“Henry and Stephanie were great sitters and communicators! They sent videos and pictures of mozzie daily. Mozzies terrified of storms, and they took care of him like one of their own during his panic attack. Mozzie came home a tired and happy dog!!”

“Valeria and her family were great! They took care to make sure Merl got his medicine. Their home is spacious with a lovely big yard. I know Merl had a great time and we'll be back in the future!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Heather. She is the only person that we would trust with our fur babies from now on. We needed someone to love and care for them while we were gone and she did just that. She sent photos and daily updates on our kids and made us feel at ease.”

“Leeann was great to work with! This was my first time to use rover. She made me feel very comfortable about leaving ace with her. She also sent pictures. That was great to see your pet content. I Will recommend to friends and family! Thanks again!!”

“Rebecca did a wonderful job of taking care of our dog and posted pictures with an update daily! You can truly tell she loves animals and I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again!”

“Rochelle was amazing through the entire process, even with a schedule change. Our pup Hazel had a great time with Rochelle, and the regular updates and pictures were greatly appreciated. Definitely will be rebooking in the future.”

“Thank you so much for keeping Sophie at the last minute! From the looks of everything we are well pleased and Sophie appears to have enjoyed her stay as well! We will be a returning customer! I loved and appreciated how organized Ms Shelly kept evetything and all of Sophie's things were kept well and labeled. All dogs were well behaved and Mutt Motel is a great place yo board your dog. Sophie is a Pit Bull mix and they had no trouble with her or navigating her with the other dogs. They also sent videos and photos which was a nice touch”

“Bowie did awesome with my puppy! He does have an older dog but seems like my puppy enjoyed the company. Bowie kept me update and took very good care of my puppy.”

“Tori was fantastic! I was nervous to use someone new because Bravo is my heart. She took great care of him and sent pictures every day. I could tell how happy he was in the pics. When I picked him up he was happy and not anxious. I will use her again and recommend her to anyone!”

“Yingying was wonderful to work with! I felt very comfortable with her communication and never felt like I was worried for our 2 furry children. She sent photos often and always answered quickly with any questions I may have had. We would love to have her watch our doggies again sometime!”

About: Hi! My husband and I are lifelong dog lovers, and we'd love to care for your pup like one of our own. We currently have a sweet 13-year-old female dog who enjoys having canine company around. We recently lost our other dog a few months ago, and our home has been feeling a little empty since then. Caring for dogs brings so much joy to us, and we're excited to open our home to new furry friends. I work from home full-time, so I'm available throughout the day for potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and supervision. My husband works on an 8-acre fully fenced property and can often bring dogs with him, giving active pups plenty of space to safely explore and enjoy the outdoors. Whether your dog loves relaxing on the couch, playing outside, or simply having companionship throughout the day, we'll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. We understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet, and we'll treat your dog as part of our family from the moment they arrive.
“Dru has taken care of my two fur babies for 3 trips now, and she is incredibly responsive, accommodating, and friendly! She is great about taking daily pictures of them. It’s a pleasure working with her.”

“Kaylee and her family took great care of my dog. She was responsive and attentive. They have a lovely home and a friendly dog of their own to keep mine company. I can’t recommend them any higher.”

“Karen was so loving and patient with our 7 month old lab! She was very flexible with pick up and drop off times. She also stayed home with our pup for most of the time and sent us pictures all throughout the stay, which was so nice! We will definitely be requesting to book with Karen again!”

“We contacted Robbie very last minute when the other dog sitter cancelled on me the day before my trip, he was very flexible and took a good care of my dog. We will definitely use him again!”

“Jessica was so communicative and sent so many pictures of the pups during their stay. We plan to use her again very soon!! I felt that my pups were SO loved and well taken care of!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Piedmont
Jamie and her husband Matt were great sitters! They provided daily updates and pictures so we knew our girl was in good hands. In addition to the great communications and pictures, our girl got plenty of attention and excercise, and they went out of their way to make sure our girl felt welcome in her temporary home. Jamie took her on car rides (which she loves) and even spoiled her a bit with a pupsicle on a hot day. She also provided our girl with a thoughtful gift that was definitely Nessie! I would highly recommend Jamie and Matt if you're looking for a dog sitter. They both made our girl feel at home and I could tell that they genuinely love dogs! Thanks Jamie and Matt for taking such good care of Nessie!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
