“Rochelle was great with my chihuahua Buddy.. first time useing a pet sitter so I didn't know what to expect... Buddy did great with Rochelle her two fur babies and guest fur babies... will def call her again :)”

“The girls seemed to have a good time Audreauna. I received daily updates with photos which was fantastic! Audreauna was very accommodating for drop off and pick up. We will definitely be using Audreauna for future dog services ?”
“Niko is a wonderful sitter. My pup stayed with her for a week. She was very communicative and sent pictures throughout his stay. He got to play with her dogs which was such a treat for him! I'm fairly certain he would've stayed if I had let him. If you are looking for a loving and caring sitter Niko is the one!”

About: I have had 2 dogs during my life, but they are my world. No matter the age, size, or breed of dog, I have had 6+ years of experience in caring, bathing, and long-term sitting. Our furry friends deserve the best care they can get. Most days I’m completely open, but if you need a sitter on days I work, no biggy! I only work a few hours a day, so I am still available to watch, walk, drop in, and bathe your pups, as long as we’re both flexible! For long-term sitting, I am wide open, including weekends. Times to check in and care for your animals during those times can be discussed to figure out what would work best for both you and myself, along with whether or not you want me to stay overnight with them. If you are wanting to include a dog bath with any of my services, just let me know and we will discuss things like products, timing, and other details that I will need to know before providing one. After all is said and done, I will make the note on your booking and all will be good! I have been actively caring for other people's pets in their homes for 5+ years now. Every concern, idea, and notice of yours will be taken into account and followed when I am in your home.
“Anne was super communicative and made me feel so comfortable to leave my babies with her. This was my first rover sitting experience and it was excellent! Anne sent pictures of the dogs and updated me every day they were staying at her house.”

“I couldn’t ask for a better doggy sitter. Sophie has challenging mobility issues and Debbie took special care of all her needs. She kept me updated daily and I appreciate her so much.”
“They were great! Wren "Tots" got to go with me to a few events so I was able to pick her up and drop her off for her "sleepovers" with Holly and Justin. She really seemed much calmer than when I boarded her at the vet, and being able to be with me during the day (I was traveling from out if town and couldn't keep her at my hotel) kept her more relaxed. Thank you to them for being so flexible with our time! HIGHLY recommend them for any type of pet sitting!”

“I could not have asked for a better experience! Lawrene was very responsive and my Pixie was very comfortable in her care and came home happy. I hope that we are able to rebook in the future. Thank you!”

“Jaine was super accommodating in agreeing to watch my two bernedoodles at the last minute. She welcomed me into her home and her husband and son were already playing with my girls when I left. I received multiple photos and updates! I would definitely use Jaine again!”

“Suzette took care of my dog for an entire week while we were on vacation, and I couldn't have been happier with the level of care and attention she provided. Suzette's regular updates, including pictures and videos, kept me connected with my dog even while I was away. It was evident that she genuinely cared for my dog's well-being and happiness. Her communication and responsiveness were exceptional, and I never had to worry about my dog's welfare during his stay. One of the things that stood out was the loving environment she and her family created for my dog. It was clear that her family are true animal lovers with plenty of people to play with my dog and give him constant attention. This meant that my dog had a great time and received ample attention and care. I was grateful to see my dog being treated as part of the family, and it made me feel at ease knowing he was in such caring hands. I highly recommend Suzette to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and loving caregiver for their furry friend.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life. My last baby traveled over the rainbow bridge and I’m looking for dogs to care for and give lots of snuggles. I work from home and have a lot of flexibility throughout the day. I have a fenced yard with lots of room to run. My two grandsons are here after school most days, so if I’m watching your family fur baby in my home they need to be good with kids. Happy to take walks, play fetch, and be their companion while you’re away. I work from home and have flexibility to go for walks, take outside fun breaks and give love and snuggles throughout the day. I am also able to go to your home to let your animals out and give some love a few times a day if needed. I can bring my laptop and work from your home to pet sit if you have high speed internet. I’m off most weekends. I have a large fences yard and a park close to my house. I live alone with no animals. I have two grandsons (7 and 11 years old) that walk to my house after school. I usually only have them for an hour or two before they are picked up. But if your dogs are staying at my house they need to be kid friendly.
“Rosa kept my pups for a long weekend. She was kind enough to agree to a pre-stay meetup. My dogs don’t normally do well with change or new people and will stick to themselves until I return. However, they love her and seem to have loved their stay with her. She sent photos throughout the weekend and they seemed to be living their best lives. I would 💯 recommend her!”

About: Can't wait to meet your fur family! I am a secretary at Lincoln elementary. I love caring for the students and I would love to care for your pets too! I have been a pet caretaker for as long as I can remember. From my Yorkshire Terrier, Tiffany Rene, my sweet beagle/lab mix Lucy, to my cats Bucket, Lemmy, and Pepper. Our gentle giant Betty (Irish wolf hound/poodle/terrier) went to the rainbow bridge. Now I have my one dilute tortoiseshell cat, Steel. We also have Bluey, a Texas blue heeler mix. My friends bring their pets around and everyone always gets along. I have a 19 and 17 year old (humans) who love animals too. So they can help out as well! I do look forward to meeting and caring for your furry family members! Pet care is always part of my routine. Taking care of my own pet needs and the needs of any other pet I am responsible for is an honor. I have a fenced in yard. Bluey is more of a go out and come in gal, but she would love to hang out and play. We go on walks &/or dog park.

Austin was fantastic with our puppy! I know that puppy energy can be a lot for anyone and Austin didn't mind it at all. He had fantastic things to say about our crazy dog and his comments about some of our dog's personality let me know that he truly watched and noticed him. Our trip was also last minute and Austin accommodated us and sent pictures and videos of him that my children absolutely loved. Thank you Austin for taking care of our pup. We will definitely reach out again.

Paige was amazing with our dog Romy! She boarded her for the weekend and made everything so easy for us. We really appreciated that she had a fenced-in area, and she even handled pick-up and drop-off, which was such a huge help. She kept us updated with lots of photos and messages throughout the stay, which gave us peace of mind. Romy looked happy and well cared for the entire time. We would definitely book with Paige again!

This was first time to use this app.,and couldn't be more pleased. Angel was exceptional with our Yorkie and we felt comfortable knowing he was being well cared for. Angel was very good about keeping us informed with texts and pic's. Thanks Angel! We will definitely be using on our future trips.

Jessica was wonderful during Daisy’s spring break stay. She sent updates and pictures every day and stayed in constant communication, which was very important to us while we were traveling. Her home is very clean, quiet, and calm, which was perfect for Daisy. This is a great environment for older dogs or dogs that are used to a quieter household. She cared for Daisy as if she were her own, and it truly showed. Daisy came back happy and healthy, and we could tell she was well cared for the entire time. We would absolutely book with Jessica again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
