“This experience was far better than I ever expected. Norma was great handling our feisty little weenie dog from the first encounter to the time we picked him up. She sent us regular photo updates and was very cheerful and professional. I hope Bruno gets more opportunities to stay with her.”

“My dogs seemed happy when I picked them up. They slept most of the day after I picked them up so I assumed they played hard the entire time. Would use sitter again. I didn’t get any pictures while they were there but I was only two miles away so I wasn’t worried about anything happening.”

“Tara was great! She sent photos and video throughout the stay. I felt so comfortable having her watch my cat while away. I high recommend to use Tara if you want peace of mind for your pet.”

“Yukie was absolutely amazing and made me feel so comfortable leaving Echo with her. She made sure to send updates daily and was extremely responsive. I highly recommend Yukie!”

“We left our two dogs (Chihuahua & French Bulldog), with April, her family and her own dog this past weekend, and we couldn't be happier. We did a meet and greet ahead of the stay, and our boys explored and got to meet everyone. April provided a wonderful, welcoming environment. She communicated well throughout the weekend and sent some snaps, putting our minds at ease. April noted she paid special attention when the weather was warmer outside not to let our frenchie play outside too long. (Which is always a plus knowing someone is giving breed-specific attention with a frenchie) It’s clear they were well-cared for and entertained the entire stay. It’s such a relief to know our boys were in such good hands and had so much fun. We will definitely be booking with April again!”

“So grateful for Rudolph! My overall experience was great. From drop-off to pick-up and everything between was great. I received frequent communication and pictures. My dog looked really happy and to be enjoying herself throughout her stay. I can tell Rudolph has a heart for animals. I will definitely use him again.”

“Lawrene did wonderful boarding my dog for 5 days over Thanksgiving week. Lawrene was kind and responsive. I received daily updates and pictures. I will recommend to family and friends.”

“Brittany took great care of my puppy!! I was hesitant to leave her for the first time but Brittany constantly brought me lots of peace from the moment we did a meet and greet. Brittany took such good care of my Winnie and constantly kept me updated with lots of notes and pictures. She truly treated my puppy like her own (even when my pup was a bit high maintenance) which I greatly appreciate! I could not recommend her more and I will definitely be using her again!!”

“Josephine was an excellent communicator and took great care of our two dogs. They can be nervous and timid in new environments, but she gave them extra love. I received pictures each day so I knew how they were doing. They came home happy and healthy. Will definitely use again.”

“Excellent person She really love the pets, she has all ten time sending pictures, texting and updating all the time , we love her and she should be Pepper sitter for ever!”

“Karmen was nice and very comforting. She responded quickly to messages and just overall provided a good experience for my first time leaving my dog overnight. I honestly don’t think he was ready to leave either.”

“Just had The best experience with Juliet, she had amazing communication during the whole process and even kept us updated with pictures of my mini schnauzer while he was under her care. He seemed very comfortable and well taken care of in her home by both her and all her family. Will definitely be using her services again”

“Niko was absolutely wonderful with our little dog who needs several meds and is blind in one eye. She was great with sending thoughtful updates to put our minds at ease, and was very accommodating on drop off and pick up as we were traveling from out of town. Our dog obviously had a great time with Niko’s family. We would book with her again, no hesitation. She’s the best!”

