“Marsha was a lifesaver! We booked her just hours before we needed her. She was available both times for two days. Our girls really loved the attention, play time and loves she gave. We felt like she treated our 2 girl pups like they were her own. We will definitely be using Marsha again.”

About: I am good with any type of animal. I love both cats and dogs. I have experience with big and little dogs, senior dogs and even anxious cats! I am currently working a part-time flexible schedule where I can arrange my day around your pet's needs. I am able to take your animal outside every 3 hours at least. I have a fenced yard and one small dog in the home. I have room for a large crate in the house. I can take them for daily walks.

About: I have lots of experience around all kinds and sizes of pets! I grew up with cats, dogs, and horses and have pet sit for families with multiple pets in the home. I worked at a wildlife rehabilitation center for multiple years so I have experience giving meds and caring for animals with special needs or health problems. I’d love the opportunity to set up a time to chat and see if I’d be a good fit for you and your pet(s)! I’m finishing up my last class at OU so I have a very flexible schedule and could be present for most of the day. I’m comfortable doing whatever is needed to keep your fur baby happy and healthy. I have experience taking multiple dogs on a walk, feeding on a schedule, letting them out, I can do it all!
About: Hi!! I’ve had experience watching my friends and family’s pets (both cats and dogs). I also have a dog of my own, which I love caring for, and I can’t wait to care for your pets! I’m home for the summer and I am free all the time! I can do all of my selected services any day of the week! I know how important peace of mind is when trusting someone with your animals, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout my time with your pet!
About: I have lived with and taken care of all kinds of pets for 24 years. While I don’t currently train dogs, I would be more than happy to keep your pet’s routine while you’re away! I am currently a grad student working part time. I am available to stop by after 3 PM on weekdays, and any time on weekends! My care varies based on your pet’s specific needs. With cats, I typically come over for an hour or so to check their food, water, litter, and to play with them and keep them company. If your cat is harness trained, I would also be happy to take them outside/on walks as well! With dogs, I can come over for feeding, watering, walks, bathroom breaks, and some play time! I would be happy to do a meet and greet beforehand to ensure trust and safety on both sides.
“She did such a great job checking in on my cats! I could tell they were well cared for and comfortable while I was away, which gave me so much peace of mind. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly loves animals. I would definitely book with her again!”

About: Ever since I was little I have had a passion for caring and loving animals! When I was just 13 years old, I started my own pet sitting company and I’ve been doing it ever since. I have taken care of very old and injured dogs as well as newborn puppies. I love them all:) I am currently in college and have a very flexible schedule. The only time I have class is MWF from 10am-3pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays no class! I like for the animals to be inside with me, when I am out or inside the house. If I let them out, I like to be outside watching them most of the times. They are always welcome to be inside with me whenever they want.

About: Grew-up around dogs and looking after neighbors/friends’ pets! Have had experience taking care of both puppies and senior dogs; small and larger breeds. I am comfortable and familiar with a wide range of dog behaviors (e.g. energetic, skittish, chill, anxious, etc.) And I absolutely love to be outside walking and/or running with them, so I can exercise your energetic pup in addition to sitting. Can do some easy, unofficial training if desired - sit, stay, lay down, leash-walking, etc. Can administer oral or topical medication. Additionally, I am a college student so my hours are a bit more flexible! Especially during the summertime. Currently working only part-time (Tues/Thurs), so my hours are pretty flexible and open. I cannot currently board pets in my own home but am more than happy to do multiple check-ins, walks, play dates, etc. a day for however long your pup needs to thrive and feel happy, healthy, and safe. I am extremely clean, dependable, and understand that the rules and expectations you have of me for your precious pet always come first! All pets, homes, and clients are treated with the utmost kindness and respect. Again, your rules/expectations are of utmost importance to me when checking-in on, playing with, and walking your dog. I am diligent in their specific feeding, potty, and exercise routines, as well as to their safety (taking caution that all gates/doors are shut or when walking in new areas, etc.).
About: I love animals and want what’s best for every animal. I’ve cared for animals since I was a kid and family and friends rely on me to watch there dogs/ cats frequently. I am available everyday except Sunday and Wednesday. If I do long days or overnights I would have to leave to check on my own cat but it would be for a short amount of time I will always put the animals needs first before my own. I want them to feel safe and comfortable. I will also make sure they have everything they need including lots of attention

I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. “Really good with my elderly cat who’s afraid of the whole world. Took the time to come and meet her before we left for a week, and took the time to find her every day to send a picture. Even when I asked if she could water my flowers she did! Totally recommend”

“Vivian was a last minute hero! I was having issues with my account and when everything got squared away I didn’t think I would be able to get someone to let my babies out at the last minute. Communication with Vivian was outstanding. I am grateful to have linked up with someone local to assist with my fur babies while I am at work. Thank you Vivian!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was six years old when I fell in love with animals, since then I have taken care of neighbors and friends pets when they have been unable to. Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
