“Goober loves spending time with Debbie and Jim and especially with his fur friends!! Debbie always sends pictures and lets me know how he is doing. Highly recommend Debbie for boarding services!!”

“Ashley is always great with Jack! I have left him with her three times, and she always sends me great photos and updates. He is always happy! I love that. She is able to pick him up and drop him off. That really helps!”

“Niko is a wonderful sitter. My pup stayed with her for a week. She was very communicative and sent pictures throughout his stay. He got to play with her dogs which was such a treat for him! I'm fairly certain he would've stayed if I had let him. If you are looking for a loving and caring sitter Niko is the one!”

“Dixie is one very happy dog when she stays with Lawrene. She’s excited when I take her and I know Dixie is stress free, happy and having a wonderful time. I so appreciate the great care she receives with Lawrene.”

“Chris was fantastic with our girl!! She was so patient and let her adjust to being in a new place. She sent daily updates with pics and videos. I knew our girl was being treated like the queen she is! Highly recommend and will definitely book again! Wonderful experience!!”

About: I have loved dogs since I was a little girl. I have always had one in my life. A day without a dog isn't possible for me. I have dog sat for neighbors and friends and a few clients for quite some time. I love to play with the dogs and go for walks. Your dog will be well taken care of with me as I know dogs are some people's kids. Because I know mine sure is!

About: My motto is that it's my responsibility to make sure that each dog feels the most comfortable, loved, and most importantly safe in the short time I have them. Every day that I'm with your pup, I keep that motto at the forefront of my mind. I know how important dogs are to our lives, so it's my duty to make sure that your pup gets to experience the same kind of love and care that they're used to at home. I'm an out of state college student who has three larger dog breeds at home that I miss so much. And I’ve grown up around dogs all my life so making pups as happy as I can and taking care of them just come second nature for me! Although I've been a lifelong dog lover, my experience with pups is much more far-reaching than that. I recently have over 2 years of volunteering experience at a no-kill animal shelter called “City of Norman Animal Welfare” and I’m hoping to take my lived experience and activism with animals into a summer job. I've worked with dogs big and small and loved taken care of all of them equally. I've also been trained in Pet First Aid and am experienced administering medication. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It's a great way to make sure that we're all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup, their needs, and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it's always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs!! like to get down on their level to show them that I'm a welcome presence here to make friends, and I'm sure we'll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it is to be away from your best friend, so communication is the name of my game. I'll make sure to send plenty of regular updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together <3 Note: Might do cats in the future, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve grown allergic so Benadryl is a must. I am currently working an internship at a museum with very flexable hours for the summer giving me lots of time to play and walk your pups! With the internship I just need to work 12 hours a week but can come and go from the museum as I like and can take an hour off for lunch, work only 2 days a week, only work early mornings, it is truely amazing having such an independent schedule, which is why I thought dog sitting & walking would be a great idea. Would love to do boarding/doggy daycare, like I said in my bio, I miss my dogs at home so much so giving some weekend love to yours won’t be a problem. But I do live in an apartment and having any animal for longer than a week without having them registered with the building would be against my lease, so I cannot do super long sleepovers :( My entire apartment complex is fenced in but because theres other people they would be on a leash, but theres PLENTY of grass to go potty and frolic. We also have a large yard in the center of the apartment complex where they can run and stretch their legs off leash. While all dogs are outside on or off leash they will NEVER leave my sight regardless of have a history of running away or not. Love playing fetch with dogs and rewarding good behavoir with lots of treats. (Dietary concerns considered) I drive a toyota highlander SUV with plenty of space for transporting your pups and making sure they’re secure and totally safe. Just like watching your dogs transporting them should be done with the utmost care and I have a squeaky clean drivng record. I currently do not have a crate at my apartment, but dogs generally feel most comfortable in their own bedding especially in a new unfamilar environment, if you’d allow me to bring it from your home and return it with your pet. There’s plenty of space in the apartment, but I’d only sit about three large dogs at a time to allow plenty of playtime space or incase they get the zoomies. Dog beds or crates can be in the livingroom or my bedroom wherever your pet is most comfortable sleeping. I am also comfortable washing dogs after having multiple sessions with them to gauge temperment. A lot of dogs get anxious with baths and I am more then comfortable handling that and have multiple times in the past, but I do not need to put myself in harms way dealing with aggressive untrained dogs. Nonetheless I understand that for a lot of middle aged dog parents bathing dogs is tedious and can hurt your back, so I am happy to provide a clean pup for an additional tip! (Skin concerns considered with products used)

