“Joana and her family are amazing with the dogs. We have two boxers who have a lot of energy and the backyard is very large with lots of room to run and play . Her dogs are friendly and playful and our dogs love going there .”

“Our first boarding experience. The first thing I noticed when arriving was Cheryl's lovely accent. :) We brought our 10 month old golden inside. The house was clean and appropriate. She led us to the area for the dogs. It's a huge area with a couch and full access to the backyard. She makes sure all the other dogs are put away so it doesn't overwhelm the new dog. Cheryl always has dogs that she is watching which makes it a better experience for our pet because there isn't many dogs that live there who claim the place as their property. What made me feel comfortable was that Cheryl stays with the dogs 24/7. This is her job so she is always watching the dogs. She knows how to care for them, make sure they have the appropriate behavior, and are well take care of. Simba was with her for 10 days and honestly, he seems like a better dog. I think it has to do with being with a pack and understanding his role. As this was the first time he stayed with other dogs and walked with them, I believe Simba has learned a great deal. I was afraid that he would learn about food guarding because there are other dogs with him. However, he never had any issues because the whole family watches the dogs eat to make sure no one eats other's food. I was also afraid he would be more aggressive and use more of this teeth because he was with other dogs for so long. However, he behaved even better than before I brought him to Cheryl. I was also concerned he would be filthy, but when we got him, although he was a little grimy from being a dog, he was clean. A few days before, Simba had some sort of ear infection. I was afraid that it would be too much work for Cheryl to put the ear drops in each ear but she had no problems and there was actually another dog with a similar condition. Simba's ear problem was 100% healed by the time we picked him up. Simba even lost weight! He looks more slim and healthier. From the walks to the non stop playing with other dogs, he must have burned some serious k9 calories. When we got him back, he napped all day! It was awesome. Honestly, I can't wait to bring him back to Cheryl again. The experience was great and I really believe Simba misses all the dogs to play with.”

“Robin is very pattentive and loving with my spoiled Cocker Spaniel. I’m extremely particular who cares for my fur baby, other than my sister Robin is the only other person I trust caring for my pet.”

“Kristen is absolutely the best sitter for my chihuahua. She took photos and texted me every day while I was away. My dog Rosa loved staying with her and was a little disappointed when I returned from my trip to pick her up from Kristen's house. I am so happy to have found Kristen and will definitely have her again to care for my dog. Rosa will be extremely happy, also! :)”

“Olivia was absolutely wonderful with my Teddy. She was incredibly loving, attentive, and flexible throughout the entire experience, which made everything so much easier and stress-free for me. You can truly tell she and her family genuinely care about the pets they watch and treat them like their own. One thing I especially appreciated was how consistently she kept me updated with pictures and videos of Teddy, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Seeing how happy and comfortable he was meant everything to me. Olivia was also extremely accommodating, as I needed to extend my booking an extra day because I was out of town and could not make it back at the originally scheduled pick up time: this was a lifesaver for me. I highly recommend Olivia to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable pet sitter. Teddy was clearly loved and well cared for the entire time.”

“My dog has diabetes and a hard time seeing due to cataracts. Kristy has no problem giving her the insulin injections and caring for her. She also would send me photos throughout the day. Highly recommend her”

“She made it so easy! My dogs stayed with her and had a great time, everyone was happy and healthy. She sent photos and updates which was great. I also really appreciate that she didn’t over feed my dogs. I trust her with my dogs 100%.”

“Kataryna was amazing! This was the first time leaving our Kobe Bean with someone he didn’t know and she made us feel comfortable the entire time. Her experience with animals was evident from the start. She kept us informed and updated with photos and messages during his stay. We would highly recommend!”

“Nycole takes care of our puppy like her own. Nycole sends great pictures every day and keeps us informed on how he is doing. It is always a pleasure having Nycole watch our baby.”

“Babe enjoyed her stay with Ryan and her family-I'm sure she had a great time in the fenced back yard with Ryan's two pups-we enjoyed getting photos of her playing outside-will definitely use Ryan next time we have to leave our spoiled little girl”

“Linda took care of Charlie and Gus for 12 days. When we picked them up they were healthy and happy! She kept us informed and sent pictures and we will definitely book again. Thanks Linda! Great job!”

