“The last time we boarded our dog overnight, she had severe separation anxiety and didn’t eat the entire time. I knew as soon as Dakota said that she ate her dinner and slept through the night that we were in great hands. Can’t tell you enough, how relieved I was!”

“Bob and Lyn were great hosts. Although I missed my fur baby.. I did not worried about him. They loved on him like he was one of their own. Would highly recommend. We will use them again in the future.”

“Lindsey was great with our pup! She sent us pictures and we felt so reassured while we were away. We highly recommend Lindsay and will plan on booking with her again in the future!”

“We could not love Lisa and her family more!! Miller is treated as one of their own and is taken care of so well. I always know he is safe and happy at Lisa's. We are so lucky we found someone as caring as Lisa. I would give 10 stars if I could!”

“Taylor kept our Tucker for the first time over the last 5 days. We were happy to receive updates with pictures a couple times a day. Taylor made Tucker feel at home with his extended nap times, his play time and long walks. We will definitely ask Taylor to sit for us in the future.”

“Brittnee is the best puppy sitter ever! She picked up my puppy from the boarder and helped me have peace of mind while out of town. She sent the cutest updates and my puppy was so happy when I picked her up ◡̈”

“Derek and Morgan did great with Koda! We were able to do a meet and greet, they sent multiple pictures and updates daily, and were flexible with drop off and pick up times. They even got Koda a special treat. Will definitely book again with them.”

“They were great! Wren "Tots" got to go with me to a few events so I was able to pick her up and drop her off for her "sleepovers" with Holly and Justin. She really seemed much calmer than when I boarded her at the vet, and being able to be with me during the day (I was traveling from out if town and couldn't keep her at my hotel) kept her more relaxed. Thank you to them for being so flexible with our time! HIGHLY recommend them for any type of pet sitting!”

“This is my second boarding with Darren. The first time she was timid and shy, also not so great friends with his dog. This second visit she seems to have loosened up a lot more and feels more comfortable. Darren is able to take care of Reina and provide her a lot of attention. She was sick and required medication administration and special diet instructions. He was able to do those tasks for her without issues or complaints. I will continue to use Darren for future dog sitting.”

“Sarai is amazing!!! She was so sweet to our 2 pups, and gracious and flexible! We were late getting back, and she couldn’t have been any nicer. I would reccomend her 1000x over!”

“Lady had such a fun week with Kayleigh, Mike and their fur family Tito and Paxton. Highlights included multiple walks per day and non stop wrestling matches with Tito. Although there was no clear winner to the wrestle matches they both ended in high spirits and looked forward to their next meeting in the backyard. We received constant pictures/updates throughout her stay which we really appreciated. We know they took great care of Lady and treated her like their own. We would highly recommend Kayleigh to anyone!”

“This was our first experience with Rover and couldn't be happier. Amy and Scott are amazing people. I know when we leave Melody she is safe, sound, and truly cared for.”

“The sweetest family! I am beyond grateful for the care our 2 dogs received while we were away. From caring for our elderly diabetic girl to our energetic gal they had the best stay. Couldn’t have asked for better communication or care. When our trip back home didn’t go as planned Jacqueline and Christopher were so accommodating and made it so we didn’t have to stress. Couldn’t recommend them enough!”

About: I’ve been a lifelong pet owner and have provided care for friends and family’s pets including vacation boarding, drop in visits, and daily care. I currently have a cat named Jinx and I’ve always had animals in my home. pets just make everything better. My schedule is flexible, my home is chill, and your fur baby will be smothered with love (if they’re cool w that). Your pet gets lots of lovns attention and a calm environment at my place or I’ll bring that same energy to yours. walks, playtime, cuddles, whatever they need
About: I have always loved dogs, and mine are my babies. I will treat your fur baby like my own; treats, veggies, belly rubs, and love!! I am new to Rover, however, I am not new to pet sitting. I started pet sitting about 10 years ago and have experience with all sizes, having 5 dogs at once, and long term stays (1-2 weeks). I work full-time during the week, typically getting home around 530-6. If I have after work plans, I run home to feed and check on the fur babies. My weekends are typically spent at home cleaning and prepping for the next week. I have a fenced in backyard and a doggy door!! I have two friendly pups (a Weimaraner and a Cocker Spaniel mix) who love to play.
About: Ever since I was little, I’ve had a huge love for animals. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I’ve always felt that pets are truly part of the family. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ve been dog sitting for family and friends for years, and I’m so excited to now expand my experience through Rover. I’ll also be attending grooming school this fall, which is something I’ve always dreamed of doing. I’ve always known I wanted to work with animals, and I’m really excited to continue learning and building a career doing something I genuinely love. I’m reliable, flexible, patient, and have a very calm presence around animals. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know how much our pets mean to us, and I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I would want for my own. I’m so excited to meet you and your furry family members! 🐾❤️ My schedule is currently very flexible, so I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention and care they deserve! I’m available most days and am happy to work around your schedule whenever possible. I always follow the routine and instructions that each owner provides because I know every pet has different needs and preferences. Whether that means sticking to their feeding schedule, giving medications, going on walks, playing, or simply giving them lots of cuddles and company, I want them to feel as comfortable and happy as possible.

This is my family’s first time using the app and having someone look after Miles. We had a family trip planned and we could not take Miles with us. I can’t say enough about Robbie G and how he took care of Miles as well as his updates and pictures of Miles. Robbie G helped to make our vacation a worry free experience.

Lady had such a fun week with Kayleigh, Mike and their fur family Tito and Paxton. We would highly recommend Kayleigh to anyone!

Micah and her husband were incredible! They followed all instructions to a “t” and they taught us some things about our dog. We let them know how our dog was learning how to socialize and they taught our dog some things and taught us as well! They sent the cutest videos and photos of Mansa playing. Would definitely rebook! Worth every penny!

Chrissy and Josh were a perfect choice to take care of our three dogs while we were out of town. Their home was so calm and inviting and their personalities made our dogs feel safe and relaxed. The pictures that they sent us showed our dogs happy, relaxed and well-taken care of. I can’t recommend them enough.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
