“Mary was such a great sitter for us! She made sure our pups were very happy and well taken care of! She was attentive to our specific pups needs with high anxiety/energy and was able to play fetch and be there for them! Would highly recommend her for your next booking!”

“Chandler went above and beyond with my babies! He even washed my sheets and put them back on my bed. How nice it was to come home and be able to hop in my bed and go right to sleep. He sent me updates every morning and evening accompanied with pictures and videos of him playing ball and having the best time playing. I will definitely use him again in the future!!!!”

“Alanna was everything we have been looking for in a sitter. She followed our instructions as given and made sure to leave our home as she received it. Her level of communication was great. She sent pictures and updates daily. From the meeting greet to the actual sitting, Alanna has been nothing but professional, patient and accommodating. We look forward to booking her more in the future.”

“Ariel stayed at my house with my dog, Sadie, for 11 days while I was overseas and everything went perfectly! She was great with Sadie, sent picture updates and administered her medicine on time. It was great not to have to worry about Sadie while I was away and my house was tidy and clean when I got back! Thank you, Ariel!”

“Lillie as always was awesome. She was available last minute for a one nighter. It had been a long time since our dog had last seen her, but our dog was so happy. Definitely recommend and know who to turn to in the future.”

About: Use my promo code for $40 off your first booking with me! ASHLYS42779 I’m a certified veterinary assistant with a lifelong love for animals and hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. Throughout my life, I’ve had the opportunity to care for pets with different personalities, needs, and routines, which has taught me how important patience, compassion, and attention to detail are when caring for someone’s furry family members. I’m also Dog and Cat First Aid & CPR certified, giving me additional knowledge and skills to help keep pets safe and respond appropriately in an emergency. My veterinary assistant training has also given me additional knowledge and experience in animal care and well-being. I love ALL breeds and sizes! I plan to continue my education in veterinary medicine with the goal of becoming a veterinarian, so caring for animals is something I’m truly passionate about. I’ll treat every pet in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I am currently in school, so I am not available on Monday and Wednesday. Tuesday and Thursday through Sunday I am available for drop-in visits anytime and boarding in your home! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. Since all drop-in visits and boarding will take place in the client’s home, I’ll make sure to follow your pet’s normal routine and keep their environment calm, familiar, and comfortable. As a certified veterinary assistant, I understand the importance of paying attention to changes in behavior, following care instructions carefully, and providing a safe environment for every pet. I’ll treat your home and your pets with respect and care, keeping you updated throughout my time with them so you can feel confident that they’re happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Yukie did a wonderful job loving on Shiloh while I was out of town for a couple days. Great updates and pics thru out the day. I felt very comfortable having Yukie in my home. Yukie is a sweetheart!”