“Thank you for caring for our pups last minute .I appreciate the videos and the updates. We will see you again in July and through the year. Our favorite dog sitter.💙💛🩵”

I was a bit nervous leaving Missy for the furst time however, I received updates and photos! Helping to alleviate my anxiety of leaving her. Thank you Megan, this has been fabulous!!”

“Robin was so loving caring and protective of my blind and deaf 16 yr old mini poodle, Weezie. I highly recommend her for any of ur doggie stays. I could enjoy my vaca without constantly worrying was my beloved pup ok. Robin sent several photos almost everyday She is a gem.”

“Mary is a sweetheart! I had a death in the family and she took care for my little one for a few days. I got daily updates on how he was doing. He was well taken care of with lots of play time and snuggles. I will be using her services in the future and I highly recommend her as a dog sitter 🙂”

“Andrea was very accommodating and responded quickly with my last minute same day booking. She welcomed my fur baby to her home like he was already part of her family. It was my first time booking on Rover and with Andrea, and I am pleasantly happy about her taking great care of my dog. My dog even became buddies with her dogs and that was nice. I found her to be a nice person when I met her and I am happy that I found her on Rover. I look forward to booking with Andrea again in the future and I would 100% recommend her. She is great to work with especially on last minute notice.”

“Cheryl is the absolute best! She is our go to when we need someone to watch our babies. I know shes the best because our shy boy is best friends with her now! That is a big compliment!”

“Laura is amazing. Very easy communication. Came over to meet my pets prior to drop in visits. I was able to book on short notice. She is very easy going and great with animals. Very friendly. I will use her again. Highly recommended!”

“This is the second visit Monica has taken on with my energetic pups. She is a great communicator and sends lots of pics. Chewy arrived while she was there and she provided treats all around :) the pups love her and I can’t say enough about how appreciative I am to have a reliable person to take care of the pups while I’m out!”

“We were very pleased with Stacey’s care of Emma for the long weekend. She had a good understanding of cat needs, and gave us twice daily photos and updates on the time of her visits. We feel confident in her ability as a good cat sitter and hope to book her again when needed.”

“Jessica was amazing 🤩!! She took care of my boys like they were her own. My vacation was much more enjoyable knowing my furry kids were in such loving and capable hands (even with hurricane Helene rolling thru!)😊. I can’t say enough good things-except she is the one I am booking! Thank you Jessica!!!”

“Very unexpectedly my husband and I had to travel out of state for a very sad and stressful visit. We rushed around to contact a few local family members to get daily care for our three cats. No one could help us. I’ve never used Rover before, and was actually quite nervous, knowing that my cats are older, and typically don’t do well with strangers. I chose Torii based on the reviews she had been given by others. Torii responded back to me right away, and our visits were booked. Torii visited my cats once a day for three days. She was easy to communicate with, very punctual, followed the care instructions that I left for her, and it seems she made friends with a couple of my cats. ? Booking through Rover was very easy and efficient. We are very pleased with the professionalism given by Rover and Torii. My husband and I are beyond grateful to have a service such as Rover and exceptional caregivers, such as Torii. We will definitely use Rover and Torii on any future pet sitting needs! Thank you.”

“Briana was WONDERFUL!! Even my most bashful kitties LOVED her! I'm so very lucky to have met her!! i highly recommend her to everyone!! She kept the boxes clean, kitties well fed and sent some adorable pictures of the kitties each day!! She spoiled them with love just like they were her very own!”

“Damian is fantastic ! He has come to our house since our Golden Retriever, Willow, was a tiny puppy. He is responsible (always prompt), caring (he plays with her & thinks of ways to entertain and socialize her ),, and Willow just loves him. I would highly recommend Damian to anyone in the Port Orange area. We will DEFINITELY be using Damian’s service next time we need a sitter. He’s a Keeper.”

