“Fudge had an absolute blast! I would recommend Jamey to anyone, I loved getting all the updates and hearing about his day when picked up. He also was very tired when coming home which only shows just how much fun he had!”

“Josephine is GREAT! My fur baby LOVESSSSS her. He’s always so excited when we get close to her house. We just got him & she’s been so nice & helpful with advice on how to train him & get him acclimated to us.”

“My family and I were going to Universal Studios for 2 days…tickets bought, pet sitter confirmed. Then Mother Nature dropped a winter storm and our pet sitter was stuck in Texas. GABRIEL CAME THROUGH in the clutch! Not only did he agree to watch my baby, Simba, literally the next 2 days, but he was sooo accommodating! Gabriel sent pictures throughout both days…walks ✔️ naps ✔️ snuggling ✔️ Simba came home happy & tired both days! I can’t thank Gabriel enough for the last minute assist and for taking such good care of Simba! ??”

About: I specialize in accepting single boardings at my home as well as short and long stays in your home. I stay day and night thru out. I’m a full-time professional sitter, and when I commit to your pets and your home, I’m all in. I don’t just swing by to scoop food and dash — I stay overnight, follow your routines, and make sure your pets feel calm, safe, and genuinely cared for the entire time you’re away. They get love, attention, and consistency — and you get real peace of mind. This isn’t a gig to me. It’s what I do. And I do it with heart. I have plenty of experience with large breeds — the kind that some sitters might shy away from. I don’t breed discriminate, and I know that “big” doesn’t mean “bad.” In fact, some of my most loyal cuddle buddies have outweighed me! I absolutely adore the pitties, rotties, and other gentle giants — they’ve got big heads, big hearts, and a soft spot in mine. That said, I do prioritize safety — for everyone involved. I’m confident, calm, and respectful in my approach, and I appreciate open, honest communication about your pet’s temperament, routines, and needs. I know it’s a big deal to trust someone with your fur babies and your home. I take that trust seriously. I treat your space with care, keep things clean and secure, and most importantly, Your pets will feel seen, safe, and loved. Whether your dog needs someone to curl up with at night or your cat needs their routine followed to the letter, I’m here for it. I’ll meet them where they are — playful, shy, anxious, spoiled, senior, or sassy. My goal is simple: when you walk back through that door, your pets are relaxed, happy, and barely noticed you left. I dedicate my entire schedule to caring for animals, which means your pet gets my full attention, flexibility, and consistent care. Being in their familiar space dramatically reduces the stress and trauma that new surroundings can trigger. I look at it like their very own staycation! My goal is to keep your pets in their normal routine while focusing on safe, stimulating and loving care. All the while providing you with peace of mind. I take great pride in my integrity — it’s non-negotiable. Doing the right thing, even when no one’s watching, isn’t just a value; it’s how I operate every day. You, your babies, and your home deserve nothing less than my full commitment and care.
“We had another great experience with Julie! My dog, Rosie, loves her so much that she was pulling me out of the car to run inside. Julie sent photo and video updates throughout the day, and was really great at communicating. She was also super accommodating with what time I could drop off and pick up, because I didn’t know exactly what time I would be there. Will definitely book again!”

“Vivian was incredible. She was super welcoming and spoke with us before to explain she has a dog and the disposition of her dog. Sasha loved her and would highly recommend her! Best experience 100%”

“Brian was great from the jump, he was very professional, understanding and seemed to have amazing patience with our 90lb hyperactive lab Brody. He was very attentive and provided several updates through out the day with pictures. 10/10 very highly recommend, very greatful to have come across his profile and appreciate him and his wife’s services, We will definitely be booking again!”

About: My motto is that it's my responsibility to make sure that each dog feels the most comfortable, loved, and most importantly safe in the short time I have them. Every day that I'm with your pup, I keep that motto at the forefront of my mind. I know how important dogs are to our lives, so it's my duty to make sure that your pup gets to experience the same kind of love and care that they're used to at home. I'm an out of state college student who has three larger dog breeds at home that I miss so much. And I’ve grown up around dogs all my life so making pups as happy as I can and taking care of them just come second nature for me! Although I've been a lifelong dog lover, my experience with pups is much more far-reaching than that. I recently have over 2 years of volunteering experience at a no-kill animal shelter called “City of Norman Animal Welfare” and I’m hoping to take my lived experience and activism with animals into a summer job. I've worked with dogs big and small and loved taken care of all of them equally. I've also been trained in Pet First Aid and am experienced administering medication. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It's a great way to make sure that we're all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup, their needs, and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it's always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs!! like to get down on their level to show them that I'm a welcome presence here to make friends, and I'm sure we'll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it is to be away from your best friend, so communication is the name of my game. I'll make sure to send plenty of regular updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together <3 Note: Might do cats in the future, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve grown allergic so Benadryl is a must. I am currently working an internship at a museum with very flexable hours for the summer giving me lots of time to play and walk your pups! With the internship I just need to work 12 hours a week but can come and go from the museum as I like and can take an hour off for lunch, work only 2 days a week, only work early mornings, it is truely amazing having such an independent schedule, which is why I thought dog sitting & walking would be a great idea. Would love to do boarding/doggy daycare, like I said in my bio, I miss my dogs at home so much so giving some weekend love to yours won’t be a problem. But I do live in an apartment and having any animal for longer than a week without having them registered with the building would be against my lease, so I cannot do super long sleepovers :( My entire apartment complex is fenced in but because theres other people they would be on a leash, but theres PLENTY of grass to go potty and frolic. We also have a large yard in the center of the apartment complex where they can run and stretch their legs off leash. While all dogs are outside on or off leash they will NEVER leave my sight regardless of have a history of running away or not. Love playing fetch with dogs and rewarding good behavoir with lots of treats. (Dietary concerns considered) I drive a toyota highlander SUV with plenty of space for transporting your pups and making sure they’re secure and totally safe. Just like watching your dogs transporting them should be done with the utmost care and I have a squeaky clean drivng record. I currently do not have a crate at my apartment, but dogs generally feel most comfortable in their own bedding especially in a new unfamilar environment, if you’d allow me to bring it from your home and return it with your pet. There’s plenty of space in the apartment, but I’d only sit about three large dogs at a time to allow plenty of playtime space or incase they get the zoomies. Dog beds or crates can be in the livingroom or my bedroom wherever your pet is most comfortable sleeping. I am also comfortable washing dogs after having multiple sessions with them to gauge temperment. A lot of dogs get anxious with baths and I am more then comfortable handling that and have multiple times in the past, but I do not need to put myself in harms way dealing with aggressive untrained dogs. Nonetheless I understand that for a lot of middle aged dog parents bathing dogs is tedious and can hurt your back, so I am happy to provide a clean pup for an additional tip! (Skin concerns considered with products used)
“Could not have chosen a better sitter for our two little dogs. They do not adjust easily or quickly to new people or places. Yet, within half an hour we received photos of them just as happy and at home with Tiffany. We are so fortunate to have found her.”

“Kalee was great with my dog Pumpkin! She kept me updated and made him feel comfortable the whole time. Pumpkin was happy and relaxed when I picked him up. I’d definitely book with Kalee again!”

“Karmen is amazing. She does a great job with Snoop and being at her house while I am at work is amazing for him. He learns to socialize with a variety of dogs and with her kids. It’s like taking your kid to recess! I love it”

The median cost per day for doggy day care in Norman is $30

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Norman commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