“Brianna did so great with our fur babies! She was very responsive, took pictures and did everything we asked of her. We have a senior dog that takes medication and a puppy that has lots of energy. Both high maintenance and she did such a good job with them. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be using her again!”
“I have just gotten a rescue Newfoundland and was super scared of leaving him with anyone but finally settled on Juliet because of her professionalism and talking with her. She put my mind at ease with answering all my questions and she listened as I know I rambled on about all the things I was concerned about. I had an 11am appointment and she arrived promptly 15 min early to get herself settled in. I was thinking I was going to need to take my Jericho out myself because he is 120 lbs. But nope she said she had it. And you know what she did. I got plenty of pictures of their stay and I my mind was put at ease so I could concentrate on what I needed to do. I highly recommend Juliet to you. She is professional and takes her job serious. She is dependable and she also communicates with you so your mind can be put at ease. I just had someone show up late to her appt with me so trust me I would tell you if there was a problem. Please consider using Juliet for any pet needs you may have. My rescue dog and my Aria cuddled up next to her on the floor as she sat down. That right there is the proof I need that Juliet is a good person and can be trusted. You can't fake out a dog. It can tell a good person from a bad person. And trust me Juliet is the best. Thank you Juliet for taking care of my two pups. (Even though Jericho is 120 he is still my baby pup)”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. One experience that shaped the way I care for animals was looking after my dog during her battle with cancer. She lived to be 16 years old, and during that time, I learned how important patience, consistency, and compassion are. I was responsible for administering medications, monitoring her comfort, helping with her mobility, and making sure she always felt safe and loved. That experience gave me confidence caring for senior dogs and pets with special needs, while also reinforcing the importance of paying close attention to changes in behavior or health. Whether your dog is an energetic puppy who loves long walks or a senior who needs a slower pace and extra care, I will provide dependable, attentive, and loving care tailored to their individual needs. My goal is for every pet to feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you're away, and for every owner to have complete peace of mind. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine. I typically work at a cheerleading gym coaching evenings from about 4:30 p.m. to 8:00–8:30 p.m., so I'm available most weekdays for morning and early afternoon walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting until around 2:30 p.m. On Fridays, I have even greater flexibility, and I'm also available most weekends. I'm reliable, punctual, and happy to work with pet owners to find a schedule that best meets their needs. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special instructions so I can provide consistent, individualized care. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or taking them on a walk, I'll make sure they have fresh water, plenty of attention, exercise, and a safe environment at all times. I'm attentive to details such as securely locking doors and gates, using leashes and harnesses properly, monitoring pets during walks, and keeping a close eye on their behavior for any signs of stress or illness. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, so I treat every animal as if they were my own and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: I have taken care of my dogs and other peoples dogs for years and I have a strong love for animals. I would love to watch your babies. I’m currently working part-time and have a very flexible schedule! I can do pretty much any time of the day and can work around your schedule. I am willing to care for your dogs however needed. I feel more comfortable watching your pets in your home but can follow any protocols that you prefer.
“Shelby was great! She did a meet and greet the day before to see my boys. She sent pictures and updates. And she was flexible with our schedule. My boys were so well taken care of!”

“Alaina was great! She took the boys for some walks, one got muddy and she bathed him, and one also got an upset stomach one day in the house. She cleaned it all up and made sure he was good to go. She really did well with my furry kids. I will use her again whenever I am in need of someone to trust with them.”

About: Hello! I’m Steven and have 12+ years of taking care of dogs and cats as well as babysitting pets for friends and family whenever they are out of town. I have also fostered several dogs when I’ve had the chance. I have a house with a fenced yard. I also work from home so your pet won’t have to ever be on their own. My dogs are super friendly and love making new friends. I work from home so your pet will never be alone and can be let outside to do their business or play whenever they need to. I have a fenced backyard that your dog won’t be able to get out of. I have experience taking care of a handicap dog as well if needed.
“We've always been hesitant about leaving our dogs with a kennel and were looking for someone to take care of them and allow them to stay in the comfort of their own home. One of my co-workers mentioned Rover so we gave it a try, and we can't say enough about our experience with Natalie! She was easy to work with, very attentive and obviously loved our dogs like they were expecting. We would have Natalie watch our dogs (and our house!) every time we leave town from now on, though once word gets out how good she is, she'll probably be less available! Thank you, Natalie (and Kai)”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Moore
Alanna has been the best dog/house sitter we ever had. She’s super communicative and takes great care of our pets. No matter what we ask of her, she ensures that she follows our instruction and treats our pets and home with the upmost respect and care. Her service has been a blessing to our family over this past year. If you book her, I guarantee that she will be blessing to you and yours as well.

Natalie was fantastic!! I cannot say enough about what a great pet sitter she is. This was our first time and we were a little nervous about how our two girls would react to Natalie. When we got home they were calm and relaxed and acted like we had just been out to eat and were now back home. We had been gone since Monday morning and now it is Sunday afternoon. This is the longest we have been gone. When we left them in boarding for 3 days last trip they were literally traumatized when we picked them up. Never again will we board them. Natalie is the best!!
Brianna helped us with our sweet girl who has gone through heartworm treatments and has to stay calm and quiet for a few weeks. I was able to work knowing that my baby would be taken care of by Brianna. She loves dogs and knows what to do for those dogs that need special attention. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my baby and her brother.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Moore walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Moore maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Moore choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
