, and with her ffet in the ground. Book her and forget about the rest! Thank you!!!”

“Brenda did a excellent job taking care of my friend (kat) once again. This is the second time watching over him. Everything went as planned. Trustworthy and professional as always. Always on time and will send you plenty of pics of your pet. Good job!! Take care. Bato😻”

About: We have taken care of many dogs and cats throughout the years, for friends, family, and neighbors and are very comfortable caring for all sizes and temperaments! We have a back unit in our home that will serve as a dedicated spot for your fur babies to eat, sleep, and relax in comfort with us. We have a large fenced in backyard for them to play in too! We love to take daily walks and give plenty of attention to any pet we care for! One of us is work from home, and the other is hybrid with 3 days at home, so someone will always be in the house to attend to pets. We are free any day of the week, and also open to multiple overnight stays if needed! We have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room to play in, and a separated back unit to give your pet a dedicated space where they have plenty of space to move around in. We also have many toys and treats for cats and dogs. We are located near the beach in a very walkable area, and will take your pet for frequent walks as well.
“We were very pleased with Stacey’s care of Emma for the long weekend. She had a good understanding of cat needs, and gave us twice daily photos and updates on the time of her visits. We feel confident in her ability as a good cat sitter and hope to book her again when needed.”

About: Hello! My name is Victoria and I have a passion for caring for animals. I have been pet sitting for 15 years, it was actually my first job! From growing up on a farm, I have developed a deep love and respect for animals of all shapes and sizes. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages. I have loads of experience caring for senior dogs and cats; including helping to keep them comfortable as well as medication administration. When it comes to puppies and kittens, I do have experience with training. I currently work from home and make my own schedule so I have ample time to care for your pets as well as an extremely flexible schedule. I’m available everyday and happy to spend time caring for and loving on your pets! Working with rover is something that fills my cup and makes my days brighter! Each and every pet I come into contact with, I love and treat as I would my own; and trust me, mine are well loved and spoiled! Animals bring me so much joy and it’s such a treat to spend time with them. To me, safety, kindness, and gentleness are nonnegotiables when it comes to caring for other people’s pets. I truly believe that pets are our babies and such an important part of the family. As far as coming into your home, everything will be treated with respect as well as keeping everything tidy as we play. As far as caring for pets in my own home, I have a medium sized fenced in yard so lots of room to run and play, as well as a single floor house so no worries about stairs.
“As a first-time Rover user, I was naturally a bit nervous about leaving my dog with someone new. Paul completely put my mind at ease from the start! He even explained how I would be able to see on the app where the walk happened and how it would notify me in real time. His communication was exceptional - he sent regular updates and pictures during the walks, which really helped calm my anxiety. It meant so much to see my dog happy and well cared for. Paul was also consistently punctual, which I really appreciated. If you’re looking for a reliable, communicative dog walker who truly cares about your pet (especially if you’re new to Rover), I can’t recommend Paul highly enough!”

I also volunteer at Pet Alliance so I can handle dogs that try to run, or are anxious or nervous dogs. I take my dog on a walk or to the dog park at least twice a day. My pet is not just my pet he is a part of the family and deserves love and respect like anyone else. I have a very friendly dog who loves to have friends over or go over to friends. I don’t mind dogs on the couch or in bed the more snuggles the better!
About: I have had 2 dogs for 8 years now while also pet sitting friends’ cats and dogs. I can walk, feed, potty break, and most importantly pet your dog(s) with utmost care and love. I am a college student at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University home for summer with no prior commitments. I will be home until late August. I can work any day of the week at any time. I will care for your pet per parents wants and needs including walking them and letting them outside with or without a leash depending on owners house and preferences.

About: I am a cat grandma currently, but have had many furry babies of my own over the years. I am very trustworthy and look forward to caring for your furry family as if they are my own. I am currently home full time (remote) and can easily care for your furry baby or babies in your home where they are most comfortable. I am available for feedings, potty and play time! If they are able walks and play time will definitely be part of our routine. I encourage you to let me know what they love and don't love so I can easily adapt to their routine! My main goal as a Rover Sitter is to give you peace of mind knowing that your dog is receiving the best care while you are on vacation or while you are at work! That means daily pictures (and occasionally videos) of your dog playing, relaxing, and having the best time! I am passionate about what I do, and I love keeping you updated with pictures and videos of the fun activities that your dog participates in while they are in my care.

