“She was great. I could tell she genuinely loved animals. Her house was clean and set up perfect for dogs. My dog is nervous at first and easily upset. When I picked him up he was his happy normal self. Will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Kaela and Lee were wonderful caretakers for Joey! They and their children played with him, walked him, and kept him very happy during the stay. They were flexible with pickup/drop off times, and they communicated very well. I highly recommend them!”

“Lacee is always so great with our Ozzy. We really appreciate her letting us add on a day when our flight was delayed. Highly recommend. We have left our pup with her 3 times and will continue to use her in the future.”

“Jamie and her husband took such good care of my pup. They sent so many pictures and updates. They were also very responsive and patient with my anxiety about leaving him. Definitely recommend!!”

“Danielle took excellent care of our2 small very spoilt pups. Sent us multiple photos of them sleeping in a chair and on her bed with her. First time using her services. Highly recommend her❤️❤️❤️”

“Karen was AMAZING taking care of my puppy. I had to change the time on her and she adjusted to my new schedule without a problem. I received several pictures and was assured my dog was enjoying her stay. Very happy with her service!”

About: Hi! My husband and I are lifelong dog lovers, and we'd love to care for your pup like one of our own. We currently have a sweet 13-year-old female dog who enjoys having canine company around. We recently lost our other dog a few months ago, and our home has been feeling a little empty since then. Caring for dogs brings so much joy to us, and we're excited to open our home to new furry friends. I work from home full-time, so I'm available throughout the day for potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and supervision. My husband works on an 8-acre fully fenced property and can often bring dogs with him, giving active pups plenty of space to safely explore and enjoy the outdoors. Whether your dog loves relaxing on the couch, playing outside, or simply having companionship throughout the day, we'll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. We understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet, and we'll treat your dog as part of our family from the moment they arrive.

“Norma was an awesome sitter for my two dogs. In fact, it was a family affair in caring and giving attention to my furry babies. They had a great time playing with Norma's dogs in their home and yard. I highly recommend Norma for the care and attention she shows.”

“First time using Rover and Tara was superb to work with, excellent communication and very thoughtful through the whole experience. My Sophie came back very relaxed and seemed to have had a great stay. Would book again.”

“Leaving a puppy is a big deal and we are so grateful to Ashley for taking such wonderful care of ours while we were out of town! From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing our pup was in kind and capable hands. She updated us often which helped ease both our missing her and worries and responded so quickly with anything we asked. Not only was she returned to us safe and well-fed, but she also had a fantastic time! It’s clear she was loved and cared for just as we would have done ourselves. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter. Thank you so much!”

“Valeria and her family were great! They took care to make sure Merl got his medicine. Their home is spacious with a lovely big yard. I know Merl had a great time and we'll be back in the future!”

“Yukie was absolutely amazing and made me feel so comfortable leaving Echo with her. She made sure to send updates daily and was extremely responsive. I highly recommend Yukie!”

“We have used Robbie a few times to watch our dog, Coco. I love that he sends pictures throughout the stay and she always comes home tired from fetching and playing! Highly recommend Robbie!”

“Amanda is a wonderful sitter for my corgies. She is very sweet and careful, thoughtful and responsible. I would say that she is the best, so far! She loves my pets as her own, shown from the pictures and video she sends to me. Definitely, I would chose her to be my next dog sitter. So, you do too!!!”

“Thunder had a great time with Kara and her family. They were very nice and kept me updated with how he was doing during his stay. Thank you so much for making Thunders first stay without me such a good experience!”

“They were great! Wren "Tots" got to go with me to a few events so I was able to pick her up and drop her off for her "sleepovers" with Holly and Justin. She really seemed much calmer than when I boarded her at the vet, and being able to be with me during the day (I was traveling from out if town and couldn't keep her at my hotel) kept her more relaxed. Thank you to them for being so flexible with our time! HIGHLY recommend them for any type of pet sitting!”

“Dakota took great care of my dog, Ares! He shared plenty of pictures and videos, which I really appreciated. I could tell Ares was happy and well cared for the whole time. Highly recommend!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
