I follow all instructions carefully, from feeding to medication if needed, and always double-check doors, gates, and locks. It is very important for me to know each pet’s routine, personality, energy level, and any special needs ahead of time. This includes feeding instructions, walk schedule, medical needs or medications, allergies, triggers, and how they interact with other dogs or people. I also like to know if there are any behavioral quirks such as anxiety, leash pulling, or reactivity so I can handle them appropriately. Understanding what makes each pet feel comfortable helps me provide safe, consistent, and stress-free care.

A typical day with pets in my care includes making sure they are comfortable, safe, and following their normal routine. I provide walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I enjoy engaging with dogs through fetch, light training reinforcement, and calm bonding time so they feel relaxed and happy. I also make sure they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation based on their energy level and personality.

Lee and I volunteer at a local animal rescue together. Since I met Lee, I noticed how kind, patient and loving she was with the animals. We have walked many dogs together, taken them on outings, and played/cared for them at the shelter. Lee was amazing with Mela! We felt so comfortable and knew that she was in good hands! Lee was very understanding and kind with Mela. Mela can pull, be reactive towards other dogs and be energetic and Lee was able to love our wild girl as if she was her own