About: I was born in Daytona but moved to Louisiana when I was 12. We lived on a huge farm with many dogs, chickens, ducks, and cats. They were always fed, cared for, and loved. Animals are so loving and just want to be loved and cared for, and as your pet sitter I can promise you they will be treated with amazing care. Every morning I wake up around 10am and get myself ready for the day, this will give me the time to take your sweet baby out to use the restroom and go for a nice walk, around 2pm I usually relax at the house and watch tv, clean, and start getting dinner ready, which gives me time to hang out with your baby and also take your sweet animals out again to use the restroom and give them a bath if needed as well. Then I begin winding down at around 10pm, which gives me one last time to take them out and let them get their beauty rest. I have a couch your babies can lay on and they are allowed on the furniture. I have plenty of water and food for them and have loads of comfortable things they can lay on with toys they can play with and enjoy.
About: I have had pets since the age of 7. I have worked in animal rescue, vet clinics, and pet boarding. I have loved dogs my entire life! I have fostered many puppies and adult dogs and still get updates from their adopters, which I keep on my fridge 🥰 I have 3 of my own dogs at home, all of which are pet friendly but will be kept separate from yours if boarding or visiting! Since I have dogs of my own I am used to walking them and taking them to the dog park. I know basic medical care such as distributing medications and feeding. Pets are a part of my life and that will never change. Pets in my home are on special diets. They get fed separately. They sleep in their dog beds and/or my bed depending on how they feel 😆 they get regular walks and get outside yard time in our yard which is privately fenced. My dogs are polite and will host graciously and when I am boarding other pets those pets will take precedence.
About: I have always loved animals and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I have experience came for both dogs and cats, including feeding routine routines, playtime, walk, litter, box here, and following specific instructions from pet parents. As a pet owner myself, I know that every animal has their own personality and needs. I pay attention to the little things, including changes in behavior, eating habits, and routines, because those details matter when caring for someone’s pet. I am responsible, patient, in detail oriented. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away. I am currently a doctor of chiropractic student, and my schedule lost flexibility for plan pet care visits. I’m able to provide reliable care while maintaining consistency with your pets routine. I understand how important it is for pets that have stability, and I’ll make sure they receive the attention and care they need while you are away. When caring for pets in their home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I will follow all instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medication’s, potty breaks, and any special needs. I want pet to feel comfortable and safe in their own environment while their owners are away.

We had a wonderful experience with Brenda! She took such great care of our cats while we were away and gave us complete peace of mind. She sent us wonderful photos and updates, made sure Pocono got his medication, and spent time giving them plenty of attention and playing with them. It was clear they were comfortable and well cared for. We came home to happy cats! We would absolutely recommend her and will definitely use her again. ❤️🐾

Lauren was great in taking care of my pet guinea pig Coco. She was very caring and did an amazing job to make sure she had enough food and water every visit. Also, went the extra mile in cleaning her area. Very much appreciated and highly recommend her. Thank you Lauren :)

I would give Angel 10 stars if possible! She was absolutely amazing. She was on time, she played with my Kitty. I got daily pictures and reports. I just cannot say enough about her. I was a day late getting home and she had no problem coming that extra time to take care of my sweet Peanut. I will definitely be using her again. And again and again and again.

Tara has been helping me the last week take care of my puppy while I’m at work. Helping out with a puppy during the potty training stage is a lot of work but she is always there on time to make sure she’s okay throughout the day. She always responds very quickly, has worked with me when changes come up with my work schedule, and has helped clean up when there’s accidents which I really appreciate a lot. She is great and I’m really thankful to have her help with my baby!

Lisa took great care of my fur baby Jeep on Saturday, 9/13, she was there for me on a last minute call. Lisa shared lots of photos of his day activity. I had peace of mind knowing that our Jeep was well taken care of. I would highly recommend Lisa and will book again soon.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