“We love how Aubrey pays attention to detail. She wanted to make sure that she knew my little guy: from his treats and his routine down to the way he likes to play ball. I never worried a minute while I was out of town because she had everything under control. It was such a comfort knowing that my little guy was happy and having fun!! I would HIGHLY recommend Aubrey and her pet sitting services to ALL my friends with furry people. Don’t even worry about stressing or planning for a trip to the kennel, just let Her know you need a sitter and her door is open even at 7am on a Friday. If you need to extend the stay last minute she is up for the challenge!!! AND, she will update you as often as you’d like regarding your pets and their behavior with photos and text!! Book with her NOW!!!”

“My dog tends to be a lot to handle but Kara & Brittany had no trouble with him. They sent pictures daily and let me know how he was doing overall. I will definitely be asking them to care for him in the future!”

About: Hi! I’m a dependable animal lover who understands that pets are family. As a mom, I’m naturally patient, attentive, and used to caring for others. Whether your pet loves playtime, long walks, cuddles, or simply sticking to their routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in good hands. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work part-time and have flexibility throughout the week for drop-ins, walks, feedings, and check-ins. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I do my best to maintain their normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take time to learn their routine, personality, and any special needs before each visit. I’ll make sure they have fresh water, meals, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I respect your home, follow instructions carefully, and provide updates and photos so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in good hands.
“This was our first experience with Rover and couldn't be happier. Amy and Scott are amazing people. I know when we leave Melody she is safe, sound, and truly cared for.”

“Julie was amazing with my dog! Almost immediately my girl warmed up to her (which doesn’t happen often) and Julie snuggled with her lots, which she LOVES! I will for sure be boarding with Julie in the future.”

“Tiffany was so kind and patient with my little gremlin! My pup needed extra time and attention and she over provided! I got constant updates and any worry I might had had was answered and reassured. My pup looked so happy and was glowing the entire time. Tiffany held on to her for 2 whole weeks, and Willow came out so healthy and happy! Thank you, Tiffany!!”

About: Can't wait to meet your fur family! I am a secretary at Lincoln elementary. I love caring for the students and I would love to care for your pets too! I have been a pet caretaker for as long as I can remember. From my Yorkshire Terrier, Tiffany Rene, my sweet beagle/lab mix Lucy, to my cats Bucket, Lemmy, and Pepper. Our gentle giant Betty (Irish wolf hound/poodle/terrier) went to the rainbow bridge. Now I have my one dilute tortoiseshell cat, Steel. We also have Bluey, a Texas blue heeler mix. My friends bring their pets around and everyone always gets along. I have an 18 and 16 year old (humans) who love animals too. So they can help out as well! I do look forward to meeting and caring for your furry family members! Pet care is always part of my routine. Taking care of my own pet needs and the needs of any other pet I am responsible for is an honor. I have a fenced in yard. Bluey is more of a go out and come in gal, but she would love to hang out and play. We go on walks &/or dog park.
“We highly recommend Patricio! He took great care of our sensitive dog, Ginger. He sent us a lot of photos and she looked very happy and relaxed. She got to have a lot of playtime with his sweet dog, Laika. He was very communicative and accommodating. When we picked up Ginger, she was happy and tired, so we could tell she had a lot of fun. We will definitely book another stay for Ginger.”

“Our Wendy is very happy here and loves how kind and attentive they are to her. I’m very picky with who I let watch her and can’t tell you how thankful I am for them to care for our Wendy girl when we are out of town. They are always quick to answer and make themselves very available. I can’t imagine sending her anywhere else! Thank you!”

“Great communication. My two pups were well taken care of and in a great mood when dropping off and picking up. A safe environment that we will definitely be using again!”

10/10 would recommend Marissa! She was extremely easy to communicate with and was very flexible with my schedule. She took great care of my baby and kept me updated the entire time with pictures. I had such a piece of mind knowing he was in good care and will definitely use Marissa again! ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
