“Omg, my Lucky was so spoiled at ms.Amy’s house!! I was really nervous about finding someone online to watch her! However, when I met Amy and her children all my nervousness was gone. She sent lots of pictures and updates on how Lucy was doing. I absolutely will book with her again!! Lucy has found a second home!! Thank you, Amy!♥️”

“I had a wonderful experience boarding my dog with with Hope and Nathaniel! I was very thankful for all of the accommodating that Hope was able to make for us. She is very good with communication and quick to respond. Hope also sent frequent updates with pictures which showed how attentive and caring she was. My dog received amazing care and had so much fun! I would highly recommend Hope and Nathaniel for all your dog needs!”

“Lacee and her family took great care of Bailey! Kept me updated regularly. That was only my third time leaving him in 5.5 years. He was never anxious and was so calm when I picked him up. Again, Lacee and her family were incredible.”

“Mary and Mike were great with my five-year-old dog, Sugar! I received photos and texts from Mary to keep me updated on how things were going. I didn't worry about Sugar at all. I knew she was in good hands. My favorite thing about Mary is that she only watches one family's dogs at a time! This was very appealing to me as many dog sitters now watch multiple dogs from multiple families. I knew Sugar wasn't going to be with any other dogs, and to me, that is complete reassurance that my dog would get everything she needs without competition with others. Thank you, Mary and Mike!! Sugar was happy but tired when she came home. That is the perfect scenario for trying to unpack! Ha!”

“Jenny did a great job watching my 3 great danes. Jenny regularly checked in with me and sent pictures. It was very clear in the pictures that the girls were very happy with Jenny and took to her very quickly. It's difficult to find somebody that can take care of such large animals, especially 3 of them. Jenny did a great job and I'll use her again when I go on my next vacation.”

“There’s no one who I would trust more to watch our dog. Michelle and Tommy treat our dog like their own. I’ve used rover several times but I’ve never met any other sitter that our dog loved like Michelle and Tommy. HIGHLY recommend”

“My boys stayed with Robbie for a long weekend, and he sent me photos of them playing and kept me up to date on how they were doing Felt very comfortable leaving them there. They were well taken care of. Highly recommend.”

“Dogs had a great experience with Sasha and her family. Both of my girls were happy and had a great time with Tickles and Christmas. Sasha kept us up to date with lots of photos and texted us daily about how things were going. We would highly recommend her to others and hope she will consider us for any future boarding we may need. Thanks Sasha, Andy & family.”

“The sweetest family! I am beyond grateful for the care our 2 dogs received while we were away. From caring for our elderly diabetic girl to our energetic gal they had the best stay. Couldn’t have asked for better communication or care. When our trip back home didn’t go as planned Jacqueline and Christopher were so accommodating and made it so we didn’t have to stress. Couldn’t recommend them enough!”

“Valeria and her family were great! They took care to make sure Merl got his medicine. Their home is spacious with a lovely big yard. I know Merl had a great time and we'll be back in the future!”

“Yinying was amazing with our dog !!!! She cared for him and accommodated our schedules!!! Her daughters also played with him . They took lots of pictures and keep communicating”

“Jasmine is so sweet and took great care of my 2 fur babies. She responds promptly. She kept me updated with pictures and little stories. It stormed while they were there and she messaged me to see how they handled storms before the storms rolled in. I highly recommend and will be using her again when I need someone to watch my dogs.”

“I like to think Sabo thinks of Regina and Ted’s home as a doggy getaway. They always take great care of him and when he comes home he’s out like a light! I can tell he had a blast, Thank you guys again!”

“Derek and Morgan did great with Koda! We were able to do a meet and greet, they sent multiple pictures and updates daily, and were flexible with drop off and pick up times. They even got Koda a special treat. Will definitely book again with them.”

“A huge thank you to Norma & her family for taking such good care of Hazel & Hannah. Her home is safe & pet friendly. Communication was excellent & I appreciated the photos & updates. I truly had peace of mind during my getaway. I highly recommend!”

About: I have experience taking care of rescue animals, and I also have experience in a veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant. I am a Certified Dog Trainer but not currently taking new clients. If you have animals that don’t get along and need someone who knows how to handle that I am your girl. I’m well educated in animal behavior and I’m very sensitive to their energy which helps me know how they are feeling and/or what they need.

“I had to go out of town a few days after my German Shepherd had surgery and Abreaunna did a fantastic job watching and taking care of him during his recovery while sending daily pics and updates! Highly recommend and will absolutely use again!”

“The sweetest person and treated my pup like her own! She sent me pictures throughout the stay and kept me updated, so very happy with my first boarding experience. Would most definitely recommend and use again!”

Michele was so welcoming when I dropped my dogs off. We had a last minute change and she was thankfully available for one more day and night on short notice. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
