“I couldn’t ask for a better doggy sitter. Sophie has challenging mobility issues and Debbie took special care of all her needs. She kept me updated daily and I appreciate her so much.”
“Dakota is great. 1st time he has watched our dog and will definitely use him again. Very responsive to messages, sent us pics and videos, and kept us informed. He fed and gave meds as requested. Took a bit for our shy boy to ply ball with Dakota, but Dakota kept trying and letting Drogo (our dog) get use to him and before long they were playing fetch. Thanks Dakota!”

About: I have worked for a national pet boarding servicer the past two years and have had dogs my whole life. I have taken care of dogs of all ages I am a college student at UNT but live at home in Prosper on the weekends. I can be flexible and accommodate multiple schedules throughout the weekend I have a cane corso at home that I take care of. I have grown up with all size dogs from Great Danes to yorkies
“Kara and her family were so sweet! It was our first time boarding our dog, Red. He got along so well with her dogs and Kara would send updates that were reassuring and made us so happy. I would highly recommend Kara and will be booking again!”

“Austin was great. The only issue we had was that he didn't live as close to the city as we had thought. It was a 40 minute drive from our hotel. But we made arrangements for us to drop Cash off and Austin brought him back to us. He was very kind and attentive to Cashs needs and kept us updated throughout the entire weekend with pictures and videos. I would definitely use Austin again”

“Juliet and her family were absolutely wonderful to our dogs while we went on vacation. We felt so good that we could be worry free knowing our babies were in great hands with this sweet family. Will be back for future trips!”

“Amber and her Husband took great care of my dog! I felt immediately comfortable with them from the first message and booked immediately. My dog has anxiety but they made him feel super comfortable and he warmed up to them and their home effortlessly! Thank you guys a ton, will definitely book again:)”

“I could not have asked for a better experience! Lawrene was very responsive and my Pixie was very comfortable in her care and came home happy. I hope that we are able to rebook in the future. Thank you!”

“Our family went on vacation for spring break and we unfortunately could not bring Bandit with us. Fortunately, we found Genella on Rover. Not only did she have very reasonable rates, but also excellent reviews. This made our choice simple and we couldn’t be happier with the service she provided. Or boy was taken very good care of with belly rubs every day, and friends to play with. We were provided with daily updates, pictures and videos of his acclimation to her home and his time spent while we were away. Her family was very warm and welcoming of him and very easy to work with. Highly recommend this sitter if you’re in the area. Thank you very much from me and my family.”

“Julie was excellent! She was quick to respond to any messages and sent so many videos, photos, and updates, which eased my mind knowing my dog was happy and doing well while I was away. As soon as I got him home, he seemed like his normal self and was not at all anxious or upset (which is a big change from previous boarding situations when it seemed to take at least a day for him to get back to normal). It was obvious my dog was well cared for by Julie, and I look forward to having her care for him in the future.”

“This was our first experience with Rover and couldn't be happier. Amy and Scott are amazing people. I know when we leave Melody she is safe, sound, and truly cared for.”

“I had a last minute work trip and Destini took great care of my 8 week old puppy. She kept me updated with pictures and I felt at peace with my puppy being in her care. I highly recommend her, and will definitely use her services again in the near future.”

“Chris was fantastic with our girl!! She was so patient and let her adjust to being in a new place. She sent daily updates with pics and videos. I knew our girl was being treated like the queen she is! Highly recommend and will definitely book again! Wonderful experience!!”

About: Dogs are truly part of the family in my house. I love having them around, and am happiest when I have a dog to play with, love on, and snuggle. What sets me apart is that your pup won’t just be staying with a sitter. They’ll be welcomed into my home and get lots of attention, playtime, affection, and companionship. I’ll handle the responsible side of their care and make sure the routine and needs are followed, while happily providing the extra play and snuggles. I am home full time, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. My dogs are included in the everyday rhythm of my home, so yours will get plenty of attention and won’t spend long stretches alone. I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of room to run and play, +2 friendly dogs who love having new friends around. Since I am home full-time, pets get lots of attention throughout the day, regular potty and outdoor breaks, playtime, and plenty of snuggles. I want visiting dogs to feel comfortable safe and like part of the family while they’re with me.
“Tiffany was a great sitter for my Bernese Mountain Dog. I was very nervous, as this was my first time ever leaving him. Tiffany put me at ease with her knowledge about animals and my dog took to her immediately during the meet & greet prior to me leaving him. Tiffany sent updates throughout his stay with pictures/videos. We received back a happy, exhausted, dog. Tiffany will be our go to for any future pet sitting needs.”

About: We currently have a 15 year old Yorkie and 2 rescues which we love, and we have kept friends and family's dogs over the years. We have a fenced yard and garden in back. I'm retired so I'm around most of the time. Sometimes I'm gone for a few hours running errands or going shopping for my business., or a music rehearsal. We live walking distance from the University of Oklahoma so we can keep your fur baby on game day! I have a fenced yard and garden, and 3 small dogs to keep your baby company. We have kept friends and family's dogs and they all get along with the others.
“They were great! Wren "Tots" got to go with me to a few events so I was able to pick her up and drop her off for her "sleepovers" with Holly and Justin. She really seemed much calmer than when I boarded her at the vet, and being able to be with me during the day (I was traveling from out if town and couldn't keep her at my hotel) kept her more relaxed. Thank you to them for being so flexible with our time! HIGHLY recommend them for any type of pet sitting!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Noble
Paige was amazing with our dog Romy! She boarded her for the weekend and made everything so easy for us. We really appreciated that she had a fenced-in area, and she even handled pick-up and drop-off, which was such a huge help. She kept us updated with lots of photos and messages throughout the stay, which gave us peace of mind. Romy looked happy and well cared for the entire time. We would definitely book with Paige again!

10/10 would recommend Marissa! She was extremely easy to communicate with and was very flexible with my schedule. She took great care of my baby and kept me updated the entire time with pictures. I had such a piece of mind knowing he was in good care and will definitely use Marissa again! ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
