I make sure leashes and harnesses are secure, stay aware of surroundings, and avoid unsafe situations with other animals or traffic. I follow all instructions carefully, from feeding to medication if needed, and always double-check doors, gates, and locks. I also provide updates and photos so owners feel confident and connected while they’re away.

I also like to know if there are any behavioral quirks such as anxiety, leash pulling, or reactivity so I can handle them appropriately. Understanding what makes each pet feel comfortable helps me provide safe, consistent, and stress-free care.

A typical day with pets in my care includes making sure they are comfortable, safe, and following their normal routine. I provide walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I enjoy engaging with dogs through fetch, light training reinforcement, and calm bonding time so they feel relaxed and happy. I also make sure they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation based on their energy level and personality.

I currently volunteer at the shelter three times a week, which has given me experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m patient, reliable, and focused on making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care.

This is our second week having Lee drop-in on our girls. She’s always great with them and they love her visits. Will continue to use Lee anytime we can.
Lee was great with all three of my Frenchies Very attentive to them and communicative with me throughout the visits. I could see on my cameras how excited they were to see her each day.
Lee was so sweet, attentive, and wonderful to my dog while she was caring for him. I couldn’t recommend her enough, and look forward to booking her again to take care of my pooch.