About: My name is Rudolph, but I go by Tim or Timothy! :) I’m not your basic pet sitter, I’m like a cool pet sitter. I take on fewer pet jobs at one time to give yours more attentive care. I stand out compared to other pet sitters due to my retention with my clients. I intentionally book fewer boarding requests, so your pet is not with a bunch of strangers. Due to high demand, bookings for overnight boardings on weekends is additional $5. I try to do something special and unique for each stay for both the owner & pet! Example. returning flight delayed? No worries. I have dog food & cat food on hand that I offer for emergencies like this at no extra cost to the owner. Pick up/drop off time changed? No worries! Just keep me updated, so the Rover app doesn’t charge you a late pick up/drop off fee. I provide crates, food and water bowls, toys, and pillows, additional leashes, etc. I have my own pet sitter insurance, I do daily walks, and your pet is able to free roam around the house to feel comfy. As a professional pet caretaker, the journey begins with a deep passion for animals and a desire to improve their lives. This role goes far beyond simply feeding or walking pets; it’s about creating a personalized environment that ensures both fur-babies thrive in terms of physical health, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being. Whether working independently as a pet sitter or as part of a larger pet care service, the career of an animal caretaker is a blend of hands-on care, intuition, and relationship-building. I also have experience with rabbits as I care for two bunnies, lion heads and lop rabbits. Upon request, I’d be happy to provide a list of my long term clients that are willing to be listed as a reference in order to provide a testimony of my pet care, and unique skill set compared to other pet care takers. LGBTQ+ friendly. Please note for any travel related bookings, there will be an $0.89 per mile. This includes for any changes during your pets stay that require travel, and any daycare, and pet sitting needs. I work a flexible remote schedule that allows me to care for animals as a pet care taker on the side because I love animals. I have open availability for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and overnight stays. As a pet caretaker, safety, trust, and environment are interwoven aspects that shape the quality of care provided to pets. Safety ensures that animals are physically protected and free from harm. Trust is the emotional bond that enables pets to feel secure and connected with their caretaker. The environment, both physical and psychological, fosters well-being, health, and happiness for the animals in your care. By carefully cultivating these elements, a pet caretaker can provide an exceptional level of care, enriching the lives of dogs, cats, rabbits and their owners.

“Jen has cared for my babies multiple times now and I will continue to highly recommend her! As a rover myself, I so appreciate her commitment to care. I love her detailed reports and the photos she takes. She’s always so thorough and leaves me with peace of mind when she’s caring for my kitties! She’s also incredibly kind and lovely to communicate with. Thanks again Jen!”

“This was my first time using Rover, and though I was a bit uneasy trying out a new service, I feel as if I truly lucked out with finding Ava to take care of my girls while I was away. Ava was really prepared, and made sure she had all of the details for how to care for Rosie and Marion while I was away. She did detailed check-ins, and sent photos! Rosemary seemed like she was always thrilled when Ava came in — greeting her for lots of pets! I was able to feel comfortable and confident while I was away that they were in truly competent and caring hands. She was thorough and took great care of everything. It is nice to come back to everything in order. I will certainly book with Ava again in the future, and give her my highest recommendation to any other fur parents!”

“Wow, Christine is absolutely phenomenal! We have been blown away with her professionalism, her dedication (coming by even in severe weather!) and her enthusiasm. Our cats are a little timid and have never come out to see a sitter before but Christine had them out playing and cuddling with her in no time! The photos she sent were basically professional quality portraits and we were so delighted when she brought over her own laser toy to play with! I will never use another sitter other than Christine again. She is hands down the very best and our cats give her two (four) paws up!! Thanks, Christine!!!”

“Tara was great! She sent photos and video throughout the stay. I felt so comfortable having her watch my cat while away. I high recommend to use Tara if you want peace of mind for your pet.”

“Brianna takes good care of my scaredy cats while we are out of town. She sends photos and follows instructions. She has pet sit for us many times and even alerted us when she noticed one of our guinea pigs was having an eye issue, which could have easily gone unnoticed by other pet sitters. The issue was caught in time to get treatment, so we appreciate her attentiveness to our pets.”

“Rachel was very good with Rico making sure he had fresh water, sunbathing time, and any meds that needed given. He was happy to see her so I know she's a good fit for him and us. It's refreshing knowing I can trust someone with my fur baby while I'm at work.”

“Allissa is the absolute best. She took great care of my cat while I was away. She was professional, provided regular updates, and gave me peace of mind the entire time. She is very trustworthy and genuinely kind. My cat really liked her. I would recommend her and book with her again.”

“She was on time for the drop in visits and met my needs of needing someone for an hour since my new addition is a little hyper and needs play time before going back in her kennel. She also was able to accommodate me with my schedule changes due to personal reasons. She sent me plenty of pictures of both of my fur babies. Thank you again.!!!”