About: Hi, my name is Joanna. I was a vet tech in South Carolina for two years before moving back to Florida. I love dogs and have always had one. My family and I have two labs. I would love the opportunity to be able to take care of your loved one while you are away. I am home full time. I will do my best to make sure your dog feels like they are at home. I understand how nerve-racking leaving your pet with someone else can be. I will do everything possible to help ease your mind while they stay with me. We have a fenced-in backyard and two labs that love to play. The dogs are never left outside unattended. We have crates available if needed for when someone is not home.
“Sophie's first visit with Kat - she returned to us relaxed and happy. Kat took her for 3 walks during the day and Sophie behaved better with her than she does with us on the leash. Kat helped Sophie through a little anxiety when an unexpected thunderstorm passed through. We hadn't told her about Sophie's fear of loud noises like gunshots, fireworks, and thunder - but she knew just what to do to help calm her. We're looking forward to another visit next week and more to come. Highly recommend (and the only reason we hesitate to give a glowing recommendations is purely selfish - we don't want y'all to grab all her availability!)”

“Cheryl has a warm and beautiful personality and you know right away that your furkid will be in good hands. Our boy enjoyed his stay very much and is eager to go back. Thank you so much for taking care of our furkid!”

“Steve is so sweet! He responded to my message immediately, was more than willing to take my pup in on such short notice. The drop off and pick up was so easy and quick and he sent photo updates throughout the day. I will forever be using Mr. Steve for my pup-sitting!”

“Tamara was very welcoming to Nila and myself! I’m never away from Nila, but Tamara understood and sent me pictures and I definitely knew she was in great hands! Friendly and clean environment”

“Linda was wonderful! We so appreciate her calm and gentle way with pups! Winnie can be a little nervous with new people but Linda was a pro. We will definitely return to Linda and Dickens!”

“Nycole was an excellent communicator and is very dog savvy. She was particularly patient with our shy boy Waldo and did not push any boundaries. Her two business partners (dogs) were gracious host and would get along with any dog. We will be using her again for an overnight boarding in the next few weeks.”

“Victoria is wonderful. I have a very high anxiety dog that isn’t good in new situations and Victoria was so patient and understanding. She spend time trying to settle her in and gave her lots of attention ..and was so responsive to text messages. I am very happy I found her and plan to Victoria when I am down here.”

“Mary did a wonderful job hosting Pepper for the day! He was very nervous after not being boarded for quite a while, but she calmed him down and sent pictures throughout the day, which was very reassuring!”

“I was in Palm Coast for a family reunion and booked Maisie's daycare services for the days I couldn't bring my dog with me. From the very beginning, Maisie was prompt, professional, and kind in all of her communication. She took the time to share her and her husband's extensive professional experience, which immediately put me at ease about leaving my dog with someone else for the first time. Knowing my dog was in such capable and caring hands made all the difference. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Maisie again and highly recommend her services to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate pet care. Thank you, Maisie!”

