I am a full time remote employee so I have the flexibility to change my schedule to what works best for my pets. For instance- in the summer I know it’s very difficult to get a walk in late in the morning because of the heat so we make it a priority to get up in the morning and get our exercise in. During the cooler months, I know I’m able to walk almost any time during the day. The nicer the weather, the more we are walking!

Safety, trust & environment

When it comes to caring for my pets and other peoples pets, providing safety, trust, and a comfortable environment is the most important part. I’ve learned that I expect people to care for my pets the same way I care for them- which is going above and beyond. They only have one life, right?! I’m very focused on understanding a pet owners needs so that I can make the owner and the pet comfortable. I understand the uneasiness that comes with allowing someone else to care for your fur baby so the more stress free I can make it, the better for all of us! Our golden retriever Winnie was a diabetic which is a situation that requires a lot of precision and focus. The care that I provided for Winnie (checking blood sugar, administering insulin shots, measuring specific amounts of food, etc) has made me become even more attentive to my other pets ensuring that they all live long healthy lives!

No breed preferences. I’d like to know if your dog requires any special care, any do’s/do nots, any places I should not go with the dog, any potential triggers, etc.

A typical day

The more fun we have the better! Any activities that the owner would like me to do with the dog, I am willing. If it’s a slow walk around the block for a senior dog, a run during the cool parts of the morning with a pup that has endless energy, or just a game of fetch until the pup is tired, I am the girl you want!

Pet care experience

***for boarding requests- dog or cat must be cat and child friendly!*** I’ve been a dog lover my whole life. It wasn’t until I got my first dog in college and then my first cat a few years later, that I really realized my passion for giving animals a happy life. My previous career required me to move around a bit and no matter how difficult it was, I always knew I had my dog and my cat by my side. It might seem corny but it’s true- they always provided that companionship when it was time to move somewhere new. My pets play such an important role in my life that when I went on my first date with my now husband back in 2020, we decided to go to an outdoor restaurant where we could bring the pups to make sure they got along ok. Thank goodness they did because that meant I got to add another pup to my life. Leo and Winnie have since gone to dog heaven and now we have a pup named Tito that we adopted in January of 2026 and our best girl Paxy cat. My hope is that I get to share the love I have for my animals with your fur babies too!

Lady had such a fun week with Kayleigh, Mike and their fur family Tito and Paxton. Highlights included multiple walks per day and non stop wrestling matches with Tito. Although there was no clear winner to the wrestle matches they both ended in high spirits and looked forward to their next meeting in the backyard. We received constant pictures/updates throughout her stay which we really appreciated. We know they took great care of Lady and treated her like their own. We would highly recommend Kayleigh to anyone!

Kayleigh went so far above and beyond in taking care of my pets! I reached out very last minute and she responded quickly accepting. She was so communicative throughout the weekend and really eased my nerves about being away from my little best friends. I’m so happy to have found someone who is so thorough and truly loves animals like she does!

Kayleigh accepted my request at the last minute and sent me photos and videos of her walking with and loving on my fur baby. I recommend her and will be rebooking with her again.

Kayleigh was amazing! She brought our shy cat out of her shell and gave her so much attention! She sent us pictures to reassure us that she was okay. This gave us so much peace of mind while we were on vacation. We love Kayleigh and will definitely use her again!
