About: I've been taking care of my personal pets for 20 years. Also, spent time volunteering at vet clinics and adoption centers. I can definitely cover the basics and more! My days are fairly flexible, so I am able to accommodate most busy schedules! The more notice I am provided on a request, the better. Communication with the owner is a major first step in creating trust in this dynamic. You can expect genuine and detailed questions about the pet's routine, likes/dislikes, emergency contacts, etc. You can also expect updates during the pet's stay, which is an easy way to ease your mind as the pet parent. I am informed on basic pet first aid and CPR, and am confident in my abilities to act quickly, if needed.

About: I don't currently have any pets but I have been looking after friends and family dogs for a few years now and specialize in providing the care and attention your fur baby needs. I work from home so I'm flexible and available most days for dog sitting and drop-ins. I look forward to caring for your fur baby. I appreciate all notes and strictly follow your fur baby's schedule such as feeding time, administering medicine, bed time, etc. I also aim for two walks minimum (morning and afternoon), and enjoy trips to the park if time allows.

“Krista is very reliable and does a great job taking care of my dog Max. She is on time and makes sure Max gets his food, some cuddle time and a walk. She communicates well and replies fast. Thank you!”

About: I have always grown up with dogs and cats. Animal fur was always a “fashion choice” of mine. Right now, I have a 125 lbs pitbull mix named charlie, he has big paws and an even bigger heart. I also have a stubby, long nosed coonhound named Billie, she is jumpy, rowdy, and loves to cuddle. I have lots of experience with big dogs, I grew up with a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd mix. I love my animals so much, and I know firsthand how having a pet sitter/walker can be nerve-racking. I want to provide you with that trust and much needed knowledge that your dogs are being taken care of. Although I do not have as much professional experience as I would want to, I can provide that same love and care and personal experience that you may not be able to get from someone who doesn’t have big dogs like I do. I am young, strong, and able to respond to any messages sent my way. I’m also always taking pictures to send to any of my clients. Keeping you up-to-date is so important as it assures you that things are going smoothly and that your pet is having a fun, restful, relaxing time. Because your pet deserves a vacation too, of course. Hello! My name is Madeline (pronounced like caroline) I am currently a high school senior, who is going to my freshman year at college in late August. I am looking forward to going to college for acting and getting my bachelors of fine arts in the drama department at Carnegie Mellon University. My weekends are pretty open. Besides the small vacations throughout the summer. I am pretty available most weeks. I am in front of house manager at the Olney theater center. I am usually working nighttime (5-11) shows, so I am available during the day. I have had the amazing opportunity of working with dogs in the last show I was in. I did “legally blonde the musical”. We had two amazing actor pups in the show and that was such a great experience for me. I have grown up with animals my entire life. I have two dogs right now and in previous years I had up to four cats all at once. I have such a huge passion for taking care of animals and being around them. I am very interested in volunteering at animal shelters and will continue to in the future. My favorite type of exercise is to just walk outside. If you have a pup who needs frequent walks I am your person! Walking is my favorite. I have so many favorite places to go on walks. I will usually listen to podcasts, music, or study any of my lines for a show that I’m in. I am incredibly tech savvy and will respond to any message or call within a minute or two. I think it’s incredibly important to keep you updated and “in the know” with what is going on while I’m taking care of your beloved pets. At my home I love to take long walks with my two dogs. I am fairly comfortable walking larger dogs, or dogs who like to be on the move. Based off of what you would like me to do, I will follow your instructions to the T.

“Jess is a very conscientious, attentive and loving dog walker! Jess fed and walked my Cavachon and Cocker Spaniel twice a day for the past week and did an outstanding job. She texted me with pictures of my dogs and gave me updates daily! She goes above and beyond! I cannot rave enough about her! My dogs adore her!”

“Michelle was great! My dog is older & has some health issues. Michelle scheduled a meet & greet with us which boosted my comfort-level knowing my dog was relaxed & comfortable with her. Michelle is very kind & professional. She had a great interaction with my dog, took plenty of pics during the walk (let's face it, we love pics when we can't be with our pups), and she provided a detailed summary of how my dog was on the walk. We were definitely lucky to find Michelle on Rover & hope to schedule more pup-walks in the future! Thanks Michelle.”

About: I’ve been house and pet sitting since 2018, working with a wide range of dog and cat breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. What sets me apart is my experience providing attentive, compassionate care to pets with special needs—including those requiring timely medications or living with seizure disorders. I understand how important routine, trust, and patience are when it comes to your pet’s comfort and well-being. Whether I'm caring for a playful puppy, a senior pet, or an animal with specific medical needs, I tailor my care to ensure they feel safe, loved, and cared for in your absence. I work 8 hours shifts from 7:30-3:30 M-F. Most Mondays and Fridays I am scheduled to work remote, however, I have flexibility to move those remote days as needed with my job- except Tuesdays I can not do. Therefore, I can maximize my time being home all day with your loved ones. Also, I can do drop-ins and dog walks anytime after 4:30pm on Tuesday- Thursdays! Open schedule on weekends. I make sure doors and gates are secure, monitor food and water levels, and stay alert to any changes in behavior or health. I have experience working with clients whose pets have complex medication needs such as seizure, anxiety, frequent urinary blockages in male cats and diabetes so I have awareness to common signs and symptoms if they are in distress. I will also follow up with the owner to see if there is any unique patterns or signs their particular pet may express as not every pet is the same as the next. I also provide regular updates—including photos and messages—so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and in loving hands while you’re away
