“She was great with my 2 dogs and went above and beyond for me. I did have to modify my days on her due to event being so close to home I could do drop in myself. Great to work with and so glad I picked her by the end of the week.”

“Sam is the BEST. We really appreciate the love and care for Eva while we are away, and especially her correspondence during the check in. We always book last minute, so we appreciate Sam being so available and flexible to help our girl!”

“Rachael was available for us on short notice, and she was great to meet us before our trip. Her drop-in care for Mama, our cat, was great. The pics of Mama Rachael sent to us during our trip were appreciated.”

About: I've always had a pet in my home since I was a kid, animals have always been a part of my life and I'm for sure keeping it that way. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to take care of their furry friends while they're away. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play and check in on your pets! Being out of school has allowed me a lot of extra time and I'll gladly fill it taking care of your pups and kitties too! I am unable to offer care at my home but am more than able to come to yours! I am a huge animal lover and am always offering care for my family and friends' pets.
“Josephine made our first boarding experience with rover an absolute dream! I booked her for two services, boarding for our two golden retrievers and a daily check in for our cats, one of which needed medication. She was on time every day, sent pictures, and I could tell our girls were relaxed and happy there! Would 100% rebook again without hesitation.”

“Angel was amazing performing the drop in service for us. Angel was very communicative, reliable, and came through for us in a pinch. We felt comfortable knowing our dogs were being cared for and appreciated the updates throughout the stay. Would absolutely use again and recommend to others!”

“Jessica is amazing as always! Our kitty loves her and it's nice to know he's in good hands while we're away. I get lots of updates and pictures which is fun to check every day. Thanks for always being so helpful, Jessica!”

About: I grew up taking care of my family dogs and have since had two dogs and a cat of my own! I love taking care of my friends and families pets when they are out of town. Being a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to have your babies be cared for properly. Im happy to provide that comfort and care. I work part tome as an actor and a barista with a very flexible schedule. What that means is that I have a lot of free time and free days and can always fit in multiple visits to ensure your pet is checked on! I am happy to provide the care you need for your pets. Whether thats just food and a potty break or maybe its spending some time with a chew toy or laser or a snuggle.
“They treated my two kitties with great care and love. They saw that the windstorm had blown stuff in the pool and endeavored to clean that out as well! I will always check with them and even adjust my schedule if necessary to care for my cats!”

“CiCi did a wonderful job checking on our fur babies. The kitties never came out of their hiding spots, but she took pics of them and sent the pics to us. Thank you for everything!!”

“Julie went above and beyond to take care of our 2 cats, fish, plants, and home. I'd recommend Julie to anyone and will definitely pick her again next time we go on vacation. Everything was great when we got back.”

“Teresa is FANTASTIC! My three dogs are a handful but they love her and she did so well with them. She sent me pictures during every visit and made sure they were all secured when she left. She gave me such peace of mind while I was at work, she's just wonderful!”

“AMAZING!! would allow her to watch any fur babies you have and wouldn’t stress at all. Very communicative and will do anything you ask as well. also seems very comfortable around bigger dogs and knows how to handle high energy dogs. GREAT!!”

About: Grew-up around dogs and looking after neighbors/friends’ pets! Have had experience taking care of both puppies and senior dogs; small and larger breeds. I am comfortable and familiar with a wide range of dog behaviors (e.g. energetic, skittish, chill, anxious, etc.) And I absolutely love to be outside walking and/or running with them, so I can exercise your energetic pup in addition to sitting. Can do some easy, unofficial training if desired - sit, stay, lay down, leash-walking, etc. Can administer oral or topical medication. Additionally, I am a college student so my hours are a bit more flexible! Especially during the summertime. Currently working only part-time (Tues/Thurs), so my hours are pretty flexible and open. I cannot currently board pets in my own home but am more than happy to do multiple check-ins, walks, play dates, etc. a day for however long your pup needs to thrive and feel happy, healthy, and safe. I am extremely clean, dependable, and understand that the rules and expectations you have of me for your precious pet always come first! All pets, homes, and clients are treated with the utmost kindness and respect. Again, your rules/expectations are of utmost importance to me when checking-in on, playing with, and walking your dog. I am diligent in their specific feeding, potty, and exercise routines, as well as to their safety (taking caution that all gates/doors are shut or when walking in new areas, etc.).

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Norman
Josephine was excellent. One of our dogs isn't very good with new people, yet she handled him like a champ! She treated our home like her own and pampered our pets. There was even thunder and rain during her visits and she was patient and kind. We will definitely be reaching out again.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Norman. On Rover:

- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
