“Jennifer was fantastic and personable. She responded immediately to help get on the same page. I feel like checking in on our cats and making sure they had food and water probably isn’t the most intensive gig, but it required more back and forth than I would have guessed. She easily adapted to what we wanted and our texts back and forth were easy and humorous like we’d known each other already. She went above our admittedly pretty simple requests best of all, our sometimes standoffish cats seemed to be at ease with her from the photos she sent daily. Would absolutely book her again.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up on my grandparents' farm, I developed a deep love and understanding for animals of all kinds. Over the years, I've also cared for two of the most unique dog breeds— a Chihuahua named AJ and a Chinese Shar-Pei named Roxie—both known for their distinct personalities. Additionally, I’ve had the pleasure of dog-sitting for two friends here in the Bay Area: a Golden Doodle named Riley and a Lab-Boxer mix named Uno. She set up a meet and greet to get to know us and our cat, she was so sweet and asked us everything she needed to know and she took notes on things we considered important. She made sure to keep us updated on behavior and sent us pictures and a detailed report after each visit. We felt so comfortable knowing that our fur baby was happy while we were away in another country. She went above and beyond and all the little extra attention to detail and going the extra mile was the cherry on top of her amazing service. About: Dog has always been a big part of my life. I have experiences in potty training, dog walking (small and big), and I love teaching them to do tricks! I'm currently free most of my weekdays as I'm still looking for full-time job. I would like to spend time with some furry friends in between my job search schedule. About: I've grown up with pets (i.e. dog, cat, hamster, bird) for most of my life. I had a rescue family dog for over 10 years and my own pet cat for 3 years yrs before moving to CA. I've pet say for over 30 dogs and over 10 cats, along with occasional reptiles, rodents and even chickens. I know how to read animals and build their trust so that they feel safe and loved. I'm a social worker for my day job and I enjoy being able to care for pets part-time as well. I live walking distance from Lake Merritt, which is perfect for walks.
