“I am so glad to have found Metinee and David through Rover! We received daily updates with photos and Romy looked comfortable and happy in each update. She also got to go on daily walks and play with their neighbors dogs while there. There are no other pets in the house which was a big plus for our girl who loves getting all the attention. Definitely will use them again!”

Rio loved staying with Dakota and even had a furry friend to play with while there. I received daily pictures and fun videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. I am a helicopter dog mom and my crew are my everything. Justin (and his wife) made our time away completely stress free! From communication, to the meet and greet and updates and pics all throughout the stay! We were blown away by their love for our little monsters. They've been crashed out since we got them home and it's hard to wear them out. Thankful to have come across his profile Absolutely will use them for any future vacays! They rock! 🩷💜

Kenwin was so great with Rocky. He's a very timid, non-confrontational dog. But within a short amount of time that I dropped Rocky off at her house, she was sending me pictures and videos of how well and quickly he was settling in so I think that just speaks to the quality of care that she gives. Plus she was also attentive to Rocky's special needs like how his belly band situation worked and special dietary needs. I definitely will book her again.

I would highly recommend Brittnee! She is the absolute best. Our dog is an anxious Newfoundland and she made him feel right at home. She even ran to the store and got him pumpkin to calm his stomach down. We received daily pictures and communication was great. You can tell she loves animals. We WILL be using her services again. ◡̈

Lady had such a fun week with Kayleigh, Mike and their fur family Tito and Paxton. Highlights included multiple walks per day and non stop wrestling matches with Tito. Although there was no clear winner to the wrestle matches they both ended in high spirits and looked forward to their next meeting in the backyard. We received constant pictures/updates throughout her stay which we really appreciated. We know they took great care of Lady and treated her like their own. We would highly recommend Kayleigh to anyone!

Chrissy and Josh were a perfect choice to take care of our three dogs while we were out of town. Their home was so calm and inviting and their personalities made our dogs feel safe and relaxed. The pictures that they sent us showed our dogs happy, relaxed and well-taken care of. I can’t recommend them enough.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