“DJ is awesome! The once a day drop in with our two cats went perfect. She was super attentive and sent photos of them everyday. We highly recommend DJ, you won’t be disappointed??”

About: I've had dogs my entire life, large and small. Having no children, my dogs are my kids. Dogs are as smart as you teach them to be... I've taught all of my fur babies tricks and commands, friends and family are always impressed. I've just always had a knack with them. Dogs bring me so much joy and I have plenty of experience with puppies to elderly ones. I'm self employed and my workload varies daily. I'm looking to fill in some extra time on my hands by providing in house visits to let your dogs out, feed, and give some loves to them while you're busy at work or on vacation. In time, I may offer overnight boarding once I get to know your pets. For now, I just offer doggie daycare on days when I'm home all day, for only one family at a time with one or two dogs max. So you don't have to worry about your babies being around 10's of other dogs. I have two older mild mannered doggies about 45 and 60 ish pounds that are friendly with others. We have a very large fenced in backyard they enjoy running and playing in when the weather is nice. Our house is cozy with lots of doggie beds. I can follow your directions as to what is needed for your furry babies so that they get fabulous care and love. I look forward to meeting you all and building a trustworthy relationship.💕🐾

“Cyndi cares about Bazil and shows that by being attentive to her moods and needs. She is always on time and pays attention to weather and temperature when walking Bazil. She is also willing to give Bazil snuggles when she doesn't feel like walking, and treats when she does. I appreciate how much she cares for my dogo!:)”

“So good with my baby! Lolli absolutely loves Donna. My pup is very timid and Donna is great with her. She knows exactly how to make a dog feel safe and comfortable. I 100% recommend her!”

“This was our first time using Rover, and Katie made it a wonderful and seamless experience. We could not have asked for a more perfect person to trust our sweet boy with. Katie is exceptional and a true animal lover. Our Ghost adored her from the moment they met and literally jumped for joy at her arrival each morning for his daily walk. My parents, who looked after Ghost while we were away, could not say enough great things about her and her care of Ghost. Katie is/was incredibly punctual, professional, thoughtful, caring, sweet, trusting, and can confidently handle large breed dogs. We deeply appreciated all of her great communication and enjoyed receiving our daily updates, which were so thoughtful and detailed. She also took some amazing and beautiful photos of our boy! A wonderful bonus! While we were away, Katie was willing to go above and beyond and help in any way she could, which gave us great peace of mind. We are incredibly grateful to have connected with her, and will definitely reach out to her for any future needs. We, along with Ghost, cannot recommend her enough. Should you choose Katie, you can have complete confidence that your fur babies are in great hands. Thank you so much, Katie!🙏🐾”

