We did a meet and greet ahead of the stay, and our boys explored and got to meet everyone. April provided a wonderful, welcoming environment. April noted she paid special attention when the weather was warmer outside not to let our frenchie play outside too long. About: My motto is that it's my responsibility to make sure that each dog feels the most comfortable, loved, and most importantly safe in the short time I have them. Every day that I'm with your pup, I keep that motto at the forefront of my mind. I'm an out of state college student who has three larger dog breeds at home that I miss so much. And I’ve grown up around dogs all my life so making pups as happy as I can and taking care of them just come second nature for me! I recently have over 2 years of volunteering experience at a no-kill animal shelter called “City of Norman Animal Welfare” and I’m hoping to take my lived experience and activism with animals into a summer job. I've worked with dogs big and small and loved taken care of all of them equally. I've also been trained in Pet First Aid and am experienced administering medication. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It's a great way to make sure that we're all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup, their needs, and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it's always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! I know how difficult it is to be away from your best friend, so communication is the name of my game. With the internship I just need to work 12 hours a week but can come and go from the museum as I like and can take an hour off for lunch, work only 2 days a week, only work early mornings, it is truely amazing having such an independent schedule, which is why I thought dog sitting & walking would be a great idea. Would love to do boarding/doggy daycare, like I said in my bio, I miss my dogs at home so much so giving some weekend love to yours won’t be a problem. But I do live in an apartment and having any animal for longer than a week without having them registered with the building would be against my lease, so I cannot do super long sleepovers :( My entire apartment complex is fenced in but because theres other people they would be on a leash, but theres PLENTY of grass to go potty and frolic. We also have a large yard in the center of the apartment complex where they can run and stretch their legs off leash. While all dogs are outside on or off leash they will NEVER leave my sight regardless of have a history of running away or not. Love playing fetch with dogs and rewarding good behavoir with lots of treats. (Dietary concerns considered) I drive a toyota highlander SUV with plenty of space for transporting your pups and making sure they’re secure and totally safe. Just like watching your dogs transporting them should be done with the utmost care and I have a squeaky clean drivng record. I currently do not have a crate at my apartment, but dogs generally feel most comfortable in their own bedding especially in a new unfamilar environment, if you’d allow me to bring it from your home and return it with your pet. There’s plenty of space in the apartment, but I’d only sit about three large dogs at a time to allow plenty of playtime space or incase they get the zoomies. Dog beds or crates can be in the livingroom or my bedroom wherever your pet is most comfortable sleeping. I am also comfortable washing dogs after having multiple sessions with them to gauge temperment. A lot of dogs get anxious with baths and I am more then comfortable handling that and have multiple times in the past, but I do not need to put myself in harms way dealing with aggressive untrained dogs. Nonetheless I understand that for a lot of middle aged dog parents bathing dogs is tedious and can hurt your back, so I am happy to provide a clean pup for an additional tip! (Skin concerns considered with products used)

I work part tome as an actor and a barista with a very flexible schedule. What that means is that I have a lot of free time and free days and can always fit in multiple visits to ensure your pet is checked on! I am happy to provide the care you need for your pets. Whether thats just food and a potty break or maybe its spending some time with a chew toy or laser or a snuggle.
About: Grew-up around dogs and looking after neighbors/friends’ pets! Have had experience taking care of both puppies and senior dogs; small and larger breeds. I am comfortable and familiar with a wide range of dog behaviors (e.g. energetic, skittish, chill, anxious, etc.) And I absolutely love to be outside walking and/or running with them, so I can exercise your energetic pup in addition to sitting. Can do some easy, unofficial training if desired - sit, stay, lay down, leash-walking, etc. Can administer oral or topical medication. Additionally, I am a college student so my hours are a bit more flexible! Especially during the summertime. Currently working only part-time (Tues/Thurs), so my hours are pretty flexible and open. I cannot currently board pets in my own home but am more than happy to do multiple check-ins, walks, play dates, etc. a day for however long your pup needs to thrive and feel happy, healthy, and safe. I am extremely clean, dependable, and understand that the rules and expectations you have of me for your precious pet always come first! All pets, homes, and clients are treated with the utmost kindness and respect. Again, your rules/expectations are of utmost importance to me when checking-in on, playing with, and walking your dog. I am diligent in their specific feeding, potty, and exercise routines, as well as to their safety (taking caution that all gates/doors are shut or when walking in new areas, etc.).
