“Shelby has pet sit for me now twice. Both times my pets are taken care of WONDERFULLY! She always leaves my house in pristine condition and keeps me updated with pictures of my fur babies each day. Definitely highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have experience caring for dogs for friends and family. I’m patient, gentle, and pay close attention to each pet’s needs. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and gets lots of attention while you’re away. I’m a student with a flexible schedule and am available most days, including weekends. My class schedule varies, but I keep my calendar updated and will always communicate availability clearly. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I focus on keeping your pet’s routine consistent so they feel safe and comfortable. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and needs, and I always provide updates so you know they’re in good hands.
“Ava is not just incredible she’s a genius when it comes to taking care of the babies. She’s so smart and so caring and just simply amazing. Her value is beyond words and you cannot ask for a better person to care for your babies.”

“First time away from my dog.. Although she was happy to see me on my return, she showed no sign of anxiety over my absence. Norma and her family were great to work with for both of us.”

“Kringle was very happy with Juliana. She let him cuddle with her at night which he loves. It was nice to go on vacation and not have to worry about him. I came home to a clean house and she even washed the linens and put them back on the bed.”
“Brianna is attentive and great with my animals; she is very respectful of my property and space when house-sitting. I trust her whenever I need to be away from home to take great care of my dogs and cats. I highly recommend her.”

“Lillie as always was awesome. She was available last minute for a one nighter. It had been a long time since our dog had last seen her, but our dog was so happy. Definitely recommend and know who to turn to in the future.”

“Our pups knew Brianna was an animal lover as soon as she walked in the door. She gave them love like they were her own and sent pics throughout the 6 hour pet/house watch. We will definitely contact her next time we need a sitter.”

“Chris house and 3x dog sat for us for 10 days while we were in Europe. I was hesitant to allow a house sitter I didn’t know stay in our home with our pups. She provided everything I needed to feel at ease. Chris was phenomenal. Highly communicative, true to her word, and very attuned to what our pitties wants and needs were. We had an issue in France and all our luggage was stolen, including our house and car keys for the car parked at the airport. Chris went way above and beyond to help us arrange for the aftermath of that circumstance. We had a flooring repair guy coming in on a day she was there and we were abroad. She made sure the guy called his boss and the job got done after he tried to be acting like there was no job to do! When we came home, the house was cleaner than when we left it and our dogs were calmly listening to anti-anxiety doggy music on YouTube in the den. We’re hesitant to share this info with you because we want Chris to be available whenever we need her, but you ought to know: she is effective, efficient, and goes way above and beyond. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family.”
“Always great service. Rachel takes great care of our fur babies and communicates through the whole process with update texts and pictures. I always feel better when I know she is there to take care of my babies and have never had to worry when she is there. She is our go to person and Redd and Zoey love her. Highly recommend.”

“Kody was awesome! She took such good care of our dog, Rosco! She always responded right away and really seemed to care so much for Rosco! She sent lots of cute photos and took him for car rides. Next time we go out town, we will definitely be reaching out to Kody again!”

“I have just gotten a rescue Newfoundland and was super scared of leaving him with anyone but finally settled on Juliet because of her professionalism and talking with her. She put my mind at ease with answering all my questions and she listened as I know I rambled on about all the things I was concerned about. I had an 11am appointment and she arrived promptly 15 min early to get herself settled in. I was thinking I was going to need to take my Jericho out myself because he is 120 lbs. But nope she said she had it. And you know what she did. I got plenty of pictures of their stay and I my mind was put at ease so I could concentrate on what I needed to do. I highly recommend Juliet to you. She is professional and takes her job serious. She is dependable and she also communicates with you so your mind can be put at ease. I just had someone show up late to her appt with me so trust me I would tell you if there was a problem. Please consider using Juliet for any pet needs you may have. My rescue dog and my Aria cuddled up next to her on the floor as she sat down. That right there is the proof I need that Juliet is a good person and can be trusted. You can't fake out a dog. It can tell a good person from a bad person. And trust me Juliet is the best. Thank you Juliet for taking care of my two pups. (Even though Jericho is 120 he is still my baby pup)”

“We were very impressed with Heaven's efficiency and attentiveness to the animals. Her promptness and care shown to our dog and cats was most appreciated. She sent great pics to us also which gave us peace of mind..”

“Alysha did a great job with our two dogs and cat. We could tell they were in good hands and really enjoyed hanging out with her. She maintained communication and raised concerns when they occurred. Would highly recommend!”

As a professional pet caretaker, the journey begins with a deep passion for animals and a desire to improve their lives. This role goes far beyond simply feeding or walking pets; it’s about creating a personalized environment that ensures both fur-babies thrive in terms of physical health, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being. Whether working independently as a pet sitter or as part of a larger pet care service, the career of an animal caretaker is a blend of hands-on care, intuition, and relationship-building. I also have experience with rabbits as I care for two bunnies, lion heads and lop rabbits. I work a flexible remote schedule that allows me to care for animals as a pet care taker on the side because I love animals. I have open availability for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and overnight stays. As a pet caretaker, safety, trust, and environment are interwoven aspects that shape the quality of care provided to pets. Safety ensures that animals are physically protected and free from harm. Trust is the emotional bond that enables pets to feel secure and connected with their caretaker. The environment, both physical and psychological, fosters well-being, health, and happiness for the animals in your care. By carefully cultivating these elements, a pet caretaker can provide an exceptional level of care, enriching the lives of dogs, cats, rabbits and their owners.
“We've always been hesitant about leaving our dogs with a kennel and were looking for someone to take care of them and allow them to stay in the comfort of their own home. One of my co-workers mentioned Rover so we gave it a try, and we can't say enough about our experience with Natalie! She was easy to work with, very attentive and obviously loved our dogs like they were expecting. We would have Natalie watch our dogs (and our house!) every time we leave town from now on, though once word gets out how good she is, she'll probably be less available! Thank you, Natalie (and Kai)”

Moore pet parents share their Rover experiences
Brianna helped us with our sweet girl who has gone through heartworm treatments and has to stay calm and quiet for a few weeks. I was able to work knowing that my baby would be taken care of by Brianna. She loves dogs and knows what to do for those dogs that need special attention. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my baby and her brother.

Did a wonderful job taking care of my girl. Provided lots of pictures and updates which were greatly appreciated. My girl sometimes will nervous pee and Rachel went above and beyond by washing the things my Maggie peed on. Thank you for taking such great care of my pup.