About: Excited to be on Rover, brand new to this app, although my family has been pet sitting for years. We moved to this area a year ago. I grew up on a farm in Western Massachusetts and my dad was a vet, so we had plenty of animals around! It was a blast and gave me a strong passion of caring for animals at a young age. I helped my dad out with his veterinary office in high school, until moving to Florida. I’ve also been a shelter worker and veterinary technician and my family and I have fostered and rescued countless dogs and cats! I am kind of crazy animal dude. My teenage daughter shares my love for animals as well and loves helping out. I don’t board more than two dogs a night because I have my own, unless they are from the same family. Then we will board up to four. Please only dog friendly dogs. Because my home has a dog door, I ask for no escape artists and/or dogs with severe separation anxiety. The privacy fence is 8”, but dogs will have access to both indoors and outdoors having the doggy door, as long as they aren’t too chubby to fit, which sometimes happens! I used to be a tree climber. Unfortunately, I fell off a roof a few years ago and broke both of my feet. Thankfully I’m able to walk and be active again so I still do tree jobs part time, but I’m home more often than not, so decided to turn my love for animals into something. My daughter turns 15 next month and shares our passion for animals. Between myself, my wife, and our daughter, someone is almost always home. We are total animal people and all educated in animal behavior. I have a fully fenced yard and a playful pup who is still respectful to lower energy/smaller/senior dogs. I have a dog door, dogs are allowed on the furniture. They are very spoiled here!
About: I love pets! I treat pets like fur babies and like a member of the family! I like to go to the beach, the dog park, and take rides in the car. I am more than willing to send pics and videos of your baby so you can feel comfortable they are being well taken care of:) I am home all day and am looking forward to spending time with your fur baby! I can do regular walks and potty breaks and I have a fully fenced back yard. I have a camera in the home that lets me check in when I am not at home. I have a house alarm and take special care to keep your fur babies safe:)
About: I've grown up caring for family pets like dogs, fish, turtles, hamsters, and frogs. I've always enjoyed taking care of family and friends pet's while their away, including: cats, geckos, and horses. There's never been a time in my life where I didn't have at least two pets. I have four years experience working in the pet care industry. I started at a general practice veterinary clinic assisting with general veterinary procedures as well as caring for pets who were boarding at the facility. I also worked temporarily at an emergency veterinary clinic, monitoring patients and assisting with major procedures. I also worked at a boarding facility for cats and dogs for two years, caring for overnight guests and facilitating playtimes with different groups of dogs, including being a lifeguard to dogs in the doggy pool. I have a very attentive eye for any physical or emotional stressors that your pet may be going through from all this experience with pet care. Please contact me with any questions you may have, I'd be pleased to work with you! I work from home part time, so I have lots of time to spoil your babies! I am very flexible with location, pick up and drop off, and extra dog adventures including sniffspots, dog beach, pet friendly stores and restaurants, and other adventures tailored to you and your dog. I'm a huge believer of giving pets the physical and emotional enrichment they need. Every pet needs the quality attention and physical exercise they need everyday! I would love to be that person for you. DOGS: I enjoy exploring outdoors and would be thrilled to take your pet on an exploratory stroll around the neighborhood or in a local park! I grew up with beagles, so I understand the importance of just letting the pup sniff, it's good for their brain! I'm also thrilled to give your baby a fast-paced walk or long-distance walk if they have that extra energy! I'm pleased to cater to any of your dog's specific dietary, exercise, training, or play routines. I will always keep you updated as you please! CATS: No matter how your baby feels about a stranger in their home, I'm determined to make them as comfortable as possible while I'm there! I love giving kitties the extra TLC they deserve, weather that's engaging in their favorite toys, or giving them as many of their favorite treats that I'm allowed! I'm always happy to administer any medications and adhere to feeding, grooming, cleaning, etc. schedules.
“This was our first time leaving Wally in daycare, and we had a wonderful experience. Tracy welcomed him into her home and made us feel completely at ease. We really appreciated the frequent photos and videos throughout the day, which gave us great peace of mind. There were other dogs in the home, and it was clear that care was taken to thoughtfully separate dogs when needed. Wally had a great time and came home happy and completely exhausted — he’s been sound asleep ever since. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend.”

“Bonnie and her family was great with our four legged member of the family. She was very accommodating and Gaucho was happy during his stay at Bonnie’s home. He made new friends and was well taken care of while we were out and not been able to be with our dog. Bonnie and family are really awesome!”

“This was my first time leaving my boy Nikko with Deborah and I am so happy to have found a new sitter here in Palm coast! Top knotch and they adore my little man!! I am so happy. Thank you Deborah!!!!!”

“So glad that we found Leon! This was a last minute booking and he was able to accommodate us. We ran through a meet and greet and I was very comfortable leaving our two pups there. Both Harvey and Tina seemed happy (and tired!!) after a fun day at Leon's. We booked twice for doggie daycare and would definitely choose him again.”

“This was my first time using Rover, but I was going to some theme parks for 2 days and brought my dogs with me from out of town. I knew I couldn't leave them for hours without a potty break, and I have to admit I was anxious since this is the first time using a service like this, but Carli was awesome the entire way through! I'm super grateful to have the option for someone to come walk my dogs and I'm super grateful Carli was so communicative and my dogs were taken care of! I'm coming back to use the rest of my park tickets, and I will definitely book her again. Thank you Carli!!”
