About: I have lots of experience around all kinds and sizes of pets! I grew up with cats, dogs, and horses and have pet sit for families with multiple pets in the home. I worked at a wildlife rehabilitation center for multiple years so I have experience giving meds and caring for animals with special needs or health problems. I’d love the opportunity to set up a time to chat and see if I’d be a good fit for you and your pet(s)! I’m finishing up my last class at OU so I have a very flexible schedule and could be present for most of the day. I’m comfortable doing whatever is needed to keep your fur baby happy and healthy. I have experience taking multiple dogs on a walk, feeding on a schedule, letting them out, I can do it all!

“Marinna is very thoughtful and thorough! She took the time to meet our little buddy before we left to make sure he would respond well to her. Marinna asked lots of questions to better understand exactly what our dog needed and our expectations for his care. She went above and beyond to provide our buddy with lots of love and enrichment!”

About: I worked at Dogtopia taking care of boarding dogs/daycare dogs. I love watching and working with pets! I have always owned pets as well. I am a full time college student, however I have a very flexible schedule. I usually finish classes early in the day and have both weekend days to care for pets. I have a reliable car that can take me to your home/dog parks. I make sure pets are always safe and comfortable following any routines/instructions provided.
“Josie was so great with our kitty! Our cat is very particular and she warmed right up to Josie. She took pics while we were away so we knew our girl was happy and taken care of.”

About: I am a dependable and caring person who genuinely loves spending time with all types of animals. I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality, whether they’re energetic and ready for a long walk or happiest with some extra attention and belly rubs. During walks and drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, attention, and care while keeping their normal routine in mind. I want every visit to be something your dog looks forward to and for you to feel confident knowing they’re being well cared for while you’re away! As a college student at the University of Oklahoma, my schedule is fairly flexible, more so in the afternoons. I have classes mostly in the morning during the week, but I’m available for walks and drop-in visits in the afternoons and evenings. My weekends are also pretty open, with Saturday home football games being my only commitment. I have lots of flexibility to work around your pet’s routine. Since I’ll mainly be doing walks and drop-in visits, I’ll make sure I follow the instructions you leave for your pet and keep things as close to their normal routine as possible. I’ll pay attention to their behavior and surroundings while we’re out walking, and I’ll make sure they’re settled and comfortable before I leave. I’ll also be respectful of your home and make sure I leave things the way I found them. I’m happy to send a few pictures or updates during the visit so you know how things are going.

“She was great with my 2 dogs and went above and beyond for me. I did have to modify my days on her due to event being so close to home I could do drop in myself. Great to work with and so glad I picked her by the end of the week.”

“Beth was just wonderful!!! She watched after our dog and cats (one of whom needed twice-daily injections), and she was exactly what we had hoped for when we hired a pet sitter. She was friendly and professional when we met her, and she was so great with all of our animals. Marinna is very thoughtful and thorough! She took the time to meet our little buddy before we left to make sure he would respond well to her. Words cannot express how much I appreciate the professionalism, care and commitment that Jason gave to my cats while I was away. I am a domestic abuse survivor and this is the first person, let alone a man I have allowed into my home since I have been basically in hiding from my ex husband. His height of well over 6’5 or more (you will have to ask him) could have been intimidating to someone like me but so helpful to literally “ herding cats”. He told me that he actually owns a dog which you would think that he had owned my cats all his life, because when I got home after my one week away they looked disappointed that it wasn’t Jason that walked through the door! He sent me pictures and videos every day. He even ran out and got food and toys. I was so excited to finally meet family that I had not been able to connect with due to my circumstances that I forgot to buy more food before I left! If you don’t choose Jason for your pet, you are missing out on an amazing gift for you and your pet!
Tessa is such a thoughtful and caring dog sitter! She went above and beyond to make sure our senior dog was well cared for while we were away on vacation. We really appreciated her thorough updates, daily photos, and how responsive she was throughout the week. It gave us peace of mind knowing he was in such caring hands. We’d happily recommend Tessa!

Cassidy watched my two cats for 2 weeks while I was away, and they enjoyed it so much that I think they missed her more than me!! I loved all the pictures she sent, and it was so nice knowing that they were being played with and having fun! She was so diligent and always kept me updated about everything. I had full faith that she could handle anything, and it was wonderful having the peace of mind that I didn’t need to worry about them at all. I came back home to clean waters, litter, house, and happy and brushed puddy cats :) I would for sure ask Cassidy to watch my boys again!

Teresa was again fantastic! Our cat was well cared for, and Teresa went above and beyond to change up her schedule to check in on him early when the weather knocked out power out. The peace of mind this brought made our trip so much nicer than it otherwise would have been.

Acacia was amazing with our crazy crew! She left detailed updates for us and was very accommodating with each dog having a special diet and medications. We were able to book her with a short notice before leaving town and so happy we found her! Our timid and shy lil dog even warmed up to her by the end :)

Angel was amazing performing the drop in service for us. Angel was very communicative, reliable, and came through for us in a pinch. We felt comfortable knowing our dogs were being cared for and appreciated the updates throughout the stay. Would absolutely use again and recommend to others!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
