“My former sitter was no longer available, so we needed a new sitter. I'm so glad we found Heather! I felt totally comfortable leaving our year old puppy with her. She has several dogs of her own but she took the time to allow each one to get comfortable with our puppy before putting them altogether. She even shared her bed with our snuggle buddy. She embraced him as her own and I couldn't ask for a better sitter for our sweet boy. We'll definitely use her again!”

“Kathleen and Ryan watched our dog for a week while we were on vacation and did such a great job of taking care of her and keeping us updated with photos! I think our dog may have enjoyed her time with them more than she does with us!”

“Michele and Tommy were amazing per usual. They always take exceptional care of Max and he absolutely loves spending time with them. As long as they are avaliable and in my area I will always choose them to watch my dog, I would honestly drive hours to choose them if I needed to.”

“Yukie was absolutely amazing and made me feel so comfortable leaving Echo with her. She made sure to send updates daily and was extremely responsive. I highly recommend Yukie!”

“Jenny is great. She has a beautiful home, I felt comfortable leaving her to care for my senior dog Dobby. They gave him so much love and took great care of him. Jenny kept me updated and sent pics, she is super quick to respond to messages. I highly recommend and will be using her again to watch my pup.”

“Thanks Norma and family! Penny and Presley really enjoyed staying with you. We really enjoyed hearing how they were each day and seeing pictures of them playing. We hope to come back soon.”

About: Hi my name is Michele! I have 5 years experience with both house sitting/boarding and dog walking . I have taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages for friends, family and through a business. It truly brings me joy to take care of these special furry family members. I recently lost my great dane, walking and/or house sitting other’s pets truly fills that hole in my heart. I will treat you and your dog with the upmost respect and care. I am home Monday-Thursday. We have a house with a large fenced in yard. No roommates or children. It is a non-smoking home. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. I look forward to meeting and working with you! Thank you. I only work weekends so I am completely available for all pet needs Monday-Thursday. Feedings, medications, walks, bedtime routines… I have done it all with my own. Your pet will be in a safe environment. A quiet neighborhood, large fenced yard for space to play. I will not accept other pets while watching your own to eliminate any possible concerns.
“Jamie and her husband took such good care of my pup. They sent so many pictures and updates. They were also very responsive and patient with my anxiety about leaving him. Definitely recommend!!”

“The sweetest family! I am beyond grateful for the care our 2 dogs received while we were away. From caring for our elderly diabetic girl to our energetic gal they had the best stay. Couldn’t have asked for better communication or care. When our trip back home didn’t go as planned Jacqueline and Christopher were so accommodating and made it so we didn’t have to stress. Couldn’t recommend them enough!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who truly believes dogs are family. I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have three of my own—a big German Shepherd/Pit mix and two Westies—so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. One of my pups is a senior with diabetes, so I’m experienced with giving daily medication and paying close attention to routines and health needs. I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. Friends often rely on me to care for their dogs when they travel, and I treat every dog like they’re part of my own pack. I love spending time playing, going on walks, and of course giving plenty of cuddles and attention. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pup is doing great. I’d love to meet you and your dog! I’m currently working part time from home so I have plenty of time to take care of your pups! There are a few times during the week I may have an hour long meeting but overall my schedule is very flexible to come take your dogs for walks or have play time! I have a fenced yard and 3 friendly dogs who would love to play and cuddle with your pups! I’m also happy to crate my dogs or yours if needed and have an extra crate in my home! We love to stay out and lounge and play together and go outside when weather permits!
“Lacee is always so great with our Ozzy. We really appreciate her letting us add on a day when our flight was delayed. Highly recommend. We have left our pup with her 3 times and will continue to use her in the future.”

About: Hi! My husband and I are lifelong dog lovers, and we'd love to care for your pup like one of our own. We currently have a sweet 13-year-old female dog who enjoys having canine company around. We recently lost our other dog a few months ago, and our home has been feeling a little empty since then. Caring for dogs brings so much joy to us, and we're excited to open our home to new furry friends. I work from home full-time, so I'm available throughout the day for potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and supervision. My husband works on an 8-acre fully fenced property and can often bring dogs with him, giving active pups plenty of space to safely explore and enjoy the outdoors. Whether your dog loves relaxing on the couch, playing outside, or simply having companionship throughout the day, we'll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. We understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet, and we'll treat your dog as part of our family from the moment they arrive.
“They were great! Wren "Tots" got to go with me to a few events so I was able to pick her up and drop her off for her "sleepovers" with Holly and Justin. She really seemed much calmer than when I boarded her at the vet, and being able to be with me during the day (I was traveling from out if town and couldn't keep her at my hotel) kept her more relaxed. Thank you to them for being so flexible with our time! HIGHLY recommend them for any type of pet sitting!”

“Bowie was excellent. Great communication, lots of updates and videos. Made sure the dogs were active and managed them with his other guests very well. Gave me a lot of piece of mind while away for several days. I would absolutely recommend Bowie and plan to rebook with him the next time I need help watching our dogs.”

“Dixie is one very happy dog when she stays with Lawrene. She’s excited when I take her and I know Dixie is stress free, happy and having a wonderful time. I so appreciate the great care she receives with Lawrene.”

“Emma did a great job watching our dog! She sent pics and kept us informed the entire time we were gone. Last night we picked up a very happy healthy dog. I would highly recommend Emma!”
“The last time we boarded our dog overnight, she had severe separation anxiety and didn’t eat the entire time. I knew as soon as Dakota said that she ate her dinner and slept through the night that we were in great hands. Can’t tell you enough, how relieved I was!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
