About: I am a passionate animal lover who cares about the well-being of all creatures! I love dogs and have cared for many breeds from Cane Corso to Pomeranians (with a special love for pitties!). I also love cats and their aloof personalities! I have plenty of time to play with your animals on the evenings and weekends! I do work full time but can check in or walk on my lunch hour as well. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I will carefully follow all care instructions, including providing fresh food and water, grooming, exercise, bathroom breaks, and plenty of attention and playtime. I’ll make sure your pet gets the care and routine they’re accustomed to, while also keeping their space clean and comfortable. I’ll pay close attention to their behavior and overall well-being and will promptly let you know if I notice anything unusual or concerning. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pet as I would want someone to treat my own— with patience, kindness, and lots of love!
“Latoya went above and beyond. Took care of our bunny and two cats for a weekend, and we can tell she treated them as if they were her own boys. She did some of the more strenuous and dirty parts that we didn’t expect her to do! Really appreciate her effort and dedication to her craft”

“Chandler is a fantastic sitter! He is always responsive, on time and very kind. Trustworthy and compassionate and has been the perfect person to watch over my senior dog with health issues.”

“Melissa was a wonderful sitter for Ace! She kept me well updated and truly went above and beyond, even bringing in my mail. Ace was clearly happy and well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Melissa and will definitely book with her again.”

“Juliet is super responsive and thoughtful. I was on a few week assignment in the valley and she made their trip much less stressful by giving them a break mid day in sometimes long lonely days at home for them.”

“Very attentive & responsive to my fur babies. The day bf my trip my dog was attacked by another dog & had to get stitches and required antibiotics & other meds. Kara & Brittany was able to adjust their schedules & give the care my baby needed. Would highly recommend & will be using them again in the near future.”
“Couldn't think of anyone else I'd rather come play with my old girl and kitten while on vacation. I was so nervous, because I've never been away from my fur babies. Violet has gone everywhere with us in her 9 years. Jen is excellent with communicating, making sure we have sufficient pics of our pets and shows up exactly as requested. Thank you Jen!”

“So happy with my decision to use this site and I picked just the right person to take care of Andy while I was away. He is not really comfortable with strangers but Autumn took the time and patience to make him feel good with my absence and it took my worry away about leaving him. She made sure all his needs were taken care of and the pictures she took let me know everything was fine. She is totally awesome!! And to add she is very trust worthy with the security of your home. Highly recommend her!!”
“Donny is the absolute best and always goes above and beyond to provide the best care! He is so responsive and takes the best care of my dog and cat. We could not be more pleased!”

“Kamryn was super communicative and took great care of my cats and axolotl (even though she’d never taken care of one before, she was ready to dive in) She sent plenty of pictures, FaceTimed, took care of the litter box, and even washed a mat that one of my cats peed one. Kamryn was super sweet and I definitely recommend her!”

“Tara did a great job watching my Belgian Malinois (Hayduke) while I was out of town. Tara provided pictures from every visit and was very good at communicating and providing updates. I could tell by her questions and the way she interacted with Hayduke that she really cares about animals and treated him as one of her own. Malinois can be a tricky breed to handle, but Tara had no problems at all. I highly recommend Tara to anyone that needs a pet sitter; your pet will be in good hands!”

Rachel was very good with Rico making sure he had fresh water, sunbathing time, and any meds that needed given. He was happy to see her so I know she's a good fit for him and us. It's refreshing knowing I can trust someone with my fur baby while I'm at work.

Allissa is the absolute best. She took great care of my cat while I was away. She was professional, provided regular updates, and gave me peace of mind the entire time. She is very trustworthy and genuinely kind. My cat really liked her. I would recommend her and book with her again.

Brianna was absolutely wonderful with my three cats. I truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to care for them while I was away. She was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such loving hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter!

Thank you for taking such great care of them! I appreciate you making sure they were fed and had water, and I’m glad to hear the walk went well. It means a lot that you enjoy your visits with them—they’re great dogs, and it’s reassuring to know they’re in good hands.
My pup is very high energy, needy, and picky. Alysha is 10/10 rockstar with her and highly recommend her for anyone needing help with their pup. I just got ACL surgery so I will be rebooking with her again for walks. Very trustworthy and tires my pup out for me!

Ashlyn did an outstanding job! Our boys took to her immediately during the meet and greet visit. We forgot to turn home alarm off before she arrived, but she stayed and handled our dogs and the situation like a professional. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer and I’d recommend Ashlyn to anyone who wants their pups to have exceptional care!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