About: I have loved and cared for both dogs and cats my entire life. I am the proud mom of 2 sweet dogs and 3 senior cats. I spoil and pamper them silly! I am not squeamish about picking up poop, cleaning litter pans or vomit messes. Over the years I have honed a few tricks for bathing, medicating and calming pets. Always happy to take long walks or throw balls and frisbees in the yard. Your pups will definitely get all the exercise they want with me. Cats can expect plenty of pets, neck rubs and play as well. I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to pamper your pets! I am available from 9am - 3pm every day for home visits. If you want your pup to have a fun day out, I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs who are always willing to play!
About: I've owned animals most of my life but am currently pet-free, which means I am happy to get some borrowed love from your animals when you're away. I've cared for quirky dogs, including my own autistic dog, sitting for elderly animals that need special care and regular medication, and helping to reinforce training. I'm happy to be cuddly with animals on the bed and furniture or cuddle with them on the floor. I have three years of consistent pet-sitting experience for friends and acquaintances but decided to use Rover to expand my pet care. I'm currently working on my PhD which means I am home studying most of the day but do go to campus for my own teaching and classes, which are in about 3 hour chunks. Weekends I may go out to meet with friends, but never for more than 4 hours at a time and can adjust to animal needs. I always defer first to the pet owner what they want and what will make them and their animal most comfortable. With my previous pets I enjoyed cuddling on the couch and in bed, so don't mind if your animal is used to being furniture-bound. I like to take a stroll with dogs each time we go out so it's not such a quick trip to get some of their and my energy out. I've had dogs in apartments and houses so am used to the differences that come with each. If possible, I think dog parks are a great way to have leash-free fun as well to make up for my less spectacular ball-throwing skills. Ideally, I want to be amongst your pet's best friends by the end of the experience so they are less stressed when you're away.
“I just want to thank you for what you did for king I really appreciate it. You’ve been so helpful. Love the way you treated him and the way you played with him. Never seen him happy with another person. I just want to tell you how great you are. I would definitely leave king again with you anytime.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was a teen watching pets for friends and family. I’m a patient person and enjoy working with animals. Dogs especially have always been a joyful part of my life. I work from home and have free time on my hands. My schedule is open for walks, playtime, and boarding. The household wakes up at 6:00 am so I'm available anytime after. I have a large fenced in yard that your pet is able to play in and run around safely. Inside we keep cords tucked away to make sure inside is safe as well.
“Tana was wonderful with my dog. She showed up on scheduled, and was very good at communicating with me while she worked with my dog. I would definitely book her again. She genuinely loves animals and it shows.”

“Josephine was an excellent communicator and took great care of our two dogs. They can be nervous and timid in new environments, but she gave them extra love. I received pictures each day so I knew how they were doing. They came home happy and healthy. Will definitely use again.”

About: I have cared for animals since I was a kid taking care of family and friend’s pets. I enjoy the outdoors and have over 10 years experience with leash training. I took a first aid course at Rose State, which covered pet CPR and first aid and certified for any emergency situations. I’m a volunteer at a shelter/vet office for the last 12 years and love every minute of my time spent there. My two dogs Jack and Zero get along great with other animals and are very playful and love when other pets come and stay. At my home you can rest assure and have peace of mind that your loved pet is well taken care of. I currently work from home and have open hours. My daily routine consists of pet care already with potty breaks throughout the day and sometimes night, and walks in the park just around the corner. Walks are taken later in the evening and for high energy pets taken morning and evening. Feedings are done at clients request water is available at all times. All pets are watched at all times inside and outside. House and yard has been pet proofed and yard is fenced. Walks are taken always with a leash. Feedings are done separately so every pet is safe and happy. Pictures and updates are provided 3 times a day and can be more if requested.
“Just had The best experience with Juliet, she had amazing communication during the whole process and even kept us updated with pictures of my mini schnauzer while he was under her care. He seemed very comfortable and well taken care of in her home by both her and all her family. Will definitely be using her services again”

“They were great! Wren "Tots" got to go with me to a few events so I was able to pick her up and drop her off for her "sleepovers" with Holly and Justin. She really seemed much calmer than when I boarded her at the vet, and being able to be with me during the day (I was traveling from out if town and couldn't keep her at my hotel) kept her more relaxed. Thank you to them for being so flexible with our time! HIGHLY recommend them for any type of pet sitting!”

“We love Kimberly. I am always referring my friends to Rover and specifically to Kimberly, I always know Storm and Cooper are going to be safe and cared for in her home.”

“The last time we boarded our dog overnight, she had severe separation anxiety and didn’t eat the entire time. I knew as soon as Dakota said that she ate her dinner and slept through the night that we were in great hands. Can’t tell you enough, how relieved I was!”

“I had a last minute work trip and Destini took great care of my 8 week old puppy. She kept me updated with pictures and I felt at peace with my puppy being in her care. I highly recommend her, and will definitely use her services again in the near future.”

“Amanda took great care of my pug. She sent updates and pictures daily. She eased my mind, and my dog was in great hands. Pugzy loved her backyard and I don’t think he wanted to leave, lol.”

“Bessie is always tired but happy when we pick herbup from Ashley, Ashley always does a great job keeping us updated and sends lots of pictures! Bessie always seems to have a great time!”
